Did the tour here. Excellent and extremely informative. One of the most famous venues in the world. As a boxing fan, this was very interesting for me. Got to look in the changing rooms, and the skywalk overlooking the whole place. Also got to see inside an executive box. All in all a must see for visitors with an interest in sports or music on a trip to NYC.

We have been going to The Garden forever! I went with my parents, now with my own kids! Its a great, clean, safe place to enjoy a game, see Sesame St Live, a favorite holiday show, a concert or even PBR, which we attended most recently. Most any seat is a great seat so dont worry if you are upstairs. You will still have a great view. There is plenty of food and drink choices so you can enjoy your event the way you choose. If you are visiting from out of state there is parking extremely close and lodging surrounding The Garden. Any way you cut it, Madison Square Garden is a fun place to visit when in NYC. To locals its a must do!

The Mecca of basketball may look old on the outside and the Knicks may not be playing the best right now, but watching a game here feels special. I watched one of the last games played here in March before the league was shut down as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, it was rocking inside even though the Knicks lost to the Jazz.

If live sports ever come back, catch an event at the Garden. Nothing will top off a New York trip like catching some hoops here. If you want to save some cash, bring a pair of binoculars and you will be set. As a non-NYC sports fan, there is still so much to appreciate about this venue. It’s almost like stepping inside a sports time machine. This is a definite recommend by me.

Great venue to see concerts as most seating has good views. If youre not super tall I recommend staying off the GA floor and go for tickets that are in sections 116 - 118 / 106 - 108, 210-212/ 223-225 for best views. Also good for NY Rangers hockey games.Sound is good except if youre far away or high up but thats a typical law of physics and sound travel. The only downsides are exorbitant prices on beer and snacks. Like $12 a beer I believe. Gouging!Tip: dont hang around when the show ends. Get to the nearest exit ASAP to avoid being stuck like cattle on the stairs. Youll still have a crowd but early birds suffer much less!I recommend this venue!P.S. ENTRANCE IS ON 7TH AVE BETWEEN 31ST & 33RD ST.

Welcome to the garden. It is a phrase I heard over and over from the friendly staff. First ever trip to the garden and first NBA game, blown away by both. The recent renovations done to the building look amazing and walking the concourse is a real treat. It is a building littered with history and they celebrate it properly.Everywhere you turn there are plaques and display cases beautifully done showing all the history. Show up early if you want to walk around and get a view of everything.Food options are out of this world, I lost count of the different vendors on the main concourse after my first trip around. They give you giant beers, giant smiles and a gigantic show. If you visit NYC you should be making one trip to MSG to see something.

Awesome place!!!! I grew up taking trips to the city to see the New York Rangers play. We went this past year, 2019, and had a blast seeing them play the Vegas Knights. The concourse is also beautiful - more roomy than I remember is growing up. Will absolutely be coming back here. Would love to come for a concert!

Review №51

Absolutely phenomenal arena. It is indeed the world’s most famous arena, with the ability for both concerts and shows and sporting events as they are on different floors. I have only visited for sporting events, but the food choices are very unique and good, and the prices are surprisingly comparable to other arenas throughout the league including back in Washington, D.C. The ticket prices are some of the highest in the league, as the franchises for Knicks and Rangers are both the most valuable in their leagues, whether they deserve to be or not is another question. The shops are abundant, and the 100-level section does not have a bad seat, but I cannot speak on behalf of the upper bowl or Chase Bridge.Be prepared to spend quite a bit of money here, but I would say for the most part it is well worth it, particularly when the Knicks or Rangers win. I would recommend seeing a game outside of the holidays, as that gives Chairman Dolan the green light to raise the prices to much more than they should be going for. Penn Station is just below the arena, making it one of the most accessible arenas in the world. A cheap shuttle train can be taken from Grand Central to MSG or you could walk around 20 minutes around Bryant Park to get to the arena and vis versa. Plenty of restaurant options nearby that are good to stop by before the games, concerts, or shows or afterward. The best arena in the world in my opinion.

I felt a little small here especially when in the main arena. I wasnt really paying attention to the game but I am checking out the space in the middle of the Manhattan. There are so many empty seats. I am sure if you dont like to be at your spot, no one really care where you actually go. I think its good for not so important event.I didnt get any food here because we know the game starts slow. Do get a meal in ktown and pick up a happy hour drink because coming in. You will avoid the crowds. I think thats why my experience was really good.Exiting is very well organized. I didnt get step on or got lost. There are so many steps thou.
