Very whimsical experience! Lots to see, especially if you dont mind venturing down the dark alleys (no seriously, they added interactive sections and shops to visit inside the dark corridors)! Everything youd expect from the Wizarding World. P.S. For multi-park pass holders, take the Hogwarts Express both ways. New experience each time.

The new Hagrid ride is amazing.. Also love the new fizzy orange juice drink with the cinnamon rimmed cup. We had traditional breakfast at the leaky Cauldron in hogsmeade and it was the best black pudding weve ever had. Didnt care for the singing orchestra, have a real band with instruments.. And would love to see more stores. Im just glad to see everyone wearing masks and properly even if it was too crowded to maintain distance..

If you love the Harry Potter fantasy world, you will love Universals wizarding world. Everything was full of details and contained so much to thrill your senses. The thrill rides put you into the action. The stores and displays are a delight to peruse. I mean how many times can you experience an opportunity to momentarily “live” in one of your favorite books? If you are a ride goer-there is only 4 rides total. All of them great but limited number. You MUST get all the butter beers, cold, frozen, hot. Grab some money from Gringotts bank and really feel like a wizard! Don’t miss the wand ceremony by the wand shop! Lots to do if not crowded you can easily visit the park in one day. *just make sure you have the ticket that allows access to both parks. Been there twice but honestly wouldn’t have to go back after that because it is on the tinier side and nothing new is added often. What makes the park worth it is all the tiny details and book related facts. Definitely a must just once is plenty :)

This review will probably be long, as there’s so much to talk about, so the TL:DR (too long, don’t read) is that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is probably the best attraction, holiday, and Harry Potter-themed place I will ever go to.Whether you’re a Potterhead or not, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a must-see if you’re in the area. Split up into the iconic Diagon Alley and the Christmas-like Hogsmead, you’d be forgiven for thinking that you were on your way to buy your first wand from Ollivander’s, or buying a Butterbeer from The Three Broomsticks or the Leaky Cauldron. Oh wait… you can do that! Every part of the two areas, split over Studios and Islands of Adventure (joined by the Hogwarts Express, which is an attraction in itself), radiates the same magic that J.K. Rowling envisioned when writing the books. The rides here are of the same calibre as the rest of Universal and Disney - my personal favourite being Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which is an exciting ride with a fantastic waiting area which takes you through Hogwarts Castle. Additionally, the two English pubs, the Leaky Cauldron and the Three Broomsticks, have a great array of drinks and meals (especially if you’re a Brit who’s missing your fish and chips). The themed shops, Ollivander’s and Weasley’s Wizard Wheezies, name a few, are true to form and have enthusiastic and dedicated staff on hand to make your visit all the more memorable. Lastly, the general feel of the two areas could not be pulled off any better. It is truly perfect.Unfortunately, like most American theme parks, the price is left to be desired. Although the selection of food, drink, memorabilia, and clothes are undeniably vast, they can be fairly expensive. However, if that (possibly along with the waiting times) is the only complaint I have of the park, then Universal have done a fantastic job in bringing the magical universe that kids, adults, muggles, witches, and wizards love to life.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I had always wanted to go to Harry Potter world. However, I was somewhat disappointed. First it is a hike to get from the parking garage to Harry Potter world. A better way to get there would be helpful. Second, in order to save on money and not get the advanced ride saver, you have to get there at rope drop in order to get into some of the rides. We arrived early in the morning and managed to get in before many of the crowds engulfed on it.Our first stop was Gringotts We had only about a 45 min wait. The wait wasnt bad at all the ride was fantastic. From there we took the train from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade. It was early so only a 15 min wait.At Hogsmeade we hightailed it to the castle. Even though it was still relatively early it was still over and hour and half wait. The ride was good though. The line was too long for us to do Hagrids ride and they were not allowing the single passenger line. So we walked around Hogsmeade (which didnt take long). We were unable to get in the Three Broomsticks. We tried getting the train back to Diagon Alley, but it was over and hour and half wait.We walked back through Universal. My biggest gripe is the transportation. There is no fast way to get to any of the Harry Potter parks. You have to wait for the train or walk through both parks to the very back. After spending all day walking around, walking that for to do one thing is abysmal. Harry Potter World takes a half day. The park is small and super crowded. It is a pain to walk to. For me, although I am a huge Harry Potter fan, it is one and done. I am not a big a fan of Universal. It feels like an amusement park. I am not a fan of the lack of transportation. I am a fan of the few rides in Harry Potter world, but they do not make up for all the negatives. It is one and done and I am unsure if/when I will return.

