I LOVE this place! This is my favorite ice cream place I’ve ever been too! And I love ice cream from all over but this place is just different, the ice cream flavors are so creative, unique and fun, but the best part is it’s so so creamy, you can tell it’s homemade & has high quality ingredients! Also the workers are so friendly, they literally brighten my day with how happy and charismatic they all are! The owners are so nice, they stayed and chatted with me and were so kind to even throw in an extra complimentary scoop to our order so we could try another flavor, and btw it was amazing! I never leave reviews because I’m just too lazy and usually don’t think it’s necessary but this place deserves it and I want everyone to know it’s amazing!!! If there’s a business who cares about their customers and deserves support, it’s Brookers!

My wife and I shared the 5 flavor sampler, we felt like it was a good size for the $11 price tag, and the staff was helpful and had a good attitude. The ice cream itself was fine, not great. The fruit flavors that I tried (strawberry and blackberry in the picture, but I also sampled peach) were fairly weak flavored, I could barely taste the fruit in them. They werent bad, but I wanted more fruit flavor in them. My favorite was the green mint chocolate chunk, but there was so much chocolate and it was so thick that I was usually left with a mouthful of chunks and didnt get to taste the mint too much. Overall, the ice cream was just fine. I will say that Im very disappointment from seeing how much negativity comes from the shops responses to unfavorable reviews on here, I find it extremely unprofessional.*Edit* the owner saw fit to respond to my review with an essay on how my opinion is objectively wrong and nonsense, further proving my point of unprofessionalism. I definitely wont be giving this place my business, purely due to the sheer amount of narcicissm and personal attacks in their response. One star quality ownership.

We’ve gone to Brooker’s multiple times and their customer service is great! They have quite a few unique flavors along with a fun “Founding Fathers” theme as well. The ice cream is great quality as well, very flavorful and plenty of flavors to choose from!

I highly recommend you support this local business! My boyfriend and I stopped here today on a whim and it exceeded our expectations. The ice cream was delicious and the chocolate waffle cones were next level. Beyond that, it is so refreshing to see a business embrace and teach the laudable principles our country was founded on. Thank you for uniting your community and not giving in to those who seek to divide us. This place is straight-up FUN. The theme, flavor names, atmosphere—everything. And the ice cream is great!

UPDATE: they resolved the issue we were concerned with. We went back since the owner reply and the cookie dough no longer has the salt issue. Very happy with the ice cream we received.Their ice cream is amazing. Their shakes are the best - still tastes like ice cream, just easier to ingest through a straw. Best consistency Ive ever seen on an ice cream shake too.ORIGINAL:We used to love coming here but recently theyve had issues with adding too much salt to their ice cream. The first time it happened, we called in and found that several batches had excess salt but they were waiting for people to call and complain. I can understand that.My concern is that its happened again. Same ice cream - the cookie dough one - was over salted on a order placed a week after the above incident. Hopefully it was the only one. Unfortunately, its a favorite in this house.

This was my first experience here. Animatedly delicious ice cream. The kids got cotton candy (of course) and I got the Mint Chocolate Chip. Wow were they both so good! I even tried the kids one and was surprised how realistically it tasted like spun sugar instead of just being nauseatingly sweet. The chocolate chunks in my ice cream were huge and soft and down right decadent.In summation, if you want to gain three pounds and have absolutely no regrets afterwards, this is the place for you.Also, I loved the themed uniforms for the employees. They looked great but their customer service was even better!

My first time trying Brooker’s when they first opened was extremely terrible. I felt like I was eating straight whole milk. I hated reading all their ridiculous flavor titles + descriptions. I was mad that everything was so fancied up, I just wanted something simple. So we never went back.Well, the other night my husband is desperate for some real ice cream & wants a curbside service so we decided to try Brooker’s again. I tried their simple strawberry & it was really good! Nothing like before. My husband has their “mint chocolate chip” version & it was also really yummy, although a bit chunky for my liking. Both my kids enjoyed their cotton candy cones. I’m glad we tried it again & I can definitely see us going back.

