Rock Concert Movement #67 - Giving Blue Man Group Orlando a fabulous review - Ready, Go!Love, love, love Blue Man Group!We have seen their show all over the UK and USA and the Orlando show is one of their bigger theaters.Each show is slightly different though they have signature pieces they always do. The Orlando show is amazing! The theater is nicely laid out, and really there is not a bad seat in the house.I highly recommend this show, and would give them 10 stars if I could!

Far exceeded my expectations. The show really is a physical based comedy show that’s intellectual and juvenile at the same time. We had great seats just outside the wet zone. I would not have wanted to sit for 2 hours wearing plastic - too hot! Our seats gave us an amazing interactive experience. The actors and musicians are fully immersed in their roles so that adds to the fun too! I’d recommend seeing this show once for sure.

Slapstick dry comedy. Kids loved the music and dancing. Audience participation for lower level. Very interactive experience.

Everyone should see this show! It is so fun, my face hurt from laughing. Jello on my leg, ha. The interaction with the audience is so great. Our performance a guy just married was picked out for his own painting of self. And the other giggler onstage made me laugh. Tossing giant Balloons we were upgraded and enjoyed it so much.Bonus:great air conditioning on such a ridiculously hot, humid day so late in October.

My husband saw it a few years ago and he loved it. We went this past Friday for my Birthday and it was amazing. The interactions were fantastic. Would highly recommend it and I would go see it again.

Good show. Keeps you going and high energy. My daughter enjoyed it a lot it was loud. Fun enjoyable if you never have seen I would check it out ,shop around find your discounts online. Almost all seats have a good view not a large room so don’t really need to spend more to enjoy the show from any seat.

Great Birthday Treat - my family and I got tickets for the Blue Man Group as a birthday treat! The fabulous drumming, the whimsical sketches and the talented performers (blue men and supporting band) were very entertaining. I think you need to go in with an open mind and a sense of whimsy to truly enjoy the show -- it is not linear or plot driven and is largely non-verbal. We were lucky enough to get our seats upgraded to centre stage -- but the entire theatre is small enough for everyone to really enjoy the show. I particularly liked the parody of modern art involving an audience member, a white protective outfit, a crane, paint and a canvas -- but i dont want to ruin the surprise for anyone. I agree the twinkie bit was a bit long (see other reviews), but it was still very charming. If you havent seen the Blue Man Group (and I sometimes feel that I was the only one in the country who hadnt), treat yourself. One friendly warning -- the performance is heavily dependent on strobe lights and loud music. I dont usually like either -- but managed to enjoy the show nonetheless.

It was so much fun. Interactive and appealed to ALL ages. Will definitely be taking friends when they visit from out of town. Cant wait to see them again.

I didnt know what to expect going to this, but it was amazing! Very entertaining from beginning to end!

I absolutely love the show! It had a perfect mixture of fun, weirdness, and overall energy. I also found the group to be very interactive with the audience and I truly mean every member of the audience.Surprisingly, this show is great for all ages, at least kids 7+. It’s an experience worth the price.

Just because youre painted blue doesnt mean its funny!! Disappointed TBH. Expected more. Hardly any playing of music through pipes or props. Talent was over shadowed by ridiculous sections of extended audience interaction which was not funny. 2 people taken out the crowd for interaction. 1st one was simply just not funny. Sharing food and expecting a laugh didnt happen! Tickets expensive and crowded together despite top section of arena empty. People allowed to wear hats obscure your view. And to top the show they even let in a baby who cried through the show! If you cut out the awkward encounters and make show shorter with more drum playing the show would get 5 star. People rating this 5 star must have been in a different show!

I never been here, but i think it would be great. But Why Replace NICKELODEON? yes i know they left, but i didnt get to live from 1990-2005. #BRINGNICKELODEONSTUDIOSBACK (btw if your wondering why it closed, it is because they had a lack of employees, visitors, and money. so they had to close.)

This was the best show ever!! The Orlando theater is small and intimate enough that everyone gets a great experience and view. The guys are so talented in their unique music, and comedy, and they even involve the audience some. I couldnt stop laughing the whole 1hr 45min. I will see them again in a heartbeat!!

Our children (7 & 5 yrs old) like this Blue Man Group show better than they liked Magic Kingdom. Could have saved ourselves sooooo much money. Definitely recommend for adults and kiddos!

