This is the VIP of Border Crossings for Nexus card holders only. Its so short, quick and easy that you might forget youve even entered another country. One little lane across the bridge to one little border guard in one little booth. It feels so private and you will feel special crossing here, LOL!

I love this Nexus only bridge. There is no wait, but you must have a Nexus pass to use this bridge. I love the view underneath with the rapids too. This is a quick alternative to the other USA/Canada bridges, but requires a Nexus pass. If you dont know what a Nexus pass is, dont use this bridge.

Attention!Remember that this US-Canadian border crossing is for NEXUS cardholders only. That being said, frequent and prescreened user will find this bridge a welcome landmark for crossing back and forth.Lineups and heavy traffic are rare here, so your wait times are mostly minimal if any.

Whirlpool Rapids Bridge is a bridge that you can see the Niagara River. Its a border crossing so its staffed with border control police. Its what one would expect to see when your entering or exiting the country. I had the pleasure to walk down there and talk to one of the officers. He was friendly and showed me what i was looking at answered all my questions. It was obvious to me that they didnt get walkers/sightseers very often, they mostly deal with vehicular traffic coming and going. As i said, the officer i met was really cool but, his boss wasnt as cool. He made me leave. So just be aware that the bridge isnt really for sightseeing.

The pre-paid toll system is confusing. You have to load money on your nexus card before crossing into Canada. I wouldnt be surprised if they get many people wondering why they cant cross at the gate. But a very convenient bridge crossing for nexus holders. Short and quick at the border patrol areas.

Nexus card holders ONLY. Not open 24 hours a day. The fastest border crossing ever. Even when there is a Bills/Sabres game the line up it is real fast. Used it for over 10 years and never had more than 2 cars in front of me.

To access this bridge you have to be a member of Nexus. If you cross the border into Canada via Niagara Falls frequently this bridge is highly desirable. I cross about 2 to 4 times per month, and Ive encountered only a short delay very infrequently. Most often there is no wait at all. For NY Easy Pass members the toll is automatically paid. For others, there is a toll station outside the Nexus office. The hours are restricted. 7AM to 11PM.

One of my go to bridges when going to Canada as with being Nexus cardholder it streamlines border crossing 10x. Will admit though with how frequently I cross I still get the once over pretty hard from time to time but no where as bad as the Rainbow bridge. I know the agents have a job to do but their could lack the attitude a bit especially with frequent crossers.

Niagara Falls has tons of potential, it just needs confident leaders who actually care about the city and the residents there in.The roads are neglected, and money isnt budgeted properly. Once these issues are address, as well as the condition of the city as a whole... Itll be a much better place to live, work, and play.Watch out sitting politicians, here I come and things will be changed. Guaranteed.
