First time ever in a helicopter. A was a little windy out however, the flight was awesome! The pilot was personable and informative. I highly recommend doing this. We will be coming nack for a longer tour ride!

Great experience and superb views of Orlando. It was our first helicopter trip like this and would definitely recommend it to anyone. We got the budget flash tour for $25 each. Lasted around 7 minutes but well worth it. Would recommend the slightly more detailed trip for $40. Photographer took some superb shots and they are $40 for one large souvenir print and a file that they mail you with lots more. Great memories.

If youve never been on a helicopter before you should give it a try. The staff was great, they explained the prices and process. At no point were they pushy about picking any package.We went with option 3 ($53/person) which was numbers 1 and 2 combined. They weighed each of us, had us put our stuff in a locker and off we went. They take a couple of pictures which they offer a package when you return.Our pilot was awesome, had great knowledge of the area. Im guessing they have a three person maximum per flight due to seating.

The experience never gets old; safe, memorable; a lot of fun!My wife and I have used this service several times. This past week, it was with our 7-year old grandson. The ride always feels solid and secure and the pilots are always top-notch. All seats have perfect views. There are a number of ride options. I encourage people to consider the premium rides- you get what you pay for. Take your own camera with you PLUS buy the photo package that they offer. They take great ones of your entire group just before and as you take off. Years ago, they would include a disc or USB that included extra professional photos from the air. Now, they email just high-resolution photos of your own experience as part of their optional package. Often, the waits to ride are very short. Plenty of time for other activities on International Drive.

What a great experience we loved it

For under $80, 3 of us got to see Orlando from above (tour #1). Although it was only for a few minutes in the air it was a great experience! There is a $4 fuel surcharge per person and you can get a photo booklet with a USB drive containing the photos (including all rights, meaning you can do whatever you would like with the digital photos) for $45. As a photographer, I was very impressed that they gave away photo rights and the photos were very high quality. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience being in a helicopter!!

Amazing experience! Definitely one of the best things we did while on our vacation in Orlando! Visited with my kids and wife and had a great time on their tour 3. We got a great view of the Sea World area and Universal Studios. The staff was very professional and patient with us, who knew nothing about their options! They helped us with choosing our tour and gave us safety tips before we got on the chopper! The photographers took great photos which we purchased as we were leaving! Definitely recommend this highly to everybody!

We decided to take the $25 helicopter tour and it was worth every penny (cent). The lady on reception was very professional and explained the flight and photograph options. We decided not to go for the $40 photo pack. Once paid for, you get weighed in. We were a party of 3 and were really excited to experience our first helicopter ride. The crew take pictures of you as you enter the helicopter and get buckled in. The Pilot was very polite and we were soon flying high over sea world with a running commentary. Its really good to see places from a birds eye view and you can see Orlando city in the distance. I could have stayed up there for ages, it was simply brilliant !

This is my first tour with Air Florida Helicopter and so far I am thrilled with the ease of the booking process and the warm family vibe staff. This could be the start of a whole new way of helicopter tours for me and my family. Not only everything was perfect, but we felt in every instance that our tour guides truly cared about us. Also Benson took amazing pictures and was very polite and funny.

I dont know how they do it, but they manage to run this place with all smiles after dealing with tons of entitled tourists bringing in screaming children and such. Had a great time today, got the 16 mile trip which was really nice! Definitely coming back at some point and splurging on the bigger tours. Yes, they ask for tips because what they charge covers the business expenses and some hourly wage for the workers. If youre that bothered by a button on a touchscreen that adds OPTIONAL tip, you need to get over yourself.

