The cast are excellent both human and birds. Excellent selection of exotic birds with flights directly over the audience. Some of the birds vary between shows too which is great.Also great that they are able to get the children involved a little with the show.If you get there about 15-20 mins early you can get a better seat and they also bring out a bird and talk about it.Good spacing of the audience to maintain safe social distancing currently during the pandemic.

Great show, also a great place to sit and relax in the heat of the day.

Caught the show the other day for the first time since the pandemic started. I really enjoyed the show without Dug and Russell. Just my 2 cents.

They have actually gone away from the Up theme and the show is MUCH better!

This is an exceptional show. They have many varieties of birds that appear as part of the show. If you are seated at the inner ends of rows they have a bird that actually flys through an audience made tunnel of sorts by placing hands up and across the aisles. There are several birds that fly directly over the audience at several times during the show. If you have never seen it, it is well worth seeing at least once.

Love this type of Disney, a little bit of entertainment mixed with a little bit of educational. Lots of interesting tidbits about the different species of birds which by itself would be cool but then they take it to another level with the addition of Dug n Russell. Keeps the kiddos attention and can be just as interesting to adults. The one downside is probably the seating and the “stuff them in like sardines” type of seating. Other than that it is a great time for all ages, plus it gets you off your feet for a little bit.

Could watch this show every day. Birds are beautiful

Every time you go to this show it’s a little different cause you know the birds are real and though they’ve been trained they are still wild animals. Educational. Quick, nice way to get your kids to sit down and allow you to enjoy the shade for ~20 minutes. Currently hosted by Scout Master Jones, Doug and Russell from UP! It’s a cute Segway from the show to doing the wilderness explorer activities around the park. Stay for pics with the birds after the show if they are behaving, see Russell Kevin and Doug at their visiting station throughout the day- see guest services or an show list/map for the most up to date times and availability.

This show is so funny, and the birds are very well-trained. This is NOT the ride in Pandora, Flight of Passage, its a show, featuring birds, and well worth your time. For the budding ornithologist, it is not to be missed.If you want to participate in the show, kids sit front & center, adults, sit center at the rear.

A must see show for our family on every visit. Its funny and thrilling. The birds are amazing.

The birds in the show are wonderful but the story behind the show and the interactions from the characters seem really forced and unrelated as well as annoying at times. Pull Russell and the old wilderness explorer staff member out of the show and just have a great bird show. Also, its very annoying to keep seating latecomers once the show begins and that was constant.

About the same as the previous show, I love the birds but dont appreciate the other parts of this show.

Bring back the old show. Focus on the birds not a stupid movie. I miss the old show.:( The inclusion of the woman discussing Diwali and how birds bring hope was okay. But I miss the original comedic and informative show.

Super terrible cringe worthy show. About 1/3 of people got up and left after 5 minutes. We loved the old version of this show, somebody managed to ruin it.

I was a bit saddened by this one. I was hoping it was going to be more UP themed. It uses the character and the dog and basically has a bird show. It wasnt done very well in my opinion. We left early as it just didnt hold our attention.

Sorry, my previous review of this place was a review for a different show at a different park. We actually went to this several years ago and it was interesting but not super memorable. I love animals so to me all animal shows are good but for being disney and the cost you pay for the park I guess I expect a little more.

There’s an old saying... ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, never has this saying been more apt than right now... ‘Flights of Wonder’, the witty, slick, professional comedy show that preceded this current offering, blended a classic double act with naturally talented birds. It had the audience smiling, laughing and applauding for 25 minutes. Today, ‘UP! A Great Bird Show’ has me doing nothing more than checking for messages on my iPhone and wishing, oh wishing SO hard, that this was no more than an unpleasant dream and ‘Flights of Wonder’ was temporarily down for refurbishment. But it was no dream. This was reality. Guano Joe Just a happy memory; lines like ‘Yes Joe, hide behind that tree. Birds hate trees’ consigned to the vaults. UP! Is dull, it’s slow, there are fewer birds, it’s not funny. Don’t waste your time, spend those 25 minutes taking a restroom break, wash your hands, grab a coffee, walk around in circles, pick up stray litter, donate a dollar to The Disney Conservation Fund, do ANYTHING but see this. It’s so sad that a classic bit of Disney has been prematurely retired and put to sleep when it was healthy, well and had years of life left in it. It’s cruelty to animals and cruelty to loyal paying guests.

Really well done bird show! The show as really well put together. The seating area is covered in a tent like structure to keep cool and take a load off. There is some audience participation. The pace of the show is great!

Really cool show. Big tip however, dont sit in the upper corners of the grand stand. A bird about took my head off. But it was great fun.

