We really enjoyed the experience flying over Niagara Falls. We were able to sit in the front and it was just us two alone with the pilot! It was amazing and a very smooth flight. 100% would recommend.

It was really a great experience! staff was so nice to us and all the safety protocols are followed! the best thing about the ride was our 2 month old baby was able to ride with us during the trip! 5 stars!! my advice is that people who wants to ride the helicopter tour is that they should call first before they go because they dont fly when the weather is bad! thank you again niagara helicopters!

WOW! The experience was incredible!The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The ride was for about 10 mins . I was the only one that morning so I was like a private helicopter ride, for the price of 150 it’s definitely a must !So cool viewing the falls from above .I have been on helicopter before , this was a much different experience but super cool !I just showed up and was able to go right away.The staff was so nice , got to bring my GoPro on the ride .I would really recommend ️

It was a nice smooth ride, it was a really windy day and it was still smooth! Of course beautiful view! Everyone was very friendly, seat and doors were wiped down after every flight. Pilot was great! Would definitely recomend the experience!

Had such a blast doing this. Safe and clean, especially during covid. Staff was very friendly. From take off to landing its about 15 minutes long. Doesnt seem like much but it feels longer. A really awesome way to take in the falls from a different view and perspective.

Absolutely wonderful! Of all of the experiences in Niagra falls, Canada- this is by far one of the best! Must do activity. Its a bit pricey but well worth every penny. The people are kind, attentive, and informative. The view was unparalleled to any other throughout our trip. Absolutely amazing!

If you’re lucky enough to get a window seat you get an incredible view of the falls for just a few seconds and I was fortunate enough to get a couple of great photos. The people in the shop are very friendly, however the folks helping with herding everyone to the helicopter are fairly rude and impersonal. That includes the pilot who barely said hello before the recording explaining the tour and sights started. Even with the views, as short as it is I wouldn’t do it again. If it were at least 5 minutes longer I might consider it again.The helicopter is clean, modern and. Very safe, smooth ride.

Great experience. We were lucky as there were not many people. We had to wait only 20 mins and we were in the air. I thinks the trip should be only 15 mins but we definitely spend more time in the air, or probably I was dreaming. To view the waterfall from birds view is just amazing. Do it if there. It is quite cheap compare to other helicopter flights I have been to.

Took the ride with my 2 cousins. There was also a couple and a single woman. The couple got the seat in front and we 4 were smashed in the back seat. I was fortunate enough to get a window seat, but my 2 cousins in the middle didnt get to see much of anything... Would have been cool that one of them got the front seat, for we paid just the same as the couple, but had not the same opportunity for pics.. I asked if we could get 1 front seat, but was told that the pilot decided... Apparently he decided against..

Had a great time on this Helicopter Tour, long line but worth the wait. Staff very professional and courteous, Penny that works behind the counter even called a cab for me. Now thats service, even with all she had going on she took time to help me.

Me and my family were on the helicopter ride on 10/5/2019 and we had a blast, pilot was very nice and professional and would explain everything into details it was 4 of us, my kids were in the front seat and they loved it. The staff was very friendly, especially the front desk crew since they had 100+ people at that time and they had everything under control, they were very professional and when we got our pictures staff was very friendly as well. I do recommend this place highly and will be back in March of 2020

It is hard to get appointment but worth it!

The ride was really nice, but the stuff does not care who gets a good view.We got placed in the middle and left where 2 children got placed in front and the father to the side window behind.Basically couldnt see too much or take the good shot, as the pilot also did not fly around 2 times and we only had the chance to see one side....

Quite pricey, but well worth it. Hoping onto the helicopter will probably give you the best view of the Niagara Falls.

Couple of issues, I took my guests who were visiting from over seas to experience the fly over Niagara Falls. Everything went well till they wanted to take pictures with the team and the heli but to my shock they were rudely pushed away and the crew blocked them purposely and started pushing them towards the exit!!! I even recorded the whole incidence and was shocked to see how they handled their customers. And when we were guided( pushed) towards the picture studio we were offered only the printed copy and not the digital ones to purchase which costs around the same when we called later if they had them. I called them again for inquiry to which they said they can see what can be done because they aren’t sure about the issue and to call later!!! what’s the point of going all the way there when you can’t even have memories of the place and are not allowed to even take pictures!!!My word is be aware of some aggression when done with flying!!!

