My daughter is having a wonderful time at her dance summer Intensive at DTH.

Im a student and this is a great school and the performance is nice youll never meet a grumpy person there.️

Although performance is good, I must comment on how guests were treated. I attended with a group of 5. We were all paying guests. We arrived early to have a good seat, but was told that the children 7 and 9 years old could not sit in the front. They would have to sit on the floor if sitting in front, or go on the back. This is not a good practice. We will not go back to their performance

Good school, great teachers, wonderful staff, just not the place for me, signed up for ballet lessons and payed 1 thousand for one measly class and got another class that I didn’t even want. In total I basically payed for 2 months worth of classes which sucks because they have great teachers that I would love to learn more from but unfortunately I got 1 hour and 30 minutes with them once every week, would recommend to anyone who is interested in other types of dances like hip hop or African :) Amazing school

I was able to catch the Dance Theater of Harlem when they performed in New Orleans. The ballet was not traditional, so as long as you go with that perspective, you will probably enjoy it. They performed several pieces and threw 1 traditional piece in the middle. That 1 performance was amazing, from the music to the lighting to the costumes. I really enjoyed it, but too bad it only lasted a few minutes.

Wonderful place to learn any type of dance. The people working there are professionals and they will treat you with respect even if you are just a beginner.

I am so happy that I had the opportunity to watch these talented and amazing dancers.. They were wonderful!! I cant get Aretha Franklin song call me out of my head! That was my favorite of all...I remember almost every movement....

They always come out with dances done with great professionalism. Its a traveling dance troupe and theyll perform in NY. Its great for families and full of culture. The shows are pretty affordable and they even have kids shows where kids can come talk to the dancers after the shows. There isnt food served inside the theater, but theres always food nearby. You gotta check out the Dance Revelations, its awesome.

I live around the corner and consider myself crazy lucky to be able to go as often as I do.

I attended the Spring Recital today and was floored by the amazing talent of the students and the clear dedication of the instructors and staff!

I was taught by A. Mitchell but to young to tour at the time....

I studied there years ago and now my two granddaughters are going to NY tomorrow and I tell they have got to visit the historical dance school!
