We were looking for a museum close to home and googled up Orem Heritage Museum. Nicely organized and clean, well marked exhibits of the Orem Utah area including Native Americans, early pioneers, etc. We appreciate the history, clothing, tools, and military uniforms etc. Awesome dioramas too. It’s an amazing selection and the director says he has so much more to display if he only had room. We recommend this to everyone.

This museum is a great treasure of our community. Ive taken scouts there for the last nine years and just had another outstanding tour! I always request Gary Campbell to be our docent. He is so great with cub scouts and older kids as well. He is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. His first hand experiences and personal belongings make this experience extra special.

We arrived around 4:45pm. There was not a car in the parking. I went to the door, it was unlocked however there were no lights on. I suppose we could have come in and found a light switch and showed ourselves around.

This place is a hidden gem! I came here with a group of cub scouts and Al Anderson gave us a fascinating tour, and since he is a veteran of the Korean War he told us about his experience and patiently answered many questions. I came back on Friday with my son Isaac and met another veteran named Gary Campbell. He served in the Vietnam War and he shared so many interesting insights and stories with us. Both Al and Gary are gracious tour guides and this museum has a wonderful collection of local heritage.

Wow, I took a group of Webelos to tour the Orem Heritage Museum today. It had been a few years- the last time I went, the museum was located in the upper level of the theater next door. The historical value of this place and the knowledge possessed by our fabulous tour guide certainly merit a unique location. Mr. Campbell was such a good speaker- he imparted to the boys a deep love of country, love of God and love of his fallen brothers; both from his own family, and his company in Korea. I couldn’t recommend his tour of this museum or his presentation and speaking skill more highly. Learning what he had to share makes me proud to be from Orem and proud to be an American.

A great museum! The old seminary building looks pretty small but it is so full many things to learn and so many artifacts! I definitely recommend it. The hours are a little wierd though so I would definitely check the website to make sure it is open.

Waited for it to open despite the hours saying it should be open, but turns out they didnt have thier correct winter hours posted. As nice as they were, the staff in the office didnt realize this and kept suggesting he was on his way. After an hour wasted, I found out they wouldnt be opening the door for another two hours. Well meaning staff, but a bit disorganized?

Museum is located inside the Scera Center for the Arts. Has great memorabilia donated by the families of locals.