This was the second time we saw the BMG the first was on the arena tour for the Rock Complex Tour, the show at Universal has some small elements of that show contained within but overall is very different. We had a great time , it is an awesome show and very entertaining. This show delivers, it is creative, fun, visually interesting and the music is great - the additional band members deserve credit as well. I got some blue vodka drink before the show that was very good! The Florida resident discount tickets were only 46.00 each and it was worth every penny. We will see it again for sure, my wife even bought a shirt and blu-ray.

Total Fun! Love the rhythm, the hilarious skits and audience participation. “You’re Late!” The visuals are spectacular... we sat at the back and could still see everything! Plus... my daughter had a headache even before we entered... and they had Tylenol available! Even ear plugs (but didn’t want those).Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Awsome experience! You wont be disappointed! They put on a great show and meet with the crowd after the shows. They have a mixed show of antics and music that will have you laughing and loving every minute!!

I was nervous about seeing this show as on the evening I felt a bit nauseous. The staff was so friendly, they let me change seats so I could sit closer to an exit in case I needed to leave and they was so sympathetic to how I felt. Overall the show was amazing, I have never seen so many different acts using a wide range of instruments. Family friendly and gets the audience involved. Such a great experience, I am glad we took the time to go.

Seen it more than 5 times, around the USA. This is one of the best family shows on stage today. Its lights, sounds, colors, weirdness, funny, and awesomely musical. Theres slapstick comedy, so be warned. Not everything will appeal to everyone.The most awesome thing... This time I took a deaf friend to see the show. We sat on the front row. He loved everything, even though he couldnt hear a sound. He felt the rhythm, read the messages on the graphics, and loved the interaction.Best of all, at the end of the show the actors come out to meet you.

This show was great!!! Went 8/12/19. The whole audience from little kids to grand parents were laughing and having a good time!! It was a great blend of drumming and comedy skits. I will be looking to see if they have a show in the Boston area when I get home for sure!!!

This show was absolutely amazing - our tickets got upgraded for free added bonus but the show was terrific, its hard to describe, its comedy, music, art and we got to meet the cast as we left they stayed and had photos with anyone who wanted which was a lovely touch

I purchase tickets for the Poncho seating area. The show was okay with some good acts, but definitely not worth $169 for two tickets. Since we had to wear a plastic poncho we though we would be part of and act but never happen. The New York show was much better than the Universal Orlando show and cheaper.

The Blue Man Group are most known for doing a percussion show but they are funny, and interactive with the audience; all while not saying a word. I can definitely say that this is one of the best shows Ive ever seen. I HIGHLY recommend going to see this.

Who gives in f about blue man group? It was better when it was Nickelodeon studios! I was never born in the 90s so I never got to experience the Nickelodeon stuff but I do know a lot about it.

My family and I really enjoyed the Blue Man experience. Its something in the show for everyone.

Been here several times over the last 10 years. Always a great show and time. This last visit has a small issue with tickets and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. If you go to Orlando its a must to stop by and see the show.

This is by far the best show in Orlando and is located right in the Universal City Walk. It is appropriate for all ages. It can be a bit loud, but it is so much fun and entertaining that you hardly notice. The interaction with the audience is great, and afterward you have an opportunity to get a picture with both the musicians and the members of the Blue Man Group. Snacks, drinks and memorabilia are available at the show. Also, there are a multitude of restaurants and shops within the Universal City Walk area. I highly recommend going to see the show if you have the time when visiting the Orlando area.

Ruined our trip to Orlando. I was punched in the head by man behind me during the show when the big balls drop. It was horrific. Other than the first 10 minutes when they played the drums and had paint on drums, it was awkward and boring and no one other than the 2 seven year olds and 5 drunk people laughed. It was mostly just mime artists dressed in blue coverup. They make jokes about how many ways you call your butt. If you saw them in Vegas, this is not that show.

Loved the performance and the venue! Very clean and seat have a lot of room. The show was spectacular! A must see!

Lots of awkward quiet moments. The speakers were painfully loud and the lights painfully bright (and Im 24 and go to a lot of concerts and music festivals). I only laughed at like 2 things. Seemed like they have trouble filling the time and it dragged on. Bored.

I enjoyed the show just not as much as the one in New York. Paid $213 for 2 tickets in the premium seating area since my girl never seen Blue Man Group but she said she liked it so 4 stars it is.

