Wonderful dance installation, great staff, unisex bathroom, and great programming in the Theatre.For me definitely a great place for the New York Dance Comunity.

I recently had the opportunity to attend an evening of the Women Create Dance series, and it was splendid! This venue does an excellent job of promoting culturally salient work. Youll leave with many topics of conversation.

All the performances here are very good!

Just saw Jack&, a great show and extremely provocative. The acting was spot on. As for the theatre, I liked the seating....finally an off Broadway venue with leg room, wide seats, with clear sight lines. It also has great acoustics. Being a person with mobility issues I was still able to navigate the steep seating arrangenents with relative ease. All in all a great space for live arts. I hear they do dance....Ill have to check that out as well. If you take the number 1 train downtown (back of train) exit at 19th Street and youre only a half a block away.

All goods. Good staffs, good place. Only thing is its no shoes studio. Just FYI here.

Very nice views are afforded by steeply raked seats, which are very upright and not entirely comfortable.

This is one of the best performing spaces in the city, the sight lines are good from any seat. Contemporary dance at its best

Went for your going dance performers.Nice theater and seatings but hard to figure out seats numbers first time. The middle is in the hundreds numbers while sides are on units but it would help to tell patrons that one side is odd numbers and the other side pairs as moving in the dimmed light alleys stairs to check seats was hard and many people were stock on the stairs waiting for the right timing to switch all the way to the oppposite side when they were send on the wrong side! :

Bill T. Jones serves as Artistic Director of this downtown institution: its a comfortable space for performance. They program really interesting and often avant garde work. Feels well-run and well-kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would be happy to see more at this venue.