My wife and I own a few small birds. We may have enjoyed the show more just for that reason but I do feel that anyone would have a good time watching these trainers and birds. Some really great tricks and honest to goodness laughs.

An OK bird show constantly interrupted by obnoxious dog and boy from Up costumed characters. They serve no purpose to the show other than to remind you that Up is a movie that exists. Show would be better without them. Also while this is shaded its still very hot to sit in here.

It was incredible! Hands down, best ride of all the parks. If you do not like the feeling of falling fast or sudden jerks it might be scary. The whole ride isnt like that its wonderful and full or beautiful scenery and breathtaking graphics. An experience youll never forget. If youve been dreaming of flying or riding a dragon this is the ride for you!

One of my favorite attractions in the Animal Kingdom! I never miss it when there!

Soooooo hard to watch. bring back Guano Joe!audience is dead silent every time they’re asked to interact. there is no chemistry between the performers. the script is stiff and forced. what the heck was disney thinking? so seriously awful that people started leaving mid show. ruined worse than journey into imagination

An excellent bird show using birds that I did not know could be trained. If you like being the guest that gets to be a part of a show I recommend bringing a dollar bill with you. A bird can do something neat with that dollar if you get chosen.

I only gave this one star because google wont let you choose no stars.This show was painful to watch. People walked out. Do not waste your time or especially a fastpass. DISNEY- lose the horrible over-emoting dancer, the bird chasing stupid talking dog, the bird breaking the camera and the audience doing the boy scout like oath(which no one did even though we had been made to repeat it 4 times). Russell could still come in, saying he lost his bird, Kevin. People could say they would help him and show him other birds and what they can do. At the end Kevin should show up and be reunited with Russell. People like jokes and audience participation.

The fellow playing the group leader, orflag holder in this show has been doing this for at least 10 years now. Hes hilarious! We see the show every year on vacation, just about, and with him it never gets old. Oh, and the birds are amazing, too!

You get to see birds do what birds do best. I can’t spoil the surprises, but I can say it’s worth coming to Animal Kingdom to see it!

Be prepared for a VERY long wait. Dont load up on fluids, or plan reservation anywhere near the estimated wait time. Our wait said two hours, turned into a four hour wait. When we finally got into the seats we were blown away by the images. But then the screen went black and there was an announcement of technical difficulty. They didnt make us wait to much longer and placed us on another simulator. But everyone waiting now for sure had an even longer wait because two simulators were down. But treat the staff nicely cause its not their fault

Ive seen the show twice so far, and plan to go back and see if again. It is an amazing and funny show with a variety of live birds. The birds also seem happy and healthy, and like their well-being is treated as more important than the show.

Great show. Beautiful look at some experience and fun birds. Best seats are close to the stage near the center of each section.

Awful. Dont waste a FastPass. How Disney could have replaced Flights of Wonder with this drivel, is beyond me. They eliminated the owl and hawk flights, glossed over the educational aspects of the performance, and dumbed the show down into a disjointed mish-mash of nonsense. Squirrel! indeed. And apparently, this is the rewritten show which is supposed to be better. I shudder to think how bad the original script was if the improved one is this bad. The only ones who will like it are the kids under four. Really, if they were going to go the full Up! monty, they should have ended the show with old man Carl running out on stage to scream at the chickens to get the hell off his lawn.

The birds where very cool the show was corny and not that great. But seeing the birds was very cool.

Flights of Wonder was twice as good as this. I feel this cast change was unnecessary and doesn’t fit the theme very well, with the characters just abrubtly appearing to interrupt the show. Kinda dissapointing, I miss my boy flag guy.

Miserable experience with staff. No queues .no organization. Show is great. Be careful with kids. People dont mind walking over them because of lack of organization. Staff isRude .

This was a very interesting show. You get very close to some rare and exotic birds. The only thing I didnt like was the one cast member pretending to be deathly afraid of birds, it didnt add anything. Maybe its intended for kids who might be scared? I think that bit was overdone, but the birds definitely outshined him.

Who spent love bird shows. I like the educational value in the show. It not a silly show that make a bird ride a bike it real and about the birds.

THEY RUINED FLIGHTS OF WONDER. And the worst part is they didnt have to do it that way. Every time Doug and Russell show up, they say nothing about birds except that they have a bird friend named Kevin and they miss him and it feels like theyre showing up and pausing the REAL show so that the audience can watch them run around and be stupid. The show is stupid. They also took out about half the tricks that the birds do in order to give Doug and Russell more time to act stupid. Skip it. I might call this the worst attraction on property.

A fun show with allot of beautiful birds. The humour can be a bit tired but it is an enjoyable piece of family friendly performance.

I love birds, especially owls, and this show is an absolute joy. The show is a lot of fun and you get to be close to incredible, majestic birds that you hardly ever see in person.
