Its a beautiful park. Very spacious. Unfortunately, The cement plant right next to it just kills it. There is a ridiculous amount dirt in air and I am not exagerating! The park reaks of fumes from all the chemicals they use to make the cement with. Whats really worst is I dont think the park visitors realize these fumes arent not only healthy to breath in and Im positive they can xause cancer with time. The park looks nice but that cement plant next it is most likely a silent killer. Im shocked the city allowed this to happen.

A very nice little park in the city. Green and clean. Playground with updated things as well as the common swings. Two baseball greens, basketball, tennis, and path to walk around. We love going here to play and hang out with friends. Decent bathrooms too! Eating area and building to rent as well (pretty pricy though). Even a new free book box.

I went to Orange last Saturday, Steve Ambriz Memorial Park is a very very big park in the downtown of city. It looks like Beijing Olympic Forest Park.I like the lawn, a lot of children play on the lawn.Just sit on the lawn, feel relaxed.

This park was always very nice, and I would give it 4★★★★ if they still had hot water in the restrooms. They had really nice no touch faucets, with water that would get warm (after enough people used it) eventually, recently these faucets have been replaced with the typical push down faucets that are ice cold and are frequently found in public schools or parks that are not as nice. The toilet seats also appear to have been downgraded to old scratched and stained ones. Nice things I can say about this park: • there is usually plenty of parking both in the lot and on the street• restrooms are always clean and stocked with toilet paper seat covers and soap• there is a changing table (in womens restroom)• lots of seating (although its not shaded)• not too crowded• park is always clean• people at this park are friendly• convenient location just off Lincoln, East of Batavia

Tried to take my LO here yesterday, but it was pretty crowded and only a couple of people were wearing masks. It just wasnt worth the risk.

This park is fantastic, the only suggestions I have would be to recommend a turf infield, or maybe some better drainage for these fields. It would take clay and additional dirt to raise up the fields and you would have a 5 star field. Ample parking, nice basketball court.

Tucked away in a nice little neighborhood. 3 diff sized play areas. Nice walking path. Community room and free library box located by the rec room. Nice clean bathrooms

Really nice fields! Bathrooms are pretty clean for a public park so double thumbs up! Parking is plenty. I love the super extra tall fence to protect the cars from balls.

A nice clean park with ball fields, tennis courts, and a great playground! It even has a little box where people can leave books theyve read and borrow ones that have been left by others. There is not much shade yet as the trees have not matured. Bravo City of Orange! This park is great!

This park has a pretty clean & well-maintained playground area for kids of all age groups. I bring my 4-yo kid here and the kid gets exhausted after playing at the three different playgrounds (toddler section, little kid section, & big kid section). Theres also a tennis court, basketball court, and a baseball field. Its not as pretty as Tri-City park in Fullerton or Eisenhower Park in Orange with not enough trees and no lakes or ponds. Its decent enough & I come here for the clean playgrounds & close distance.

Best park in the area. All the equipment is kept up well

Really great spot to walk your dogs have a picnic and have the kids run around the playground.

Quite and no street people or drugies

This is a great place for parents and grandparents to bring their young children. The playground has a good assortment of equipment, the surface is padded. I walk laps while my granddaughter plays. Parents tend to be friendly. My granddaughter (6) and I always make friends while she plays. There are 2 wonderful baseball/ softball fields well lit every night. There is a trail for walking around them or out to the river bed trail. 2 Tennis courts are also available. This is the best community park Ive seen in the entire north orange county area. You and your kids will feel very safe here and enjoy clean restrooms as well.

Beautiful park. Was there for a memorial softball game. Very clean. Large play area thats gated in which I really loved. The restrooms were well maintained. My only complaint honestly was the smell of burning rubber once in awhile that the wind blew in from the factory behind the park. Wasnt enough for me to leave though.

The playground is fenced. The park and playground is well maintained. They have R/R,s, tables and benches and shade trees.lots of kids and friendly parents.

The park is great and clean the only problem is that the homeless have found it and try living in the handicap stall of the mens bathroom. Also you might want to check before your kids go in alone because there are care givers that drive the special needs people to use the bathroom so alot of times youll walk in and see a grown man naked and changing his diaper in the middle of the floor. They also mess on the floor sometimes and the caregiver dont clean it. You know the normal stuff you want your child to see at the park. Other than that its a great park.

Quaint park in a beautiful neighborhood. Basketball courts, softball fields and an open field for play. There was plenty of parking available in the lot and looks to have plenty of street parking as well.

Clean park, clean bathrooms, has a playground for kids, softball field and a book donation box. Always enjoy coming here to play games on the weekends

Clean, up to date facilities. New playground equipment. A very community oriented feel and usually full of nice kids, behaving well and supervised by adults. Has a great small loop of sidewalk around the playground for little ones to ride their scooters, and a bigger loop going around the entire park for bigger kids on bikes or just to walk or run. Also has a Gym for Pokemon Go players. ;)

Nice little park. The only problem is the asphalt and concrete recycling center and pile send dust to the park, and there may be fleas in the grass that you may wind up bringing home.

This park is in a residential neighborhood and has a ton of open space, modern play equipment, and ample parking. On weekdays the park is relatively quiet, but come the weekends, sports teams fill the fields and it gets very busy. Im always impressed by how clean things are kept, including the bathrooms that have warm water, soap, and a changing table. I wish there were a little more shade over the play area, but all the other features make up for it.

Took my nephews here. They played for an hour and didnt want to leave.

One of Orange Countys Best parks so far. Very safe for children though no waterworks, its one of the most popular especially for family gatherings like parties.

Every time that I leave a lady friends place for some reason I have to use the restroom I go over to Steve Ambriz s Memorial park and some times I will sit at that baseball park and watch a game

Park has lots of things for kids to play on, some tennis courts, baseball fields etc. Its nice enough and within walking distance of some apartments which is nice for them. However theres some kind of mineral mine really close by...which usually isnt an issue, but when I was there yesterday the smell was noticeable in the air. it was that smell of fresh asphalt. i wonder if it gets worse when temperatures rise.

This place is the best park by our house. It has great shade for all the big toys and awesome softball diamonds. The restrooms are clean as park restrooms go. Everyone I have met here are super nice.

Wasnt this place a quarry at one time? It makes a nicer park than it did a hole in the ground. It was a pretty nice hole tho.There is a Little Free Library in this park. It is a free book exchange. Got one / give one. Awesome idea.There is a cleverly-placed geocache in this park. Awesome hide!They have spacious and clean restrooms in this park. Lets be awesome and keep them that way!

Such a cute park! Not too big but it has nice areas for kids to play in, a baseball diamond and a fee basketball courts. Over all a nice quiet park

It consists of 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, and if Im not mistaken, 4 softball courts. Its located in a quiet neighborhood and theres an awesome playground to bring your kids to. Plenty of shade and a huge field to play any kind of game.

Wonderful park to walk the dogs, jog, play tennis our basketball, bring the kids or picnic.

Im disappointed that the lights on one of the tennis courts did not work. So 50% of potential use is gone. Half to wait for the lone functional evening court. Please repair.

Awesome little park. I reccomend going during sunset. The rock quarry next to it creates a surreal backdrop.

Its local, private and great location for either a birthday party or even a reunion. Basketball, baseball and tennis courts available. The playground is amazing, safe and matted instead of wood chips.
