Debatably one of the best theaters in NYC. Being in the heart of time square, its perfect for when taking guests to a show. I came to see Dear Evan Hansen here recently and had a wonderful experience. My seats, although up top and behind a control booth, couldnt have been any better. I got a perfect view of the entire stage and and overall great time. Obviously the show was incredible itself but the intimacy of the theater only added to making me have a memorable time.

Very nice and well kept theatre! Even in the very back I had a good view of the stage, and the sound system is superb! They use live music for when I went to see Dear Evan Hansen and I would love to come back for more shows. The staff is very friendly and the building is easy to navigate.

We went and saw Dear Evan Hansen. The play was great. The theatre however, must have had the AC break because everyone was sweltering hot during the performance. We sat on the very last row (Row P seats 2 & 4) of the orchestra section and they were amazing seats! They were also cheaper seats than other sections.

Sweet little theater, excellent performance of Dear Evan Hansen. One note, there are no elevators and very little assistance above the orchestra level for anyone with a handicap, such as a fractured bone in the foot. My wife and another woman we met during the show were significantly impacted by the steep stairs and lack of awareness.

Great entertainment. Did not like that people were allowed to purchase tickets and stand behind us, and yes we were on the last row on the main floor. I just believe I paid good money, for people to be breathing down my neck, thus 3 stars.

This was the best theatre Ive been to. Even the top level with the cheap seats had its own bathroom, water fountain, and merch table. The soft chairs and decent space between the rows made for a thoroughly comfortable experience seeing Dear Evan Hansen.

I loved the show it was perfect. I was in the second row and the cast was perfection. I had never seen a Broadway play and after this experience I love it. Music is a passion of mine. When I got home I could only listen to the songs I kept singing them repeatedly. It was a dream come true. I even got a souviner. I wish I couldve met the cast in person. All in all I loved the messages the story tells. Hopefully Ill be on that stage singing Waving Through the Window.

This theatre is amazing. My wife and I saw Dear Evan Hansen last night. We were standing at the back of the theatre which sometimes are cheaper tickets you can get on the day. We actually didnt mind standing for the show! The theatre is stunning and there is a bar down stars with a grand piano which really gives the music box theatre character.

Great air, not stuffy with beautiful views from anywhere in the theater. Only issue is that the seats are small in width and also not enough leg room. 56 and my hips were killing me in an attempt to keep my legs jammed in. I had the aisle seat so I can only imagine others issues and taller individuals.

They dont do rush tickets but if you queue by 6am youre likely to get standing tickets for that days show. They upgraded up to the orchestra at intermission. Dear Evan Hansen is good, but not worth the $300 the box office are selling the remaining tickets for - certainly worth queuing for standing tickets (they are $42).

We paid so much money per ticket for someone’s head to be in my view? The incline for the orchestra seats is definitely not enough and there has probably been enough shows at this theater for this to be known information! It was also quite small for a theater. The show was amazing though. Dear Evan Hansen had songs I still listen to on my own time! Great performance but the theater was not the best.

Saw Dear Evan Hansen here (amazing show - better than expected). For a Broadway theater it was relatively spacious (slightly more room than other theaters), comfortable seats, beautiful theater, very friendly and helpful staff, and clean bathrooms. Having someone walk around before the show to sell drinks, snacks, and merch rather than only being able to buy from a stand in the lobby was also very nice and convenient.

With my girlfriend,I attended Dear Evan Hansen last night (February 2nd). The show was fantastic, we really enjoyed it - well worth seeing. We had an unfortunate incident with one of the members of staff; this woman appeared to be in her early to mid thirties, has blond hair and was running the merchandise stand upstairs next to the entrance to the mezzo seating section. My girlfriend wanted to buy the music score to the musical and was looking at several of the book and t-shirts on sale. The sales representative refused to let her look at one of the books, kept gesturing to give the first one back, clearing her throat and staring at my girlfriend, making her feel very uncomfortable. The sales representative did not ask directly to give the book back or state anything my girlfriend was doing was incorrect. There was no one else waiting in line, my girlfriend was not rude and didnt cause any trouble - I was there the entire time and was shocked to see the sales representatives behavior; the woman was behaving as if my girlfriend was trying to steal from the stand which clearly was not the case. All the rest of the staff was very pleasant and we were very thankful for that.At the end of the show, we went to the bottom floor and purchased the merchandise from the pleasant, helpful woman there. I am writing this review in the hope that this feedback will reach someone who can speak with this sales representative and ask them to behavior more appropriately in future. The encounter was very unpleasant and left us feeling uncomfortable for a good portion of the show, which was very sad. Especially considering the topic of the show, I would hate to see this repeated.Thank you for your time,Peter

Went to see Dear Evan Hansen and the show was fantastic. The story occurs in present day amongst high school students who communicate almost exclusively using technology and social media. I initially considered it non-traditional Broadway. Amazingly, The staging, visual tech, lighting, musical ensemble, all the performers, sound engineering and the entire production really came together to present an unbelievable audience experience

Not a bad seat in this house. The seats had plenty of room and were comfortable. We sat in the last row of the orchestra right and had a great view of the stage. Bathrooms were small as it is with any theater on broadway. Dear Evan Hansen will probably not be replaced for a while so go see it at this theater as you will not be disappointed. Ushers were very nice and they do have hearing assistance if needed. They do require a Drivers License as a deposit for the device.

The following is possibly the most overused cliche ever, but if you only see one play this year, this is it. Dear Evan Hansen tore my heart out, then put it back in, in better shape than before. The entire cast is remarkable, not the least of which is the actor who plays title role, Andrew Barth Feldman, who is a remarkable young actor and a phenomenal singer.

Review №81

Im divided on this theatre. Its small size is conducive to the intimate subject matter of the play, however by the second act I was getting really uncomfortable because the seats are packed together. We were also in the last row of the orchestra section right up against a back wall. Also, I think they sell standing only area tickets and my wife felt someones hands touch her hair from behind (a mistake, I hope). But every angle gives you a great view of the play. If you Google it, you will see that the right and left sides of each section have a partially obstructed view of the stage, however all the action takes place in the center so that wont be an issue. They offer free wifi also, but it was spotty. Bathroom is nice, but waits can be long. Get there on time because they dont allow late seating. Dear Evan Hansen is amazing so that makes me forget about all the negatives.Enjoy!