My family and I were looking for something fun to do for this Fourth of July weekend coming up. So Us being fans of the aeronautical space, We ran into this place. It seemed like a good idea at first, so then we decided to read some of the reviews, you know like most people do with most businesses.And oh my God, I cannot believe the responses I am seeing from the business owner/manager. Let me be very clear, you are in customer service. It is your job to deal with difficult customers, and uncomfortable situations. Yet instead of taking responsibility when youre wrong, or accepting that sometimes customers can just be difficult, I see you Banning customers from your facility, and aggressively responding to every single negative review you get on Google?After you lock a customers daughter in the bathroom? After you provide misinformation via bad advertisements? After people who clearly have had a bad experience and need help, try to leave positive feedback so you can better your business? At what point are you going to acknowledge, that your company has been in the wrong on more than one occasion? I can read these reviews and the peoples intentions behind them, and they dont seem as malicious as you are responding. Yet here you come back with some really snippy response?I mean at what point does this business ever stand in front of its incapabilities? Its not a bad thing to know your weaknesses, because thats what helps you grow into a real business. But its quite clear that youre not able to grow there yet.The fact that I was a potential customer and you not only made me angry, but downright disgusted to the point of wanting to leave a one-star review for your behavior, after reading your various responses; I would NEVER! One of the highlights of my vacation in Orlando. I was shocked at the low prices of the tour packages available. I had always thought that these tours were too expensive for a 10 minute ride, but I was pleasantly surprised.As with any tourist area, I was expecting the usual sales pitch to sell the most expensive package, but that did not happen. The staff was pleasant and efficient and did not pressure me to buy more than what I wanted. We took package #3, a great value for $45 per person.The pilot was very very good at his job as he could land the R 44 on a dime and be a humorous tour guide at the same time.Upon your return you can view and purchase pictures from your flight. Again, I was expecting to hear an inflated price of more than $100 for the photos and a DVD, but i was wrong. The photo package was about $45, again a good value.Will I use them again? Absolutely!**TIP THEM** They deserve it.

Good experience in the helicopter. Staff was friendly. A little pricey. Also, mentioning about tips more than once is not good for business. Tips need to be earned, not paid up front. They offer you pictures but again too pricey. I offered them 20 bucks for 2 pictures, they refused. Not a wise business. Owner needs to address that.

The pilot was nice, it was an enjoyable experience. I would recommend going here if you are going for a quick entrance and exit, everything is an orderly fashion. Forgive me if i dont remember, but Steven(who lived in Atlanta pretty sure) was a great guy. He makes you feel comfortable each step of the way and made sure we were to know what is going to be expected.

Wow! Just got off the chopper! 10/10 ride, awesome pilot and very nice customer service. Not like the other helicopter rides in Orlando. This one is true to price and doesn’t try to upsell anything or pressure you at all. BUCKET LIST!

The helicopter experience was awesome. But in all seriousness, they need to do something about their customer service. 3rd time I’ve visited and I just had enough with their attitude. I’ve never ever saw a business with ALL rude employees. It’s clear they hate their jobs and it’s a shame. The pilot was extremely nice and that’s why I gave him a cash tip... I couldn’t believe the camera girl asked for a tip when I paid for my pictures after the way they were acting. After reading the reviews, it’s clear that I’m not alone with my complaint about their employees but I’m sure the response will be a rude one like she’s been responding to everyone else.P.S—you guys have an excellent business plan, great helicopters and all. Just give your employees some additional training and you’ll be an even more thriving business.

Me and my gf paid $10 extra for a longer trip to go over seaworld and universal, and another person came along that was not with us. I assume they didnt pay the same we did because once we saw the convention center and seaworld the pilot said we were out of time and couldnt see universal. Then they had the audacity to prompt us for tips and try to sell us a photo for $25. Will not repeat.

Today July 23, 2017 we had a bad experience with a women employee. We had asked nicely if we could get the price for the helicopter. She had kicked us out of the office and my daughter was still in the restroom we asked if I could go inside to get my daughter and she was telling us bad words and told us not to come back the next day. Im a tourist from Georgia and for me to get treated that way was just unexpected. I would love to talk with a manager if so tomorrow please and thank you.