Amazing creamery! Fantastic service and atmosphere. Although the naming of the ice creams are super creative, they can be a little confusing and overwhelming at first. This doesn’t stop the ice creams funny, historical naming schemes from being fantastic jokes. Highly recommend, but getting the smallest size available, unless you have a tremendous appetite for cream!

Amazing!! Local shop and brand. They have the largest selection of creative ice cream flavors (32+) and ice cream desserts. Their ice cream has 16% buttercream which is what makes it so rich, creamy, and addictive. The entire staff are all so welcoming, energetic, knowledgeable, and helpful, and you can sample as many flavors (as needed). Definitely a must try!

Great place to get ice cream! I loved the ice cream and the colonial atmosphere. The mint ice cream was different than I have had elsewhere and wasn’t my favorite, but I loved the three other flavors that I ate. I have one beef... the names of the ice creams and sundaes on the menu are so stinking long that it distracts from being able to read what flavor you are actually getting. I have posted the menu so you can see the names. There is a lot of fluff before you get to the actual flavor. Even with that, I will still go back and eat here again because the ice cream is amazing. I love that even on a small serving they can give you two different flavors for your bowl.

They have really tasty ice cream here. They atmosphere is fun, if a little silly. The staff dresses in colonial era costumes. The biggest downside for me is the fact that they are very busy most of the time. This causes slow service. They also dont have a true drive-thru, which looks a little shady.

This place really blew my mind. Great flavor selections some of them quite bizarre very good ice cream. Everyone is in character with costumes and decorations. I felt like I stepped back in history in some Boston ice cream parlor. I highly recommend.

I was called a troll, when I was merely going through Google suggestions to rate places Ive been before to help its recommendation algorithm. Not cool Brookers. Your ice cream is merely okay and both my wife and I dislike that none of the flavor names are descriptive and that we have to read a paragraph to figure out a single flavor. Deciding is hard, and were rarely satisfied. There, now you have some written feedback.

I loved the atmosphere and the location so close to BYU! Very informative and proud about their ice cream. 3/4 workers were helping and getting customers their orders but one of the workers was leaning against the counter on his phone the entire 30 minutes we were there. I just feel bad for the hard working employees and I thought management should know.

Great ice cream place! We were a bit overwhelmed with the menu when we first walked in and feel bad that we had to keep asking the staff to taste different ice creams, but they were super nice and very willing to grab them for us. The naming conventions were quirky, but too long to say when you ask for a sample, but it seems like the staff is used to it. All the ice cream is homemade in house and you can taste it! The flavors were delicious and I would definitely recommend for anyone that is looking for ice cream in the area!

Im all about REAL ice cream. I dont visit the artificially, cheap flavor parlors. I stopped in today to give Brookers a try. And WOW. OMG, these guys have the craft down. Im very disappointed to read these 1 star reviews they clearly dont understand dairy and cream. I must say, ive only tasted a few Parlors who can even compete on this scale. This is more than Ice cream, this is a lost art. Im proud to give Brookers a 9 Star review if I could. We heard that this place was good so we thought wed give it a try. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We ordered two kids ice cream cups and 1 pint of ice cream. We picked up our order curb side. We got what looks like one kids cup of ice cream when we ordered two and a pint of ice cream leveled off at the lip of the cup with no spoons or napkins. Nothing what the website shows. Very disappointing! Then, as we were eating our ice cream my wife found a hair in the middle of the ice cream.

This place is the BEST! They make their flavors everyday and throughout the day. Their ice cream is made with quality ingredients, too. So fresh, and sooooo good! Great customer service. Love the names of the ice cream flavors and how they dress the part of being in the 1700s. Definitely recommend!

The ice cream here is really good. My personal favorite was the butter cake. The only thing I would suggest is reading the menu online before going. Some of the ice cream names are really long and the menu as a whole can be a bit overwhelming to read, especially if there is a line behind you. The staff are dressed in character, and extremely friendly. The decor of the shop is modern, but playing strong tributes to the historical theme of the ice cream.

