Nice park. I play dosc golf here often. Good shade so summer time isnt terrible. Seems to be up kept well.

Scera Park, including the Scera Shell, pool and theater has been providing low-cost or no-cost entertainment and recreation to Utah County for as long as I can remember. I give it my donations, my patronage and my good word-of-mouth anytime I can.The concerts, the musicals, the theater, the pool, the Disc Golf course, the facilities, etc. are all well-kept. When charges are required, they are affordable.I have nothing but good to say about the Scera complex.

Has a drinking fountain and bathrooms in summer season. Great big field to play in. Disc golf course. Big pavilion. Lots of playground equipment and swings. Monkey bars. One of my kids favorite parks.

Beautiful park. Lots of space. The disc golf course is really short and easy, but its still fun. Great choice for beginners. There is a lot of open, grassy areas and a nice playground. It does get pretty busy though.

So the annual Orem summerfest was a blast. Over a hundred cars. Free food in sak lunch. KUDOS. Ice cream and popcycles. I saw car that I havent seen in decades. I love the volunteers. Kids chalked sidewalks. Park. It was so great to SEE people again. Even though 90% were masked. Loads of fun. Cant wait until next years summerfest.

First time coming here to bring my kids given that we are visitors. It is kid friendly, fun for all ages and there are different things to do for all ages. There were lifeguards on duty, alert and aware of everyone at the pool which was plus to me. Clean and well maintained. Military discount and I rented a floater life jacket for $5, because this was just a last minute outing. I would definitely recommend this place to families with multiple children and especially families with toddlers who are learning how to swim. My 17th month old baby enjoyed his day, wished we came earlier.

Possibly my new favorite park. Sorta tucked away, you dont realize how big it is until you go walking around. Awesome community events at the outdoor theatre as well.

Beautiful grounds, a top-notch disc golf course, great playgrounds for the little ones, and a huge, well-lit pavilion, good for group barbecues or to host a bunch of small picnics. The crown jewel, is an outdoor theatre, the Scera Shell. Perfect venue for live performance, and open-air film screenings. Theres even a recreational pool, suited for all ages.

This city park is centrally located near the exact center of Orem. There is a large grassy lawn on which to play or there are a couple of playgrounds. There is a nice path which winds through a portion of the park. There are picnic tables. There is an outdoor theatre in one area of the park, so if you are there during a show, the noise can be distracting. Overall a beautiful park.

Lots of open grass, multiple frisbee good holes, nice public pool for little ones (costs), and 2 playground areas (one of which is newer and in great condition, one is getting a bit older and showing it). Not been too crowded, and people Ive met there were all very nice.

One of my favorite community places in Utah County! Nothing quite like watching a play/concert/movie under the stars. Phenomenal acting at Scarlet Pimpernel tonight. And concessions are so inexpensive! You can get a combo meal for $5.50 and everything else is $1-4! Grew up coming here and just love it.

This area was amazing. The park and the green space (w/ frisbee golf) were top class! Then there was an outdoor theatre, an indoor theatre and a water park as well. We didnt visit/use every resource, butt we would happily go back to this park at every opportunity

Pet friendly, has 2 play grounds for the kids and lots of field space for picnics and gatjerings.

It was a great place to lay down and take a 15-minute nap.

This is an awesome beginer course for any would be disk golfer.

Has a couple of great playgrounds for kids to play at as well as a short disc golf course thats great for both beginners as well as more experienced players.

Absolutely love this park. So many wide open spaces. It also has one of my favorite disk golf courses around. A few of the pads and markers need to have a touch up though

This park is great. We only stopped to eat our food in the pavilion but will definitely be back to play. There was even a disc golf course!

Beautiful park with multiple playgrounds. Fun disc golf course, and plenty of space to run around. There are pavilions for BBQs and public restrooms as well. The outdoor theater there is a really fun date night/family activity.

Really clean and surprisingly quiet for its closeness to the road. I feel safe there with my kids.

Scera Park has such a good variety. There are several play grounds including a recently updated one. There are fields for many different sports or activities. The Frisbee golf course is a very good time. Lots of parking options unless the Shell has an event.

Great place to let the kids run and play. 2 different play sets on north and south of the theater. Bathrooms available but i didnt use them. Very pretty and lots of shade. It could use a couple benches around the new play equipment though. Baby loved the swings

I cant say enough about this park. I was traveling through the state with my dog. I like to stay in Orem because its outside of the city and its a bit easier to get dinner before I get to my hotel or a coffee and gas in the morning before I hit the road.This park is great if you have dogs, kids or just want a nice spot to sit and be in the shade. Its a great place to go to the bathroom if youre a traveler. And they have a kids water park. It looks really nice. But i know nothing about tbe costs, etc. And they have disk golf if you have yoir disk and want some exercise before you head out. They have covered picnic benches.. parking is easy.This is a must do if you want a nice break.

This is a great park for multiple reasons. There is the outdoor theater that gets crowds every night it is open during the summer. There are 2 nice playgrounds for your children. I usually come for the disc golf. There is a 9-hole, beginner-friendly course that features many straight, easy looks at basket. Just make sure you are aware of where the baskets are. Placing your blanket in the way of disc golfers isnt a good idea...