I LOVE HARRY POTTER and it reason #1 why I visit Universal atleast once a year, although typically I go 2 or 3 times a year. However this year I had my first bad customer service experience. We were in Madame Walkins shop Thursday October 29th and Daniella & Carlos were working the registers. There was a customer trying to reach $200 for a promo but he was NOT prepared to checkout, had not done the basic math to determine how much he was spending and he and his family were adding and removing items trying to get as close to $195 without going over by much. Meanwhile there is a line beginning to wrap around the store. Daniella and Carlos were both assisting this one customer grabbing items and putting them back and essentially ignoring the rest of the customers. After thr customer completed the purchase he then did the same thing a second time, once again adding and removing items asking for the price, while the line continued to grow and neither employee thought to use a second register. THEN another person in that party made yet another transaction. After they left Carlos finally looked up and realized the line wrapped around the store and began using his register. When my mother asked if this was normal procedure for both employees to assist one customer when there was a line of other customer Daniella actually laughed in her face and said he was spending a lot of money. If this is how Universal feels about its customers the $100s of dollars I spend on EVERY trip several times a year can go to another park who cares about all its customers, because little did she know I had already spent over $2000 at Universal this trip alone. If this is not procedure Universal should consider if Daniella is a good representation of their company and brand.

Amazing!!! Like stepping into the wizarding world!! For any fan of the series, its truly magical. Sign up early for the Ollivanders experience, and you can pick who gets to pair with a wand. Then buy it for $60 and cast the spells in the area. This was fun and we thought worthwhile, as it became more immersive. My son and I are the big fans, and were beyond thrilled the whole time. Gringotts was great- I regret not waiting longer so we could enjoy the details more. Those goblins are cool! Ride was not too intense- most kids 7 or older will be fine. We loved Knockturn Alley!! I was blown away by the attention to detail. I am not a Harry Potter fan, simply never saw it, but my kids are obsessed! They absolutely LOVED this part of the park. I thought the train connecting the 2 parks was pretty incredible. I never expected it to be as interactive as it is, I thought it was just a simple Train. Very fun! Never tried the butter beer but there were lines a mile long, I imagine they were good. My only complaint is the size of the stores. In order to find a wand or robe, you have to squeeze into this tiny building with 400 other people. Very difficult to navigate. The price of the wands and robes seemed a little high too. The robes are excellent quality but the wands not so much. A wand and robe for each of my children (3) cost me close to $600! They love them so it was worth it. Overall we had an incredible time and the Harry Potter world was definitely their favorite part.

This was my wifes and my first visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and we were blown away by the experience. It will be a place we visit over and over again. The sheer level of immersion Universal has created with the world of Harry Potter rivals Disneys level of thematic artistry. When you walk into Diagon Alley, you truly feel that youve stepped into the book of your childhood. The rides are also equally amazing both in the ride itself and the line waiting experience. All the lines have immersive elements to fascinate you as you wait, so the lines themselves feel like a mini ride. Harry Potter is always the hottest place in universal studio, 80 or 90 minutes waiting time is very normal waiting time. The tips to shorten your waiting time is having your bags saved in locker in advance, or you can have everything put in the small waist bag. Then you don’t need go to the other line to locker in the middle of waiting. The ride is a little scary, with 45 degree dive similar as roller coaster. We took the train from park to park which the train experience was my favorite experience of all. But we still even though I spent that much time could have spent a lot more time doing other things in the area. Theres a unique experience if you buy a wand you can do magic spells throughout the park which is fun kids loved it and I thought it was fairly reasonable its $50 for a wand but its a nice collectible and its reusable over and over again. Our first trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter did not disappoint! Both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade Village were incredibly built with great detail. All the park staff stay in character as well which makes the experience extra fun. We of course, did the interactive wands and tried our hand at doing magic which was very entertaining although not always successful. I do wish they had more rides but the two mains ones they currently have (escape from gringotts and the forbidden journey) were great. There is construction going on in one section for a new ride so we’ll have to make a trip back to check that out as well. We stayed on site at a universal hotel to get access an hour early and that was definitely the way to go. We were able to get some good pictures without huge crowds and wander around to really take everything in before both areas were packed later in the day.