This is such a fun place. My friend and I just did the drive through that they have set up right now. I love all their fun options and the costumes that they wear. I was skeptical about a new, fancy and expensive ice cream place in the valley because the last few Ive tried have been good, but underwhelming. That said trying Brookers did not disappoint. Theyve got lots of fun flavor combos including some quirky ones. Tastes special. Reminded me of the good ice cream spots Ive been to in Portland and Denver. Not quite as edgy from an ingredient perspective, but quality stuff and a great taste. Its still expensive, but its somewhat justifiable because for once, its actually really good.

I usually dont stop to try ice cream shops because there are so many out there, but when I saw Bookers today I knew I HAD to try it out!! The concept of combining history and ice cream is so cute and fun! The employees are dressed up and have friendly service, the flavors are creatively named (I enjoyed the Constitutional Crunch. Who would have thought potato chips tasted good in ice cream?) and taste great. If youre a history buff at all, you must try this place out. You will enjoy every bit.

The flavor in question used to be my favorite from them and I enjoyed it somewhat regularly for over a year. Ive complained each time Ive gotten overly salted ice cream and theyve made it right each time. The first time they said they were aware that a new employee had put in entirely too much salt but wasnt sure what was impacted. However over the course of nearly a month you would have thought they would have gone through and checked the batches that they could have messed up before subjecting their customers to this unfortunate salt bomb.Beware Thomas jeffersons Declaration of Cookie Dough around time of publishing this review unless you want salt with a bit of chocolate and cookie dough. Hands down my favorite ice cream here in Utah county. 4 stars out of 5 because trying to navigate their shop is terrible as they are always super crowded, a lot of people arent familiar with their flavors so the wait can be long, and once you get to the counter you feel rushed to hurry up. But in these covid days I am usually ordering door dash and have always had a great experience.

Top Tier Ice Cream!!!! I ordered through DoorDash for my friends and I. They had the Alexander Hamilton’s NOT throwing away my scoop. They said it was delicious. I ordered the Give Me Death or Give Me Chocolate VEGAN Ice Cream! and I also wanted the Strawberry Guava Vegan Ice Cream so I left a note in the app because it didn’t let me select an option for two different scoops. They read my notes and sent both flavors. They were delicious!!! The strawberry one was very fruity and fresh. The chocolate was VERY dark chocolatey and thick. Perfect for chocolate lovers. I heard about this place while in Tennessee. When I had the opportunity to travel to Utah, Bookers was on my short list of places to visit. I was not disappointed. We came with a group of 12. Everyone was very satisfied with their choices. The ice cream is Rich, Creamy and clearly made with the highest grade products. The kitchen is behind glass and open for the public to watch each flavor being mastered. My dad always said, You get what you pay for and this is the best! The best atmosphere, service and ice cream. So, expect to pay a little more. The flavor titles are very creative and the explanation of ingredients is clear for each mixture. Bring a camera because this is a place for memories. When I return to Utah, Bookers will be back on my list!

I showed up there with my fiancé in tow literally as the gentleman was locking the door at closing. Well, it was quite impossible to NOT notice us. There was no one else around, not even the wind blowing.As if fate struck, I made eye contact with the guy locking the door. We then tried to read each others intentions: Does he want ice cream, is he going to leave? Will he serve us? Or, will he tell us to leave? Right about then, like a steel cable exceeding its tensile strength, our brief gaze was rapidly broken as my fiancé hopped out of the car and ran across my view and up to the door to ask him very nicely if we could grab something quickly.He thought about it, then said they WERE closed after all, then thought about it some more...and then agreed! He was such a genuinely kind person. He said hes went up to a place right as they closed the door, and the guy who locked it was quite rude about it. Almost laughing about his unfortunate mistiming. He said he didnt want to be that guy. He wanted to be the opposite, and the opposite he was!He let the rest of the employees leave, he did NOT rush us (we were out in 10min anyways), he offered samples of practically anything I mentioned that sounded good , and he even took the time to tell us about the ice cream- why its different (AND SO GOOOD) and the history behind the store, etc.Oh, and did I mention this was my first time here? The ice cream is amazing and the regular service is great, but we ordered for curbsidepcurbside through Door dash, and our order was 20 minutes late because my husband had to go inside and then wait in line because no one acknowledged him standing and waiting for our ice cream. They hadnt even checked the online orders. my advice is to not even bother doing curbside pickup and just go inside. BUT WEAR A MASK PEOPLE

The chocolate with dark chocolate ganache was amazing. So was the 10 other flavors I tried. Devin was amazing and really knew his stuff. Ill definitely be back and will be bringing others.