Fantastic experience worth going, even for the price of $115 each person. I am a cheapskate but this was one of the best ways to experience Niagara.You buy a ticket and wait your turn. REMEMBER TO CHOOSE CAD instead of USD if you are an America... the vendors unnecessarily charge 4.99% for conversion... which isnt their gig, and theyll even tell you to choose CAD. Everyone is super friendly here. The gift shop is pretty generous and has a lot to choose from.When it is your turn, you will be guided step-by- step to the helo. They will have you turn around and have your photo taken before you step off, so be ready for that. Then theyll take you up for a quick 10ish-minute circling of the falls. Have your camera ready, and if you have a dSLR, try not to sit near the window OR not have your 70-200mm out... I had to do some creative snapping because the WINDOW literally got in the way. There is a recording that plays to tell you about the falls and its history. No hearing protection required, but it is a little loud without it. You will fly over the falls, the industrial areas, and get a very nice view of the whitewater rapids as well as the industrial area and the tourist trap at Clifton Falls. Get your snaps/video while you can.The pilots are expert... they do this every day, many times a day. They land very quickly and without any issue. I love it.Again, highly recommended.

Our party chartered a ride for Fathers day. It was a pretty cool experience however we wished they had gone fast for a stretch like Good Morning Vietnam! The tour was a pre-recording and the pilot doesnt engage you at all. Although our ride was chartered, we had to wait for 2 other groups to go first, which doesnt seem fair. And they didnt take any pictures of us on the ground like the non-chartered riders. When we went to purchase pictures we were told that they were told not to take pictures of our group which seemed odd. When we tried to take our own pictures, the ground staff was rushing us along and blocking our shots which was bothersome. If youre trying to decide between something adventurous to do, choose skydiving, you go much higher and the view is even vaster and without obstruction. Just my 2 cents.

Helicopter ride and the people were cool. The only con was the Asian lady in the picture shop. Impersonal and rude. Needs a reality check or needs to lose her job. She would not answer to basic questions acted stuck up from the moment she saw me and my family. Not very appreciated.

It was a great experience!! I had booked the airplane flight over Niagara but the plane was out of service. So Ian messaged me ahead of time and was willing to give me the helicopter ride instead without any additional cost. Ian made our booking and reservations extremely easy. The helicopter ride was smooth and the perfect amount of time. If you have it any longer, you may feel nauseous given how much the helicopter turns. The line-up to board the helicopter is about 30-45 mins long but its worth the wait. They have several helicopters running at the same time. Great experience overall. Highly recommend.

Didnt even bother waiting so probably unfair to review with 3 stars but be warned, this is a popular spot for flights over the falls and waiting in line for over an hour is not exactly appealing, especially when youve got an international flight to get to and its roasting outside. Probably my fault for not allowing for the wait time and maybe it was a bad day crowd wise but a little disappointed having come all the way from New Zealand.. Id either recommend a private tour or planning well in advance should there be 5 buses of tourists waiting !

It was a great experience flying over the falls in a helicopter. I experienced this with my wife from the front seat and the pilot was very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who has the time and opportunity . We have to wait 20 min but it is very fun and you get to see things that you normally don’t see on “fall level.” A must try if you want to see the whole Niagra

On the bright side: nice views guaranteedOn the not so bright side: from the 12 minutes advertised (these minutes include the boarding time, the real flying time was 9-10 minutes) everybody has a good view on the falls for about 20 to 30 seconds. That’s about it. If they would make the flight 3 minutes longer and stay these minutes at the falls, then it would be okay. Oh, and the helicopter was much higher than it seems on the ad photos...So... I’ve had much greater flying experiences

It was a great experience flying over the falls in a helicopter. I would recommend this to anyone who has the time. There usually is a small wait but it is very fun and you get to see things that you normally don’t see on “fall level.” If you are nearby try it and see for yourself.

BEWARE!!!! They want to place you in a helicopter with other people because their helicopters seat 6! After paying $300+ for 3 people, I would like to have the option of whether or not I want to be a helicopter with other people. The girl at the front desk told me I would have to purchase all 6 seats if I didnt want to be in a helicopter with other people. Ive never experienced this, as this is not my first helicopter ride. Needless to say I got a refund!

Absolutely amazing experience. I would say it is really worth the money. It is a little far from the falls, so you would have to drive or taxi to the place ( roughly 3 miles from the falls). Prices at the location are very expensive. Plan for purchasing online e.g. I used Expedia.

We stopped by on the way back home and the entire family enjoyed this experience. The helicopter is enclosed and seats 7 passengers. It was a great experience seeing Niagara Falls from a helicopter. Make sure you check for coupons as we saved about $100 by doing so. Also check on any tours scheduled to come through-it can be a 15 minute wait to over an hour. Definitely recommend if you want to spend money on a helicopter ride and a nice view of the falls - memorable!

