I dont go too often to the performing arts center but my family and I were able to get last minute tickets to Aladdin the Broadway musical. We had a fantastic time. We could see the whole stage from our seats. The performance was incredible. Definitely recommend you attend any show at the Dr. Phillips center for the Performing Arts at least once if you are in Orlando. (We sat in row L)

The Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center is always clean, even the bathrooms! Security check point isn’t a hassle to get through and the staff are helpful and friendly. Concession stands are on every level near each door and packed with good selections of snacks, coffee, tea, beer and wine. I love the stadium seating, because no matter where we have sat, we have had good non-obstructive views. This is the third show we have seen at the theater. We’ve seen Beauty and the Beast, Hamilton, and tonight was the kids’ first Broadway — Aladdin — they loved it!!!

The Dr Phillips Center is a gorgeous state of the art space for different performance arts. The main venue, Walt Disney Theater, is a stunning venue that is home to the Broadway shows that travel through Orlando.Having been to 3 shows within this theater, I can tell you that the balcony serves one of the best views of the stage and performances with little to no obstructions. The seats are small, but comfortable enough to sit through a 2 1/2 hour performance. It being a theatre does offer concessions; however, just like all else in Orlando, the prices are a bit high but not too terrible. The alcoholic drinks are usually perfectly strong enough to make you content. In conclusion, Dr Phillips Center is a great venue offering great views, great show offerings, and a great place for community.

We had nosebleed seats, but still had a great view of the stage. Screens were set up so that you could view the performance easily from a normal angle. The tester is gorgeous. You feel fancy just being there. I absolutely love the decorating. The staff were very friendly and respectful. Well done, Orlando!

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is a cultural icon which makes The City of Orlando, specifically downtown, proud. Only a few years old, with modern architecture, composed of clean lines and lots of glass, the Performing Arts center is lovely to behold. I can only imagine how lovely it is for the performers backstage, as well as staff and volunteers who are in plentiful supply during a show. The lobby is stunning! Airy and bright, with a sweeping staircase of the most beautiful wood. I wish the bathroom fixtures graced my own home. The Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater, where the ‘This is My Brave’ event we attended was held, was very state of the art and down right cool. It is an intimate space, where metal rails and riveted dividers make one feel as if one is in a dimly lit space age movie. There is loft seating, and, unfortunately, the stairs to access them were also metal. This, added to the many folks who, as people will, chose to come and go during the show, was very distracting since the stairs were directly beside the seats, not behind.

The SHOWS here are Magnicent! 5 Star or beyond. The venue is striking & beautiful. 5 Stars or better. Staff nice...BUT the actual Dr. Phillips Center Management has NO concern for people with disabilities or allergies. We are Celiacs, they have NOTHING safe in so far as snacks. Brought this to managers attention LAST year, who said it would be fixed, NOTHING HAS CHANGED.You cant bring in stuff thats safe, & they cant offer any apparently. Ocala --- tiny Ocalas --- Reilly Center has safe offerings. Why cant a big place in a major city NOT?!?!?Simply because management doesnt care... Sadly

I got to see Hamilton on 1/20/19 and it was my first time at this venue. The building is absolutely gorgeous and the facility is well designed to handle sold out audiences like the ones that show up for shows like Hamilton. The interior of the theater is modern yet warm, utilizing various finishes and textures to create a gorgeous surrounding. This is a wonderful theater venue that anyone visiting Orlando should be sure to check out.

Good Experience. I went to go see Aladdin last night, and it was just great! The place is so clean with great employees and nice bathrooms. The theatre’s are so nice, and seats are very comfortable. The only problem I had was that they told us that the doors to the lobby would open at 6:00 and actually opened at 6:30. It was cold outside so we were all waiting for an extra 30 minutes out in the cold. But overall a great experience. Definitely would go again.

Great venue to see a concert in. The only issue is the staff themselves. I saw a group 2 years ago and got yelled at by some rude woman for using my phone to film. BUT everyone around me was doing the same thing and did so through the whole show. And nothing was said to them.

