I had an appointment with Kaylee to get my granddaughters name added to my wrist tattoo, as well as my favorite saying on my forearm. She verified the spelling of both and correctness of the quote. Found a font similar to what was used on my wrist tattoo and sized the name to match. The place was very clean and she went above and beyond to ensure covid protocols were adhered to. I felt safer there, than most public places we visit daily. She has a very light touch and I barely felt the tattoo being done. I will be going to her for all my future tattoos. Please note, that I live in the California Bay area. So this statement speaks volumes. I have family in the area and hope to make an appointment each time I am in town.

Love this store. It feels so personal. Went for a tattoo with Kali (who is amazing by the way) and became a customer. Its a two for one shop. Their crystal jewelry caught my eye. Got a cute butterfly wing necklace. Back to Kali.... Shes a great artist and she really enjoys her art. Dont sleep on her!

This is an amazing shop. My girlfriends and I love the items in the apothecary and the prices and quality are the best in town. Heidi and Kali are so knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect tincture or crystal. The shop is more like an exclusive salon and the tattooers make you feel welcome and comfortable. I got work done here almost two weeks ago by Kali, she came highly recommended and her work on Instagram speaks for itself. I told her what I wanted and it didn’t disappoint. The shop itself has awesome decor and even has a little shop inside. When I got there they even asked if I wanted something drink. Having work done by kali was a pleasure, she had told me to book three hours and finished in half of the time. She’s very friendly and didn’t mind me talking my ear off. Definitely looking forward to get another piece done by her. Also wanted to add she wore a mask the entire time and the place was very very clean.

BEAUTIFUL SHOP! I did my research before choosing a tattoo parlor, and I am SO glad that I did because I had the best experience!! My grandma (who is 82) and I got matching tattoos with Michael and he was so amazing! It was my second tattoo and my grandmas first so we both were a little nervous, but Michael took great care of both of us and both tattoos are absolute perfection! We both got script writing and the lines are so perfect we love them so much! Everyone in the shop was so kind and helpful when we had questions! The shop is super clean and has a calming environment which made the experience even better! 100% recommend this shop and if I get any more tattoos I will definitely be going back! Thanks so much!!

Michael did my first tattoo and it came out amazing. I created something in my head that I wanted and he was able to make it come to life. I’m still so in love with it. I get complimented on how flawless it is every time someone sees it. The line work is incredible. The shading is perfectly done. Everyone in the shop is so talented. I highly recommend this shop to any and everyone wanting to get an amazing tattoo done by amazing artists.

This was my first time visiting Strega Apothecary and Tattoo. I too wasnt familiar with what actually goes on in an apothecary but after getting a brief tour and hearing an explanation I felt the need to share. The amount of detail and diversity in the shop is striking. You can tell just by walking in a lot of time and thought was put into making the environment feel positive, organized, but eclectic at the same time.My tattoo artist Kali did an awesome job with helping me go over my ideas and different things that I could do. She was extremely informative and thorough. If youre looking for a new tattoo I highly recommend visiting her and Strega. Her work is impeccable and she never once made me feel uncomfortable with what I was looking to create.

My wife and I got tattoos a couple months ago in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. No masks were required or anything abnormal. It was just my wife and I with the artist. After my wife got her tattoo, I decided to book an appointment the next week. Again there were no masks or anything special. It was just us and the artist. The artist promised that there would be free touch ups and to just DM on Instagram or email the shop. My wife and I noticed some areas that needed fixing/touch up on both our tattoos after they healed. We reached out to him several times with no answer. We then emailed the shop several times and they said that the artist moved to another shop and that the agreement was made between the artist and us. I proceeded to say that there was obviously some mistakes and he represented the company to which they recommended the artist to us. The shop then said they are closed due to COVID-19 and will reach back out whenever they do decide to open. They were open during the pandemic and now they want to cover their own self by saying your not open anymore? Waste of money for tattoos that have mistakes. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Your artist represent the shop. When there are mistakes being made by an artist and you dont want to rectify it and just keep my money, then that says a lot about you and your business.******Update********Miss Heidi reached out and was very professional and apologetic. She invited my wife and I to come in and actually made the tattoo look better then the original work done. They let go of the employee who dismissed us. Overall great customer service and would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great tattoo along with amazing customer service. Miss Heidi even offered another touch up free of cost if we chose too come in again.

I got tattooed by Kali and I can’t even begin to explain how talented she is. While there, we had a conversation and she said she’s been tattooing for only about a year, but her work speaks for itself. It looks like she’s been doing it for years. Plus, her table manners are amazing, and you don’t feel judged while you’re there with her or just in the shop in general. I haven’t ever felt so at home while getting a tattoo. I recommend her to EVERYONE, and will never go anywhere else!

I could honestly write a novel about how wonderful of a tattoo artist Kali is. Ive been going to her for the past six months and almost have a complete sleeve by her. Her artistic ability is UNREAL. Not only is she talented and knowledgeable - she is so incredibly kind. Ive been to various other artists/shops, but none have even come close to comparing.