It was awesome. My daughter and I got to sit upfront because we where smaller. I guess they seat you by weight. We lucked out but the people in the back seats, especially in the middle where not too happy. Kinda made me feel guilty. Maybe middle seat people should get a cheaper rate or something because it really isnt fair for them to pay the same rate and not get to see anything. Also they took pictures of the flight but again, I felt guilty about it because they where all of me and my daughter. They take pictures of the whole group but I didnt buy that because it was people I didnt know. But they where buy 2 get one free and thank God not taxed because Canadas taxes are outrageous. Anyway, I know this company is in a hurry to load everyone up and send them on their way but perhaps take seperate pictures of families In front of the chopper, Im sure they would sell more

A very disappointing experience.The helicopter is configured as a car with two passenger seats in front and four in the back. The view from the rear middle seats is much less than from the other seats, yet all seats have the same price.Our company of three arrived first of all in the morning. We were first in line and expected to get good seats. However, the staff person gave us one window seat and two middle seats, all in the rear, while the other group of three, who arrived after us, got two front seats and one rear window seat. Waving my arms to communicate through the noise I tried my best to argue but to no avail. The staff person, incommunicado in his hearing protection, refused to understand my gestures and no changes were made.The helicopter is reasonably quiet inside but still noisy enough that one must yell to communicate. No hearing protection is provided. Passengers are treated to a recorded narrative that is distributed through the cabin from a loudspeaker. We were unable to understand this narration.Having flown over New York City by helicopter, we expected a more democratic seating arrangement with window access for all and to get headphones through which to listen to and communicate with the pilot. Not so.Seeing the falls from the air is fantastic and the helicopter company provides a safe platform for doing so. But no more. What they provide is transportation, not a high-quality experience. Make sure that you negotiate the seating arrangements while waiting in line and do not expect any information while in the air.

Very impressive experience, well worth the money. Very well organised but also popular, so plan some waiting time, for us some 40min on a Saturday lunch time early August. Maybe luckily for us there was no bus tour there! ;o)

Very disappointed! My husband and I were very excited for this ride and couldnt wait to get on it....We were there first week of October so the tickets werent that expensive (around $100.00). Waiting time was kinda long but since we were never on a helicopter ride we decided to wait. Crew members seated all big people (including my husband who is 6ft tall) on the windows seats in a back and they had me (5ft tall) in a middle in a back. I was super disappointed because I didnt see anything. I would only do it again if I was guaranteed front seat since Im so short.

I had to scramble to get a helicopter ride after the other tour operator cancelled on me, and i really appreciated the no reservation policy of Niagara Helicopters. It can be a little confusing as to what you are supposed to do, and the line can be up to an hour, but it is fun to watch the copters take off. We were fortunate that being a party of two, they pulled us out of line to fill a helicopter, and our wait was less than 15 minutes. They move you in and out fast as they have multiple helicopters loading and taking off, but the crew is great and efficient. It is a little hard to be warm and fuzzy when it is so loud and windy and the crew has headphones on, so I dont know why people are dinging them for politeness. I thought they were great, and I really appreciated the flexibility of being able to show up when we wanted to. The flight was beautiful, and yes, it was short, but really, compared to most helicopter flights, it was fairly cheap, and what more do you want to see? You get a great view of the falls. I hated being shoved into the picture buying room at the end, but hey, that is what all of the attractions do, so it is no biggie. I highly recommend them, and look for coupons on line, or at the hotel tour desks. I also recommend doing it towards the end of your trip if you did the falls from both sides and as extensively as we did, because it is cool to see from the air all of the places that you went and know what you are looking at.

An amazing experience at an affordable cost.

Absolutely worth it! The best way to explore the Falls. We took the heli as a part of our bus tour, so there was a discount. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it paid off. Luckily there wasnt a long queue. The wait time was roughly 15-20 minutes. The only downside is that you cant really pick your seat (as the only guy with a proper camera, they gave me the middle one).

By far the best way to view the falls. The helicopter we rode in was very clean and mechanically sound. The pilot was skilled and very professional. I lost my sunglasses inside the cabin at one point, and the ground crew went out of the way to bring them to me when I was in another part of the building. I highly recommend going in the off or shoulder seasons if you dont want to sit next to a stranger.

It was an amazing experience, although the expectations are usually bigger. The facility itself was crowded, one washroom was locked out, with the avaliable one being gross and smelly. The helicopter feels safe and looks neat, but be prepared to share the ride if youre in a small group. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are not reasonable, we payed $60 for 3 digital copies.

Was very disappointed, we were a group of 8 so they decided to split us in to 2 groups and add a couple (that we totally understood) our surprise was when we got on we wanted front seats and the staff were soooo rood that they did not let us take it! They way you are treated it’s bad, the ride is not worth the money at all, they don’t get so close to the falls as we expect and at the end the 8 of us work in the aviation industry so we were very disappointed. I personally recommend the experience but NOT WITH THIS COMPANY. We actually felt ripped off.