Ive seen a lot of shows in my time and honestly this is definitely one of my favorites!to start with, i should probably explain he awful pictures. i had originally booked a seat right dead center directly behind the technical box at the back. from what i could see when we were let in the seats i had booked had been hidden with a curtain so im assuming the show was under capacity and they wanted to make the audience seem bigger than it was, so a half empty theater wouldnt have looked the best. as such the pictures are from far further forward than hoped. it also worth noting i do technical theater at college, so i may slightly definitely have been looking at different things when i took the pictures than the stage. its finally also worth noting photography and videography are not allowed once the show has started.... sooo...anyway, on to the show.to start with the led screens you see in the picture with the text on them picked out people from the audience at the start, getting people to clap one woman for winning the Olympics, then the next for being a rodeo champion and asking everyone to congratulate him for riding that sheep. i can say for sure that that second one wasnt true as my dad got picked out for that during the show i visited. finally it picked out another audience member and got people to clap them, saying he wasnt anything important but to give him a bit of group love.straight of the bat we are already right in with that audience participation, so if you didnt know what to expect you should be getting an idea of it now.throughout the rest of the show the blue men have a lot of fun with the audience, even climbing out into them at one point over the back of the seats, before accidentally turning the theaters power off. overall, it was extremely funny and certainly well worth the money. id love to go back and see them again.i went to buy some tat from the shop outside, i would have gotten a jumper but they were too expensive at around $60, and unfortunately the DVDs are region locked to america, so sorry to everybody from every other part of the world (unfortunately including myself). other than that though the ladys working on the shop where very helpful in helping us look through the shop, and i did end up with a nice souvenir from the show. and frankly a much nicer one than some others from it (spoilers). ;-)

Went to see The Blue Man Group last night at Universal Studios and I can say it’s a fantastic show. It was full of laughter and audience participation the best show I have seen in a long time.I would recommend this show to anyone young to old has you will enjoy it .Don’t just leave at the end of the show as you get to meet the group and have pictures taken with them too.

Incredible! My yellow London Flys are stained with goo but it was worth it! A must experience.

I never write reviews but the call center handling ticket sales for the blue man group has the worst customer service!!!! employees all they way to upper management do NOT value customers. Zero customer service skills.

If you rate this anything but 4 or 5 stars then you need to see it again! Blue Man Group was the best live show Ive ever seen. From the music, the comedy, the paint, the antics and more this is one of the most phenomenal performances Ive ever been to. I also had the chance to do the VIP tour where I got to do so many wonderful things including meet a Blue Man and interact with him. I would put 100 stars if it were possible!

Loved it! It was amazing! The show was interactive, it was funny, and the blue man group played great tunes. Everyone in our group really enjoyed themselves. We can’t wait to go again. Overall, a lot of fun!

Family of 4, kids laughed uncontrollably. Would highly recommend and if you dont enjoy you probably dont enjoy life.

So much fun for the whole family. Ive been to them all and the one here in universal has by far been the best experience. I will do it again and again and again. My kids absolutely loved it.

The staff was wonderful helping us get seated and Ruby was amazing! She went out of her way to take pictures for people and clean up a spill...even replacing the spilled drink. Great service!

Im incredibly disappointed that there were over the top drunks let into the show by the venue 5/14/19. They were allowed to stay in the show while being incredibly disruptive and throwing items at the performers. It ruined the experience for my family. It was a great performance but I think the drunks should not be allowed to buy tickets and be allowed in the show. I expected more.

I saw the Blue Man Group about 12 years ago in the same spot on New Years Eve. It was Fantastic. It looks like they changed the show and it wasnt near as good. The ticket prices are much cheaper and I still say if you have not seen Blue Man Group. Go see them.

Overrated. A lot of staring and empty, wasted time. A bit boring, to say the least. Little kids might enjoy this more than adults as the “jokes” was silly and immature. Not worth $75. This show should be no more than $35.

Brought the kids here for the first time in 2016 and they loved it. Sat in the splash zone (wasnt very messy) and they were selected to receive a free canvas created on stage. It was a great time and very memorable.

I had seen parts of this show online but it was still really fun to see it in person. The audience interaction was some of the best parts. If you are on the fence about whether or not to go I would say GO. I heard a group saying they were so glad they could fit the show in their trip.

Disappointing to say the least. My mom has wanted to see this show for years, so we drove up to Orlando for the night. We got the cheapest tickets which were still $75!! Definitely NOT worth the money! Ive been to several broadway shows for far less money & way better entertainment. There was no point to half the skits they did. The show didnt flow. The music was pretty cool. I kept checking the time b/c I.was.so.bored! An hour & 45 minutes later..... They did one skit where they pulled an audience member up on stage for the stupidest Twinkie skit that lasted 20 min too long! Save your money or go to Universal instead. You can spend an entire day at Universal for just a few bucks more & I ptomise you, youll have loads more fun & laughs!