Great experience! We only went there last week and I would say everybody treated us nice, I didnt see anyone being rude to us.I think it depends on your mood and how much youre willing to spend on this treat. We bought their tour 5, which took us over the parks of Disney and some more parks on International Drive. We saw Discovery Cove, some water parks, too. It was a pretty nice trip. The flights were clearly explained on a big board they had, so, we knew what were spending the money on. I think I wanted a longer trip, but for the first time it was long enough. We got a short safety briefing from one of the girls that took us to the helicopter and they also took some pictures of us. The pilot was friendly and he kept pointing at the things we were flying over. I would recommend this experience to anyone that wants to try something different and exciting while vacationing in Orlando and visiting the parks.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with them. The prices are really cheap for a helicopter tour and we enjoyed great views over Sea World and Universal. We didnt find any problem with the staff at any point. Everybody was very polite and explained in detail all the tour options. They prepared us for the flight with some safety instruction and helped us put on our head sets and seat belts in the helicopter. Our pilot was lovely and made the tour a lot of fun while explaining to us what we are flying over. Great place! Highly recommended!!!!

Fantastic value for money, whole package including photos for two $136, well worth it. Awesome 10-15 min ride, friendly pilot and staff, although the lady on the front desk could be a bit more cheerful. Overall definitely recommend :-D

Super fun flight! Great staff and informative pilot. They also take photos of you in front of the helicopter and you can buy them after the ride! We called before we visited and they told us to just walk in. Efficient operation.

Been here in 2012 we decided to take a 30 min helicopter tour because we had only limited time left. Was a great experience to see Orlando and the parks from above. Treated nice by the staff certainly worth to visit!

I went with this company as we were staying next door and the wife wanted to experience a helicopter flight.We went for tour number 3 just under $100 for decent air time, or so we thought...The wife filmed the flight which took a total of just under 6 mins and 20 seconds. The copter was a bit shoddy and gave the immpresion it was bought for $500 in a yard sale. It creaked, groaned and wobbled around the whole flight, the wife later admitted she was scared and was about to ask the pilot to scrap the tour and head back when she realised we were about to land anyway.This was not a good helicopter experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I wanted to have a wonderful experience. When I got to their International Drive location in Orlando Florida, they advertised as low as 20.00 per person. Being that I was born in the area, I wanted to do something that was not regular so I chose an 85.00 natural Florida excursion. I told the representative what I wanted and a very rude young lady advised me that there was a 2 person minimum and I had to wait. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told her that I should go and find something else to do and she responded thats fine, you can leave. They need to advertise better and know how to treat people....very disappointed.In response to Lubias response. What is not clearly advertised is the 2 person minimum on an explanation board that is very crowded and convoluted. What is not clearly advertised is outside your building when you advertise in big bold letters AS LOW AS $20 you do not advertise a 2 person minimum. You say that it is an option to purchase a childs ticket and go alone, but who in their right mind would do that? I also feel that you are now discriminating against me as I was a single person on vacation and I didnt have a friend to ride with me. I suggest you alter your advertising, train your staff to not be rude (as this is a common theme on these reviews), and stop making excuses for your companies actions and disguising them as explanations. You will not see me, my friends, family, or associates.

I been here for a few times with the people we help from the Spanish Countries and is a tremendous experience for someone that never been in a helicopter.

Paid more money for option 3 which is basically the combo of tour option 1 and tour option 2. Someone goofed and didnt inform the pilot because we just got option 1. It was the last flight, and next day we were returning home...So, never a good feeling when you pay for something and get something else.. Be careful that the pilot knows what you paid for...

Ive never been in a Helicopter before and this was a quick fun trip. I got our tickets on-line and showed up several days later. The girls up front were nice and the pilot was great. We were in the air about 10 minutes after we got there. A good experience but I will do the longer one next time.

I had a pleasant experience with their $20 helicopter ride. I am a high hour private pilot and I saw no safety issues. Aircraft was in good condition and the pilot was an experienced stick. The front desk staff were somewhat rude but everyone else very friendly. The ride was worth the cost I mean it's less than $30 with tax and fees what do you expect??? The photos they sale are reasonably priced and great for folks on holiday. I recommend flying with this company.