They have lots of options and the park is big enough for everyone to social distance... Which I did before it was cool

Scera park is always a fun time. There is lots of grass space, mature trees for shade, and more than one playground. There is also an outdoor ampitheater which is nice too. If you get bored of the park or need to cook off it is near a swimming pool as well.

The Scera Outdoor Theatre is super fun! We go there all the time to see things.Go early for good seats.

The park is beautiful and majestic full of large trees with plenty of shade. The park is busy but not overly busy considering where its located at.

This place is huge and green and very welcoming! There are picnic tables, benches, lots of grown trees, and green grass as far as the eye can see. It curves around and there are two big, fun playgrounds. My kids felt like wed gone to a theme park. One playground is perfect for kids of all ages and another is very tall and suited toward older or more adventurous kids. FYI, if you want to spread a blanket for a picnic, be warned that the sprinklers shoot far!

The fellow cleaning up the pine cones one by one was the most inspiring art instalation Ive ever witnessed.

Orem, Utah has very large parks and this is a great place to let kids run around, play on the swings, slides, etc. Nicely mown grass, etc. shows the city cares.

This park is the perfect place to exercise, play, ride a bicycle or just to rest under its abundant shadows; to this is added the amphitheater and the pool.

This is our go to pool for sure. The kiddie pool is seriously the best! We have a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old and both always enjoy being here. The kiddie pool is the perfect depth to sit and lounge with the little ones or to let them play around on their own. My little one loves the little slide at the edge of the pool and never gets tired of it. It is always clean and has plenty of space. Sometimes you have to keep an eye out for any available chairs as those run out quickly. They sell pool toys and floats, and have a nice snack bar. Prices are expected for a pool snack bar, a little higher than usual, but still worth it. Overall we’ve have pleasant experiences here.

It is highly possible they have a grounds crew or something, and in that case, they made the park a great place to visit.

If you are a disc golf beginner or want to take a group of people out to disc golf but are worried that people might get upset... This is the park for you. The park has a relatively open course with few trees and no water which are a disc golfs 2 worse nightmares! I’ve played the disc golf course at this park at least 100 times and haven’t lost a single frisbee yet! To avoid little kids running around I suggest to go in the morning till 3pm with the children getting out of scoop then. Plenty of shade and good vibes!

The park is great overall, but they really need to figure out their sprinkler system. Dead spots and mud puddles are too common.

This is a great park, has two playgrounds, one is more geared to older kids and the second to the younger. Also has a disk golf course that is very well liked. This park also has lots of trees making it great for summer picnics.

Lots of space, parking, fun playground for kids and the pool is big and beautiful.

One of the nicest parks youll ever go to!

One of my favorite Disc golf courses for ease of use and fast enough to play on my lunch break. When my son gets done following us, we can transition to the playground equipment. My family also enjoys the 4th of July celebration every year as well.

I love this park so much! They have awesome playgrounds that are so different then an ordinary playground! It is a nice place for a quick walk. 10/10 recommend

Gorgeous park. Lots of parking. Big playground. Picnic benches. Some pavilions if you need cover. Lots of shade trees. Big, clean public bathrooms with flushing toilets (in the amphitheater building, but with doors on the outside).

Great park in the center of town. My son loves coming here. Tons of grass and trees to run around and shaded so you don’t get burned.Only problem is they water the ground in the middle of the day when your taking you kids over there to play so you have to keep moving to keep dry

I really love this family friendly neighborhood park. It has everything youd want, large open green space to walk, run, toss a football, or throw a frisbee. It has two large playgrounds that our kids practically grew up on. The park has several pavilion areas, bathrooms, and a walking path. Lots of trees for shade, and the city maintains the park at a high level. Always clean and groomed.

Came down to see the final nights performance of Beauty and the Beast. This was seriously so much fun. My boys had a blast watching as outdoor play on a blanket under the stars. The weather was perfect and there is not a bad seat in the house. You can see the stage from every angle. Great setting great performance and a definite must do again with the family. Highly recommend coming to see what the Scera has to offer.

Mother Nature at Her BEST

Even though the pool was crowded, we had a blast. The kiddie pool was great with the buckets and waterfall, and the slides were nice to go on with my niece. The 4 stars is because the pavement itself was kind of rough around and in the pools, and all of us had pretty scuffed feet by the end of swimming.

This park is a perfect place to bring your family to picnic and enjoy several other activities including 2 separate playground areas ( recently upgraded)and if you bring these items you can play Frisbee, fly a kite, tight rope, swing in a hammock, croquet, corn-hole, soccer, fly a drone ect... Also enjoy their 9 hole Frisbee golf course that is fun and exciting for anyone!

Really enjoy this park! Would give 5 stars but Parks and Rec took almost all of the garbage cans out of the park, except the near the parking lots. Ive seen an increase of litter since there are fewer garbage cans.

Caught quite a few squirtles in this park. Last time I went back it was only bidoofs though. 1 star off because who cares about freaking bidoof?... Oh, uh, right. The park is cool too. Lots of play ground equipment and places to sit and stuff...You know what, if you just wanna forget I left this review I would totally understand.

Best beginner disc golf course

They let me in free cause I was an old man and in a wheelchair. The food and snacks are really good priced! Id go again!

Fun place. Very large shallow pool with lots of room for lots of kids. Fun lazy river and two slides. Lap pool and diving area also. Tables and shade areas also.