Was an awful experience. As a former employee of Universal my mother had always asked me to take her to a performance. I bought her tickets for mothers day and surprised her this year with it and she could not be more excited. When the show started, it was maybe five minutes of what they advertise to the public. They were doing neat tricks to make paintings which you can later purchase. However, the rest of the show was absolutely RIDICULOUS and a COMPLETE waste of money. My mom and I were so incredibly disappointed. It was SO ridiculous in fact that they brought a person from the crowd to come on stage, sit down for 20 minutes and eat twinkies with them, silently. And THEN squirted twinkie filling from their chests into a box, put a bow on it and sent her on her way. This is not at all what this show is advertised as. If this is what you would like to bring your kids to see by all means do it. I never ever ever leave reviews for something. But if this helps someone save their hard earned money and spend it on something they can enjoy then so be it. Id give this show a negative rating if I could. In my mothers words (who never uses fowl language), the show was a sh*t show. False advertising, waste of time and money.

Went to the show for Valentines day and my wife and I had a blast. Very colorful, interactive, and just plain fun. Pricey, but fun.

Very entertaining and funny show, but do not pay for the band experience afterwards. Its with a member of the background band, not a blue man. You can bring your own snacks and drink, which is cool

My daughter is a drummer. The show was entertaining and interactive. The highlight after the show was to be able to purchase the light up sticks.

Absolutely fantastic! Something completely new, tickets are quite pricey, but if your coming to universal studios you have already accepted that fate! The cast will be outside at the end of the show (maintaining character) for photos. A bit of music and comedy rolled into one, well worth a spare evening of you havent planned anything already!

Unique performance! Get there early it takes a while to park and walk to entrance. Very entertaining and interactive!

Loved it! The show was very creative, with great music that sometimes got really loud. The Blue men often went out into the audience and chose a couple different people to participate in their skits. Its a really colorful show, great humor, and often time very artistic. Quite a few different skits and everyone in our group really enjoyed themselves. Funny how they treated late arrivals and people who got up to get food or go to the bathrooms. There is a food and drink counter (alcohol served) and members of the band were in the lobby after the show to take pictures with. Overall, a lot of fun.

Dont wast your money on poncho seats. You will not get drop of anything.

What an amazing show!! I thought it was just guys in blue that made music with tubes and its actually so much more!!! Very interactive, funny, exciting and a whole lot of talent!! Definetly a show you dont want to miss.. if you can get seats from midway down, then do it. If you cant see well, then you might miss some small things going on the stage.

Fine visuals and great sounds experience. I just thought it would be more mind-blowing creative. The long interaction with an audience member on stage with Twinkies was lame.

It was AMAZING!!! This was the most hilarious, interactive and entertaining events Ive ever been to. My daughter was selected to participate in the show and she had the time of her life!!! We cant wait to go again. Anyone visiting Orlando should attend this event.

This was my favorite performance from any production Ive seen. Ive gotten the chance to catch a lot of shows and this has been by far the most enjoyable. I dont want to spoil any of the fun but everyone will enjoy it. Period

This was the funniest and most entertaining thing that I have seen in a long time. I knew that it was going to involve music, what I didnt expect was it to be funny! I laughed and laughed, and laughed. I was impressed how the show was culturally relevant and how interactive it was with the audience. It was engaging and really enjoyed myself. We also took our two kids and two of their friends ages 7-9 and they all LOVED it. They were so excited after the show, and talked about it for the rest of the weekend. The show does not have one dull moment. It really is a great family night out, date night, or girls night out. There is some strobe lighting involved in the show so that should be known in case you have medical issues that could be affected. The venue is also awesome because there really isnt a bad seat in the whole house. We sat in row L and I felt like we could see everything great. The venue also provides little booster seats for the kids to sit on so that they can see over the grown ups heads. Our kids sat on them for the whole 1 hour and 45 minutes and they didnt complain of being uncomfortable at all. I highly recommend this show!

FANTASTIC show! Our second time, but a first at Universal Orlando.Allot of familiar, but great acts ... some new ones too. Sat in the very front row, we did get hit with a few small pieces of (twinkies, or mashed bananas, lol).A nice theater, in great shape, nice snack bar too.All but sold out during our show!