We looked online to decide what helicopter company to go to. Saw the two bad reviews, however when we went to the competition they were hard to get a hold of, their website was down, and they didnt even answer the phone! This company answered the phone and there werent any hidden fees. We paid, and within 3 minutes the helicopter was ready to go. I wouldnt recommend taking the 5 minute tour because that would just be too quick. Ours was 15 minutes across downtown, and it was a great view! Our pilot was very friendly and very informative with the surrounding areas. They even let us take our video camera on the helicopter, and when we got back they had our pictures ready to go. All of our pictures came on a cd and it was reasonably priced. I dont understand the bad reviews because this company was great!

Good middle priced option.The people that put bad reviews just whine cause they cant get their way, didnt read the website, want to forego safety precautions, and prefer an unsafe flight rather than follow the rules. DO IT!

Not able to take reservations. I tried to take my wife on one of their tours as a surprise last year, made the line to pay approximately 1 hour before closing time and when it was my turn to pay , too late they sold the rest of the flights for that night~ highly disappointed my surprise did not work out. One year later again called to make a reservation to confirm I would be able to do this before driving 30 minutes to this location a second time. Young girl on the phone says they do not take reservations , just come by and we can get you on a flight ~ YEAH NO! Explained what happened last year I tried that, she suggested I make the 30 minute drive just to pay for tomorrow - LOL. This place is good for tourist that just happen to be in the area. I reserved with Helitours instead. The online reservation was so simple and I have a confirmation emailed to me. The helicopters also look nicer. Pay a little more for better service if your really interested in doing something like this.

If you are a person looking to have a great time then I suggest you dont waste your time or money here. I went with my husband and uncle and was so disappointed. The front staff were absolutely disrespectful and very rude. We were asking her questions about the duration of the ride and she would respond with we have 9 options and pointed at a sign that had nothing to do with what we were asking. The other woman who was working beside her kept rolling her eyes. The helicopter ride was nice but not for $150. We were trying to take pictures before we got on and the ladies were just rushing us and shoving us in the helicopter. Overall bad expierence and would rate this place a zero if I could!

Nice experience but rude personnelI and me husband visited from Argentina and came to Air Florida Saturday last week. The gentelman at the desk looked hispanic, and we asked in spanish. A lady interupts quickly and said we do not speak spanish here. Ok, so we talk english, no problem. We buy a flight and enjoy. People at the desk in back spoke spanish and were very nice when we got photos. When we leave, we walk by the front desk again - and now the gentelman speaks perfect spanish to another group of people. Excuse me?! The lady smiles sweetly to us and says nothing. Btw, she is manager.I do not expect any US personnel to speak spanish, but IF they are able, it is polite and helpful to explain the differentes options and prices because it is a lot information. So do not expect any friendliness there.

My husband and I were in town celebrating our recent wedding and we went in to purchase tickets at 6:50pm. The gentleman let us know that they would have to refuel but will take us at 7:30 and that was our only option. We arrived with a few minutes to spare and were reminded by the guy at the desk that we would just have to wait for refuel. When we went out to the waiting area we were greeted by Lena and her poor attitude letting us know that there was no way we had a 7:30 flight because thats what time they close. Instead of speaking to the individual who book the flight she decided that she wanted to argue me down about what I was told. Me not being the argumentative type I reiterated what we had been told and advised that she spoke with the attendant. She came back saying we would have to wait another 20 mins and still continuing with the argument and basically accusing me of lying. Sadly we ended up getting a refund and didnt get to take the flight after waiting all day for it. At no time did she apologize for the inconvenience, misunderstnding, or wasting valuable time.

We were going to go on the helicopter ride but the lady at the desk was so nasty to us, unhelpful and unfriendly we decided to take our business elsewhere