First visit to this magnificent theater. Thursday nights performance of Aladdin was lovely. The performance was 5+☆☆☆☆☆s, the 4 tiered venue was one of the finest Ive attended theatre in. Broadway-spoiled, the seats & aisles more spacious than Ive experienced; the beverage & snack bars were above average in quality, quantity & service; PRICES BELOW Theatre goers expectations! A nice plus; the only reason this was NOT a 5☆ review...the LATE CURTAIN CALLS! I have been a Theatre Buff for almost 40 years, Ive NEVER arrived for a performance late knowing the timing of Theatre is set in stone. Not so this performance. Curtain went up 11 minutes after the 8:00 p.m. showtime. The 10+ minutes IS NOT THE ISSUE, I could care less! It is the lack of respect for the art and experience of a live performance.Tsk, tsk whomever is in charge of stage production! This is a BROADWAY SHOW, folks. Would that happen in ANY NYC theater?

Weve been going there for three seasons of shows (three years) and everything has always been high quality and amazing. Theyve gotten better quality at the bar food, however it is still expensive, and it is easier to park in the parking garage next to the sunrail tracks and then walk over on the sky bridge but Ive never had a bad experience in over three years. Every kind of show (from Jersey Boys to Hamilton) has always been handled accordingly - adjusted lines, more signs, extra staff, etc.

First rate as one would expect. The entrance to my seating, any detour would result in significant delay. The bartenders that I patronized were efficient and professional. My drink of choice is a Presbyterian. Few bartenders are familiar with the drink: not surprised. The let down was the selection of bourbon: Makers Mark. I have no complaints for Makers Mark, the but, the amount of money spent on a double Presbyterian; I expect minimum Knob Creek. The design of the theater, no obstruction were notable. The seats were smaller than what I am familiar with, will not present a problem if you are of average size. The bigger you are the more uncomfortable it will become for you and the person sitting beside you. A big person? Aisle seating if available. The mens restroom was clean, well lit and all stalls and urinal operational. The theater has an intimate setting and the location in one of the most beautiful central business district in the country makes a night out a guaranteed success. The sound system for both acts were superb.

So first I would have given 5 stars for the facility and staff except the the fact that the beverage and snack prices, even though i would expect them to be top price, are over priced. Someone needs to review the licensing agreement with that vendor and the profit margin required versus a price gouging approach. Everyone pays a lot to attend events there so lets just be a LITTLE more reasonable with beverages and snacks. All that said, the venue is always super clean, pristine experience and helpful staff whenever you need any assistance or information. The security screening process works to be as quick and low key as possible. I personally really appreciate the staffs approach to quick service to ensure everyone can move in quickly and be processed and secure.

I don’t have much to compare in regards to how the shows do compared to other theaters, but I think the space inside is great. We have season passes and they are well worth the money. It’s a great date night, I just wish the drinks didn’t cost as much as they do. It’s probably the most overpriced drinks in all of Orlando. I love this venue. The stadium-style seating in the building is well thought out and built to where even in the nosebleeds you can see as well as you can at that point. The website for booking also works well typically. Prices are usually pretty reasonable, too. Definitely disappointed that they have an algorithm on the website that will not let you book seats if it leaves one open seat in the row. Very frustrating and it doesnt make sense to me, as I believe the number of seats in the first few rows is an odd number, which means you will always end up with one empty seat somewhere if it is booked up by all couples or even numbers. They should change the website to not do that.

Awesome performance of every dancer.Security was brutal and unapologetic. The prices of the refreshments were astronomic.I couldnt explored much around, but the little l was able to see was very modern, clean and and big spaces. The personal at the theater was really wonderful and gentle. Hopefully l will be able to go again. When arts are so expensive and the place too, this really makes more difficult for the people to participate and get more educated going there and how to behave. Because the theater is not a bar on the streets. Its a place were we go to get educated and have fun at the same time Especially when this is not Europe where we can fin arts in every corner.

Its a very simple location to get to: we just followed the GPS which takes you straight into the valet line. Parking was about $27, but worth it to avoid the difficulty of parking in Orlando, which often means youre fairly far from the venue. The entire event was well staffed, the bathrooms were beautiful and expansive with no lines because there were so many stalls, and we had no trouble finding our way around.
