Great hike! Lots of steep hills and loose rocks and some point. Did ok in sneakers but if youre klutzy like me Id wear boots. Dont follow the Google directions theyll take you to a school where there is no access point. Park off of Canyon and Stillwater. Lots of lizards and some birds. Lots of cactus

Ive walked/ran this trail since around 2012. Three hills that will forsure get your blood pumping, each summit gives you an amazing view over OC, and on clear days the ocean is visible.

Nice hiking trails. Parking can be tricky. Steep with loose rock, dirt and gravel. Amazing views, many people seem to go right before sunset. Lots of prickly cactus.

Neat trail and the payoff for a relatively short hike is a wonderful view across Orange County. Only drawback is you have to find street parking in neighborhoods.

Super hilly and uneven terrain. Not any easy hike but is rewarding with great views of LA/OC. Says its dog friendly but a lot of cactus on both sides of trail, as a heads up. Be careful on the downhills. Easy to lose your footing .

Nice hike up a few hills. good view that stretches to the ocean. parking is a bit hard to find though, across Cannon street parking. the neighborhood across the trailhead is private and doesnt allow public parking though.

Very nice view for the sure footed and able bodied. Take water and a shade hat. My Schnauzer had to be carried a while due to weeds and thorns. Be aware of the prickly pear along the trails . Beautiful views and breezy up on top. Park in a neighborhood and walk up. Probably 45 minutes minimum stop here.

Best place to see a great OC view at night. Lost one star because they finally put a sign up saying closed at sunset.... but I see people still going at night anyway. Use common sense!

My boyfriend and I have visited this trail at least three times since moving to Orange county, and I think it is our favorite trail so far. We always park in a neighborhood near the Stillwater and Cannon entrance and hike from there. The first hill is brutal if youre relatively sedentary and always seems longer than it looks from the bottom but its a great workout for us and our puppy. We usually come by around sunset and the peak has a great vista over the city of Orange and beyond. There are three different hills to hike; if we dont have too much time we usually go up just the first one but the entire trail round trip is not more than an hour and a half at a relaxed pace.

Beautiful view, some trails are steep and rocky, but passable for anyone that can walk well! Lol... a couple climbs will really get your heart rate up, but I wouldve taken small children up here and not been concerned about them getting up here. There are 3 hills, walk them all, its worth it, then rest up taking in the scenery before hiking back to wherever you managed to find a parking spot! I used street parking in the little subdivision below at Stillwater and Cannon Sts... :)

Review №47

The view from this place is amazing on a clear day! If you start from the south side of the hill (cannon st and stillwater ave), youll have no problem seeing an easy panoramic view of orange county. If you continue on from this point, the slope is very very high on the way up and does in fact tire you out by the time you reach to the top. Also, be aware of the cacti and the loose rocks, it can be dangerous and narrow at times espesially on the second hill. Like some one else below said, theres absolutely no shade so do bring a hat, umbrella, ext....but its also very windy once youre at the top so keep that in mind also. Overall great place for a view and/or hike! Area of Difficulty: easy to moderate