The rides are incredible, and the shops are made for muggles like me who are sad because we never got our letter to Hogwarts.I believe my favorite part was visiting ollivanders wand shop. there you can purchase a wand that belonged to a famous witch or wizard, but you also can select your own wand that chooses you... I wish more space in both parks couldve been dedicated to Harry Potter as it seems that no matter when you go it is always crowded! There is just not enough room to accommodate the crowds, especially in the shops. While in Diagon Alley, dont forget to go to the currency exchange to get some Gringotts dollars that can be used in any of the Wizarding World shops; it adds to the experience, especially for the little ones! As a fan of the books and movies this was a huge treat! Diagon Alley is wonderful with so much detail and though out into every inch. I hope that eventually they expand Hogsmead and Hogwarts castle with more shops and things to do. There is limited rides, but the shopping is a huge part of the experience. The interactive wands really make it feel magical and I hope they keep adding to these items.

The entire Orlando Universal Studios experience was excellent!!!! We purchased park 2 park tickets so we could experience everything the park had to offer. Harry Potter was really cool as soon as you entire the world.... the buildings were cool, the show was fun, the beer butter drink ( non-alcoholic) was good. We rode the ride at least 5 times!!!!! We also ate at the restaurant , fish and chips.. we cant wait to go again..

You will find this in the London section of Universal Studios Florida. The entrance to this is tucked behind walls of Lancaster station between Kings cross and Grimmauld place. You will find the triple-decker purple knight bus right opposite to the entrance with the friendly Stan the conductor and the interactive shrunken head. Have a chat with them, get few snaps before heading into Diagon Alley. As you enter Diagon alley you will get a view of the picture perfect narrow street lined with colorful shops selling wizarding materials/ souvenirs and Gringotts bank at the end. full-sized dragon breathed fire above me from the roof of Gringotts, children summoned spells from fountains with wands around me, elves advertised delicious eats at the Leaky Cauldron, and butterbeer flowed. So magical. The Weasley Wheezes shop and Honeydukes werre straight out of the movies.Note: To get a perfect view and a picture please visit this part right when the park opens else its crowded as the day advances.Diagon Alley has everything to offer as we have read in the books or seen on screen.Enjoy the tricks in Weasleys wizard wheezes, take a look at Quidditch supplies, broomsticks, enjoy the chocolate frogs/ Bertie Botts every flavor beans and an array of candies, pick up a wand at olivanders and try robes at madam malkins robes for all occasions. You can exchange some muggle money at the Gringotts exchange counter with an interactive goblin seated there. There are a few places to eat there out of whichThe leaky cauldron is right at the corner with the perfect smokey walls lined with old photo frames, hanging big lights, benched seating as described in the books.Enjoy fish and chips and a butterbeer. Dont forget to have your butterbeer in those souvenir mugs. You can enjoy it cold or frozen. Butterbeer is also sold in carts in Hogsmeade ( Island of adventure). Also, Dont miss the knockturn alley where the Malfoys visited with dark magic shops. Its very dark inside even in the daytime selling dark magic artifacts like skulls, creepy frames etc. The ambiance there is awesome. On the other side, there is a little stage with live events going on, when we were there, tales of Beadle the bard was being staged. You will also find people with interactive wands trying to recreate magic resulting in water bouts from here and there across the area. There is also an owl post shop and flourish and bots showcasing hagrids monster of the monster book which is amusing to look at- yes it does snarls and moves ;) Coming to the Gringotts bank which houses the “Escape from Gringotts” ride. It has the dragon perched on top emitting sounds and fire in few minute intervals. Stop for a few minutes and admire this. I absolutely loved this. The whole area has potter themed music playing which makes the ambiance all the more appealing. I would suggest visiting this place as early as possible to capture perfects shots and strolling around without the crowds. We visited here in last month on a weekday which is not the peak, still, it was so much crowded. I would imagine the crowd on weekends and holidays!!! The detailing of this place starting from the signboards to shops, to Gringotts, is as described in the books or movies. Well being a harry potter fan, I loved this place and already yearning to go back! ;)Rating - 10/10

A very immersive experience and a must for any Harry Potter fan. The whole Hogwarts world is split over two parks but does not take away from the what it offers. The Hogwarts express links the two for an additional fee. The Butter Beer is a must try as is visiting each of the shops. The staff here are brilliant and make your visit!

Love this place. So magical. So many things to experience. Have a hard time seeing the rest of the parks because my son never wants to leave HP.
