My daughter started dancing here 7 years ago. We switched to a bigger company after a few years at Russian, but returned to Russian because the love of dance, support, and self-esteem that this team gives their students is a thing of beauty. Now that I have a basis of comparison, I can say that Russian Ballet is the best option of the local ballet schools. The Christmas Nutcracker performance at Lake Eola is something my child looks forward to every year.

I’ve been taught by Katerina since I was 6 years old, I’m now 22, do the math. Katerina is one of the most understanding and professional instructors there is! I was able to get not only a professional dance resume but a collegiate dance scholarship under her guidance and incredible dance knowledge. I don’t know where I’d be without Katerina’s guidance in both life and dance. Thank you so much RBO!

I danced at RBO for about thirteen years and I would not be half the person I am today if I did not have Katerina in my life. She taught me early on in life about hard work and dedication, which helped me immensely in all other aspects of life. Her instruction and guidance not only helped me become a better dancer, but also a better person. It always felt like home when I was at the studio and I never doubted how much Katerina cared for me and her other students. It really is like having a second family.

The experience I had while at Russian Ballet Orlando will be one that I will cherish and hold close to my heart forever. World-class instruction, exquisite company productions and the development of long lasting friendships. I came to RBO after taking a three year long break from dance and if it wasnt for Katerinas trust and belief in me, I probably would not be a part of the dance world today. Her direction and leadership is like no other and extremely professional. Every member of RBO is treated like family and you can sense that as soon as you take a step through the studio doors. This place reignited my passion for dance and I will always be grateful for Russian Ballet Orlando.

I’ve taken a few adult classes over the last year, and have just started going consistently every Monday night now. Marissa has been amazing and is very thorough. I did 10 years of ballet and 2 years of pointe growing up, it was a big part of my life. It’s been 10 years since I’ve taken a class but Russian Ballet has made me feel welcomed every time I visit. I’ve also had two experiences with Katerina, the owner. Once when she had to fill in to teach a class and another time when I came to class early. It was during the summer and only my second time there, so I wasn’t familiar or comfortable in the studio. Katerina was quick to show me around the studio and introduce herself while telling me about the studio. Both her and Marissa are great instructors that really want you to do well and try to push yourself. I will be coming to Russian Ballet as much as possible!!

This place has a really nice and inviting artistic director. She always greats me with a warm and inviting hug when I visit on any occasions and her and her staff try their best to make my time at this studio an enjoyable one. I applaud them for their hard work and dedication to dance and to creating that environment of family!

I’ve been here since I was 3 or 2 I can’t remember now I am 10 years old, all of the teachers treat the students with respect and have discipline but they also love you. They treat you like family️

After searching and taking classes at many regional ballet studios, Ive come to the conclusion the Russian Ballet Orlando really is the best that Central Florida has to offer. It checks off everything on my list. Katerina (owner) really makes it a point to have a great working relationship with everyone who walks through their doors. The students who attend are all lovely human beings who make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Not to mention their talents and abilities are an attestment on their own of the quality the RBO is. And the instructors are all top notch in their field. I regularly take the adult classes with Henry (instructor). He has a wealth of knowledge in ballet and has a great way of getting his students to understand all the intricacies that is the vaganova method of ballet. Not only that but he makes class fun and makes us CRAVE going back. Ive made so many friends since starting there as have many others. Anytime I get asked about a good quality ballet studio, RBO is the only place I recommend.

A great place to take adult ballet and pointe classes.!The staff and dancers are very welcoming and friendly... even to a drop-in visitor as myself.They do teach Vaganova method which is a plus.! Katerina is amazing with the students. The students learn disciple, with love. They have many chances to perform throughout the year. Katerina gives back to the community opening up the studio to young students for a free ballet lesson 2x a month for those who might not be able to afford lessons. The summer camps are also a great learning experience, mixed with a lot of fun. Our family has been at this studio for many years. We have tried other places, but nothing compares. We are lucky to be a part of the RBO family!

I started my daughter out at the Russian Ballet Orlando when she was 2.5 ... She l loves the structure and grace of it all. Its helped her develop listening skills, motor skills and a passion. I love all of the people that work there... Its a second home.

Katerina (the owner) not only cares about providing the best instruction possible, but she cares about helping each child be the best person they can be. She does not tolerate gossip or bad attitudes, and works so hard to cultivate a healthy environment and safe place for children to learn in her studio. She treats her students like family, and cares about their needs.Aside from Katerinas unmatched character, her professional skills are also top-notch. Shes quick to recognize each dancers individual strengths and weaknesses, and works with them to accentuate their natural gift, and develop where they lack. Choreographing is a place where she comes alive, and her parents (Irina and Vadim) provide AMAZING instruction as well. All of the staff at her studio is professional and hard-working. This studio provides more performance opportunities than any other Ive seen, giving students a chance to be in full-length ballets from the age of three or four.I personally attended the summer intensive this year, as well as have attended classes throughout the year. Of all the places Ive danced, I have never been in a more positive, caring, and professional environment to learn. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I highly recommend this studio!

Beautiful studio, amazing knowledgeable teachers, and excellent structure! My daughter goes to the pre ballet here and i have never seen her so happy not to mention youre treated with the respect you give here. We have tried many different studios/academies in the area and none compare to the energy and skill of the Russian academy.

This studio is the best in Orlando!! The teachers are so kind and really care about you! They are always wanting to give you different opportunities! Highly recommend!!

I recently purchased a special deal this studio was promoting; 30 days of unlimited classes for 30 dollars. When I inquired about the special I specifically asked if classes would be canceled during the holiday break. I was told by that December 25th would be closed, and there might be cancellations of December 26th based on the number of students registered. A few days after that I noticed that all of their ballet classes offered from December 22nd through January 4th had in fact been canceled. This is half of the time I paid for. When I asked the studio what was going on, the executive director responded with an apology, and offered me two free ballet classes for my inconvenience. She stated that there was no way to extend the expiration date in their system. This means I’m just out of luck. If they can offer two ballet classes, they should be able to offer an additional two weeks of ballet classes to cover the time I paid for. This was false advertising and poor management on their part.

The best studio in Central Florida - the owner is the best!

Terrible so bad all they do is practicing for performances and dont do any real ballet like stretching or at the bar if they do its like for 10-29 minutes and then the practice for the shows its so bad very expensive too expensive i wasted my time there i go it 0 stars to many expensive THINGS you have to pay so unprofessional there are terrible they get a thumbs down terrible studio