Have been to this show 3 times. My child loves it. Creative, entertaining, funny and it really rocks.

The only issue is the seating, handicap sections should be away or in a different area where dosent interfere with others Guest views.

HOW DO PEOPLE ENJOY THIS? It’s very boring, has no rhyme or reason and is NOT entertaining. I’m very sad I wasted my last night of vacation watching these guys rub Captain Crunch all over their face. Very disappointing and not worth the money at all. I don’t get it...

Was hilarious, great rhythms, amazing crowd interaction. An amazing way to end off a night of exploring the parks.

Worst show i’ve Seen in a long time. Not at all entertaining. Not much to even speak of. Not sure how people enjoy this show. It’s 3 guys who chew food, spit out some stuff and play with paint while this creepy rock band plays in the background. Basically that’s it. The lady they pulled from the crowd was actually pretty good and saved the show a tiny bit. Otherwise, we hated it and hope no one we know wastes their money on this silly show. No clue how it is still running .

I have seen this show in NYC 8 years ago and it was very different. The technology had a big influence on the context of the show at Universl Studios in Orlando. In my opinion it was based to much on the technical affects and not on the human talent and creativity of the Blue Man actress which I admire. However the last part was inspiring with the balls in the air and interacting with people like it was a bech party!

Lots of energy, incredible dancing, literally stunning. We were in the last row and the seats were amazing!!! Would not recommend for young kids though, esp. if the are sensitive to loud noises and flashing lights

I’ve never been to a show I didn’t like, until now. I am so confused as to how this show has so many good reviews, idk, maybe I just didn’t get it. I don’t see what’s funny about guys rubbing Captain Crunch all over their face and just chomping and staring. How were people laughing?! I love any show that there is, but this was a huge waste of time. Left half way through!

It was a fun show, I would recommend seeing it once. it starts off a bit slow and not so fun, the audience member skid is very long drawn out and somewhat uneventful. But towards the end it starts being great, the music and paint spraying steps up and the whole audience gets to stand up, dance and be involved in this big party. I kinda had expected the entire show to be like the last 20 min, with lots of paint (thats why theres a splash zone and ponchos, right?), party, music and dance etc.Hopefully they change that in the future cuz this show has great potential to be super awesome

I had always wanted to see the blue man group, so during my visit I decided to fork out the money and treat myself. I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Its clever and funny and entertaining. Book well in advance as tickets go relatively quickly, but we were able to pick up tickets the night before the show and still had fairly good seats.

I hated it. It was so stupid and immuture. I got straight up angry. Would not recommend if you hate immuturity.

Not worth it for the price and also parking rediculous.. we entered at 5.20 PM for parking they charged $25 but after 6.00pm it is free.. so unpaid $25 for 40 minutes atleast it should be prorated or validated I do t recommend

Absolutely horrible experience. Made my wife in a wheel chair walk up 15 stairs to her seat. This is not handicap accessibility. The staff seem unaccomodating and uncaring. I could careless about the show after you treat handicap people

My mom and I had an AMAZING time. Neither of us had ever seen a Blue Man show before and we spent the entire show laughing and having a great time. It was amazing that they could convey without talking. It was a mime-comic-rock show and we loved it!

This was my first time experiencing the show. What I was expecting it to be about was more music with paint, comical skits loud strobe music. Although the show had that it was a very little portion. The other half of the show was the blue men chewing food then spitting it at the crowd, or putting something that was in their mouth in a lady’s very nice, expensive purse, and spitting out something in one of the audiences bare hand. It was very disturbing. There was probably only two or three times out of the hour and 45 minute show that they used paint with the drums. And being in the “splash zone” you don’t get any paint on you, if anything it’s food that they were spitting on you. I feel bad for the people that paid way more to be in the front because before the show started they offered people in the back to move up to the front for free. All in all it was funny at times but other than the few moments of humor it was very gross. Definitely would not recommend spending the various high amounts of money for the show.

This is an unbelievable show. The performance is spectacular. The performers stay until everybody has a chance to take a picture with them. My kids couldnt stop talking about it as we left.

What an awesome and fun show!! Whether youre young old, single or have kids, this show is perfect for anyone! This show entails unique musical instruments, live art, and tons of audience interaction, all with a colorful twist! This is a must-see show! If you sit in the poncho section you may get a little dirty, but it isnt too bad, and the seats are awesome!