We come sit and watch the helicopter every week with my 3 year old son as he just loves watching them take off. Yesterday he finally decided he wanted to take his 1st ride with his grandma ( this is HUGE as he is scared of everything), I cannot tell you how amazing ALL the staff was to them to make this a special experience for him. Pretty bad experience. Took the flight technicians who put you in the flight just .02 seconds to ruin the whole experience. Its amazing that me and my wife, there on our honeymoon patiently allow a whole tour bus to cut us off and get in front of us in line. Then go from a 30 min wait to, who knows how long. But as we waited patiently on the trip we could see the last two parties of each group of 6 were always selected for the front seats. Well, up until it was our turn. When the flight technician decided he would choose two different people he felt were more worthy of the front and stuck me in the middle. I wouldnt be so pissed if there was consistency instead of the technicians discretion. Especially since its luck of the draw, would be different if we had tried to manipulate the line or screw someone else out of it. After all that waiting we just happened to be lucky and be the last two of our group all that for just a slap in the face. Couldnt see anything worth while from the middle seat and the technicians seems to pride themselves on being terrible at their jobs. Wont be using this service again or recommending it to anyone else. If you can find another business Id highly suggest it, Im sure youd get more for your money. Ill probably be challenging this one with my credit card company. Total rip off.

Very well run, efficient, organized. There were several tour buses there the morning we visited, yet we only waited about 15 minutes. The helicopters are beautiful, and although the flight was only about 12 minutes, it was fantastic, and seemed long enough. The photos they took, and we bought, were great.

Great views, however it was fast paced. Air time was only about 10 minutes. The seating was 2 in front (next to pilot), four abreast in back. The ride was surprisingly stable even though the wind was blowing pretty hard.

The service was great. The view was amazing. Definitely doing this again in the future and I would recommend this to anyone who visits the falls.

It is one of the most amazing experience ever. The pilot was very friendly and the view omg it was surreal. I found a coupon so I got 58$cad off for the two of us. We spent 222$ for two and 25$ for the helicopter photo. The staff was very nice . Luckily we were the only two at that time, so we sat right beside the pilot which are considered the best seats and they were !!! It was like a private tour for us and unforgettable view it was. Niagara falls have never been so beautiful .

This an awesome time you get to see the Falls and surrounding area like no other way you get a new perspective on the area and you see it a way you could never get walking biking or driving and not to mention the thrill of flying in a helicopter just try to not get stuck in a middle seat cause you dont want to miss any of the views it maybe a little expensive but its worth it and theyve also got a great gift shop and the staff is really great the pilots are some of the best and knowledgeable and the ground crew and shop staff are all very polite and helpful

Would NOT recommend. Came in and was told they still had tickets available, the wait was an hour, and to just step into the ticketing line. We were excited but as soon as we stepped into the ticketing line we were told that apparently there was no space left for the day because a group of 55 people had reserved all the tickets (even though they said they didnt take reservations when we had called earlier in the day). We said we had just been told literally 2 seconds earlier that we could definitely get tickets. They said it was because the first staff member didnt know about the reservation? Poor communication between staff members and rude ticketing staff made for a horrible experience at this place. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere.

They have a really short and good tour, but their prices are up to the sky and they are not organized seats for tourists thats why always would be a problem on the fro t seats.

1- The ride was OK but does NOT worth the $ you pay. 2 people and under 3 years child ($353). Expensive 12 mintues ride.2- The photo they take for you are so expensive as well. $25 per photo. Really. NO Thanks3- the kids that work there to guide you to the helicopter not helpful and rude.4- If you go on summer expect to wait more than what they tell you. If they say 30 mintues expect 1hour. Because they need your $$$$$. And dont care about anything else.And of course if you have to deal with rude people before you take off expect Not to enjoy it.Never again

Me and my friend went there to have a romantic ride and ended up paying full price even though we went up with 4 other people. I was stuck in the middle seat next to a crying baby. worst time ever! I would suggest picking a different helicopter company to enjoy a ride with!!!!

If you want to pay over $100 to ruin your day, this would be the best place for you. I had a terrible experience there. The workers are shockingly unkind. I dont even understand why they had to put me and my parents into the chopper unnecessarily quick. We didnt know what to do because wed never been there before, yet they seemed annoyed of how we were in confusion. We just looked around standing still for literally 2 or 3 seconds in front of the chopper, hoping they will guide us somehow, but it seems like they couldnt even wait for that short moment. They just tried to shove us into the chopper, and we had no other choice but to follow their direction because they looked so urgent. I nearly fell on the ground when one of the workers grabbed me and tried to put me in.