Come with extra time to decide on a flavor because all the names are different than a regular menu. If you just want to experience the place, a small cone is $3.75 and is a decent size. I have one pictured that my wife and I shared, with the salted caramel flavor. Brian, the owner, stopped by our table to introduce himself and was very friendly.

The ice cream was amazing! It was way too hard to pick a flavor so we went with the Continental Army Sampler that came with 5 flavors of our choice. The customer service was great. They made sure we were able to sample any and all flavors. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. We highly recommend and will be bringing all of our friends and family to enjoy.

I recognize the importance of keeping the line moving though.The size of the samples were tiny compared to Rockwell’s as well.The quality of the ice cream is great, but all of the options have so much going on. I wish they had a few simpler options (like vanilla with cookie dough) for “purests” like me.I’d definitely recommend this place though and would like to try a few more flavors.

It’s a fun travel back in time. All the staff is super friendly and wearing colonial-era clothing. The ice cream is not only delicious, but also has crazy names in tribute of someone in American history. They make tiger cones in house. There is a movie megaplex nearby; if you go after a movie is getting out, it gets busy, but if you go in the afternoon, it’s usually not crazy.

You will be singing Stars and Stripes Forever as you sample the many different varieties of ice cream they have to offer. Patrick Henrys give me liberty or give me death chocolate is indescribably good. They even have two dairy-free ice cream options so they are mindful and hospitable to those with this concern, and they are good too.

I haven’t met owners of a restaurant who care more about their business, product and their customers than the folks here do. I’ve only met Mrs Brooker Ice Cream but she makes you feel like you’re family. She spent probably 10-15 minutes explaining flavors and giving samples to us (the place was empty but she still was extremely nice). And the ice cream is truly the best ice cream in the world. The banana foster is the bomb.

You want some dang good ice cream? This is where you go. If you want a cheap option, you may want to go elsewhere, but if you want top tier premium ice cream even above the level of Cold Stone (in my opinion), look no further. Large flavor variety, and tons of options. Also, not just ice cream. They have other dessert like crepes that I havent tried yet, but do look forward to doing so. Plus, thematically, this restaurant is super aesthetically pleasing for the 1776 theme.

The unique flavors of ice cream - although they are hard to remember.2. While there, we looked up the story of how the shop came to be. Pretty interesting.3. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience here. A lot of times places like this focus so much on a gimmick theme that the actually quality of the product is marginal at best. Not in this case. The ice cream itself had unique flavors, came across as high quality, and was priced fair enough we’ll go back. Add onto that the fun environment, attention to detail on naming the flavors and the decor, and you have yourself a winner. Even though they were busy the service was fast and friendly. We even talked to the owner who’s from Virginia and has a legitimate connection and knowledge of the founding fathers theme. Especially great for families! Highly recommend.

Fun place! Great commitment to the American colonial theme. And very creamy ice cream! I large variety of unique and traditional flavors. Ben Franklin raspberry, Patrick Henry chocolate or death, Abigail Adams salted crack cookie all very good.

Super creamy and delicious ice cream that is made in house by the owner! Everything is colonial America themed and there are very unique flavors. We got the John Adams’ ooey gooey butter cake and Abraham Lincoln’s new birthday cake of freedom. Honestly, I’m looking forward to coming back here and trying even more flavors but I’m going to get the 5 flavor sampler! I mean honesty there’s not a better way to try it all

What a fun little ice cream place! We were dying over the funny/interesting ice cream flavor names, and the atmosphere is just a few levels below Disneyland for me (Im a Disneyland freak, so thats a very high compliment). All the staff wear Revolutionary War-era costumes and are super friendly. Its still a relatively new venue, but Id say it has the feel of a place that promises to become a solid tradition for a lot of people.
