Off we go! One of the most enjoyable dark rides. The animatronics are dated, but with the black light glow, they look fresh and pop out. The story is thin, unless youre familiar with Peter-Pan, but its there and it starts in the queue. The ticking croc, Hook and Smee, even the mermaids and lost boys all show up in the ride, but first you see the Darling house in the distance with the parents talking in shadow, then you enter the Darling house and then on into the kids bedroom (with a ton of hidden treats, like the blocks on the bed), before finally Tinkerbell, flying in the lights, sprinkles you with Pixie Dust and then you board a ship and fly off to Neverland.

I cant believe I never have been on this ride! Its so fun and brings back childhood memories of watching Disneys Peter pan. Excellent imagination and creativity in this ride. Not as I expected. Walt Disney was a dream place to visit. But every ride has its own long queue. Peter Pan was a huge disappointment for me. We had to wait for 3 hours to get in but the ride was not that worth. There is not much to watch or enjoy and it ended very quick. Can be watched one time just for the sake of kids. They can upgrade the ride and add more interesting things to the ride so the riders can enjoy to the fullest.

We had to wait for 20 mins even with a fast pass. Looking at reviews we had big expectations from the ride. But we were disappointed. Neither it provided any value or thrill and was quite a short ride. You can give it a miss if there is more waiting period. Not worth a fastpass for sure.

Despite living in Florida my entire life, I had never been on this ride. When we were kids my mom always said the wait was too long with 4 kids and as a young adult I always gravitated towards the 3 mountain rides if I had to wait in a over 50 min line. But now that I’m a mom, the long wait appealed to me for my daughter because I thought this must be a truly magical ride. I finally bit the bullet and waited in the 65 min line (it was about 75 mins though) and I have to say, it wasn’t worth it. It was the shortest ride for the longest wait. I mean yeah you’ll sometimes wait in the splash mountain ride for about that amount of time, but then you’re seated for like 10 mins to make up for it. I will say it was magical and after we finally got on my daughter did enjoy it, but even she said she doesn’t want to go on again, which was hilarious to hear because each time we got off any ride her immediate demand was that we go on again. I think it’s a beautiful ride, but I’m sure there’s something to be done to make the line go faster. I would never wait that long again for this ride and I also don’t think I’d use a fast pass on it.

Review №33

The Ride was alright. Kinda cool. The wait time was ridiculously long due to the priority to fast pass people. I understand fast pass its cool. But the ratio at which it is fast pass to stand by is way to strong for fast pass people. They would basically let fast pass people on immediately which would make stand by line stop dead... On a ride in that never stops moving.. So the line should always be moving.

Review №34

This is a classic opening day Magic Kingdom attraction that also happens to be the most overrated Magic Kingdom attraction. Every single time im there i always see it with a 60+ minute wait, and i will never understand why its so popular. Its a 3 minute ride that feels more like 1 minute, and its just not worth the ridiculously long wait time it usually garners. Unless you see it with a wait under 20-30 minutes or youre a HUGE Peter Pan fan, i would highly recommend skipping it. There are better attractions in Fantasyland and MK in general that you could be spending your time on .

This is normally a long waist for a short ride. Even in the off season the wait can be an hour+. I still make it a point to ride it at least once per visit. It is a suspended ride over London and Neverland featuring Wendy, Peter Pan, Captain Hook et al in a wonderfully crafted miniature showcase. It is always an enjoyable and relaxing ride.

Younger children love this ride, but maybe about the time they turn 10 they are less impressed. If the line is short, fine, but not worth a long wait in my opinion. It is located in one of the narrowest, most crowded corridors in the Magic Kingdom. Almost every time I have been on it, the ride is put on pause for some reason.

Review №50

The ride is fun and all but the wait times are atrocious. Instead of alternating fast passes with the regular line its all fast passes then maybe MAYBE 6 people from the regular line and then another 30 person barrage of fast passes. Most of the regular line never moves because they are only letting on fast passes. The lack of progress forward makes the wait time feel even longer than it is. Either get a fast pass or go really early or late. Would not recommend over the other long wait rides

I love the ride and the new que. But this ride isnt worth more than a 20 minute wait. Its one of the rare, what I call, slap-together rides left with black light effects. Dont get me wrong, its fun as you fly around Neverland, but a 2 minute ride after waiting over an hour (unless you have nothing better to do) is not worth it. The interaction with the shadows and Tinkerbell were great, but still the wait is too long, best to always use a fast pass.

My daughter and I went to ride this during fireworks since there was no wait. Was walking through it at a regular pace when I got to the tile part inside Wham I slipped on water and landed on my knee. Was embarrassing and painful. Talked to the CM supervisor for that ride and he said it was water from the fireworks show. It was leaking inside from the sprinklers. Went on it then one other ride before making my way to the first aid building. That was a year ago and now I have to possibly have surgery on it. A little reminder to check the floors at firework time so it doesnt happen again. Still love this ride immensely!

Classic Disney ride! One of the coolest attractions that does in fact make you feel like you’re actually flying over scenes in Peter Pan. Very cute, but VERY short. Only around 90 Seconds long. Expect VERY LONG waits...While once a technological marvel, it’s getting rather old & really showing it’s age. Could definitely use some updates + upgrades, especially in regards to the audio-animatronics...The “Flight Over London” Scene is still epic & magically jaw-dropping to this day though...Not wheelchair accessible.Cute & historic, but definitely NOT worth the hour-long wait(s) if you don’t have a Fast Pass for it... Definitely a classic dark ride thats absolutely wonderful. It would be a 5 star review if it wasnt for the wait time for this ride. The ratio of fast passes available for the this ride is absolutely ridiculous. It said 90 minute wait time and we were waiting over 3 hours due to the amount of fast passes. For every 10 to 15 fast pass families they let through, they let 1 or 2 standby families in. They need to figure out a better system to balance it out. We stood still for almost 30 minutes at once point not moving at all. Most of our movement was from people giving up on the wait and leaving. The ride is great but the wait makes it not worth it.

Peter Pans Flight at Magic Kingdom is a dark ride that is almost a scene by scene recreation of the Disneyland version which first opened with the park in 1955. If people are going into this ride thinking they are going to see the latest technology and some thrills, you are going to be disappointed. This ride has been updated over the years, just as Disneylands version has, but its still fundamentally the same. Its a short, tightly told version of Peter Pan, but has some great visuals and tells its story better than most dark rides do. Its an incredibly charming ride and will delight most kids and adults, but its not for everyone. If you are an adult going to the park without kids and have no emotional attachment to Peter Pan and dont like waiting in long lines, then this probably isnt for you. If you are not that, then you will probably get a huge kick out of the ride and it may even become one of your favorites. The lines for this ride are long for a reason, its a classic. That being said you may want to get a Fastpass if you want to ride as normally the lines are among the longest in the park. That, or go to this one right when the park opens or late in the day.

I. Do. Not. Understand. The. Wait. Time. For. This. Ride.... This ride is extremely popular but I fail to see why. The decorations inside the ride look like they were done as a high school project. You can see the strings for the stuff that is supposed to be flying. The walls are sheets of fabric that arent properly attached. If you can make things appear to be floating in the Haunted Mansion, you can certainly make it look like Tinkerbell isnt being held up strings. Please update this ride.
