Great way to spend an afternoon in NYC! This was a fun, as well as unique experience for me and my family! It was part mystery, part puzzle-solving, and part city tour! The excursion doesnt require a tremendous amount of puzzle solving skills and you work as a team to figure out solutions to each challenge. The characters we encountered along the way were entertaining and clever and we got to experience ! parts of NYC we hadnt seen before. After the event was over, we went back to a few of the businesses to do a bit of shopping. Overall, I recommend this activity for both adults and teens. It may even be enjoyed by tweens! Thanks, Accomplice, for a great time in the Big Apple!

To celebrate my birthday, my mother and I had the adventure of our lives this past Sunday (10/13/2019) when we were hired as detectives for a case of an abducted woman (and her little dog too)! Our detective skills came in handy while we walked around Greenwich Village interacting with and interrogating characters that lead us to the next location and clue. The actors and stage management flawlessly executed their parts in making this spectacular event for us. We highly recommend this interactive experience for anyone who is willing to immerse themselves into the very serious (but also very silly) role of detective.

What a FUN experience! This is a neat way to spend some time in the city. Its sort of like a scavenger hunt/mystery type of thing. You meet with people along your journey and receive clues about where to go next. You also stop and have a drink (alcoholic or non) and a bite to eat along the way. We had a group of 10. There were 3 in my party, 2 from another group and 5 in another - it was really fun meeting others and working together. There definitely is a lot of walking - so be prepared. Its about 3-3.5 hours and probably about 2-2.5 of that is walking - so wear comfortable shoes and bring water if its a hot day. It will be worth it, though - its really, really fun!

Wear comfortable shoes, put your thinking hat on and get ready to laugh your tail off. Great team exercise, and we were lucky to be paired up with great folks. Visited unique places and made fools of our selves. Grew up in NYC but still learned a thing or two! They pick great locations.

Was a one of a kind experience. Incorporated exercise but ya dont feel it. Good to socialize as you go. Mystery was cool to crack. Was like a beefed up, traveling escape room experience.

We had a group of 8, ranging in ages from 12 to 57 with some of us from New York and others from out of town. We all had an awesome time. The actors were amazing, challenged with us the clues and made us laugh at every stop. We would highly recommend and will definitely do another Accomplice New York. Highly recommended!

Loved it!!! What a way to see the Village in NYC.! A very well thought out production,...you and a bunch of strangers paired up to solve puzzles and find clues on your mission. Don’t let the cold of winter deter you...you’re in and out of various establishments so you won’t even notice it’s freezing out! Our group consisted of 13 year olds, a young couple and a group of guys from Spain- it’s really perfect for anyone! We will see you again in the Spring for a new mission!

Such a fun experience and a great way to see parts of NYC. Stopped twice along the route for drinks at establishments along the route. Actors were really good and made the experience way more fun. You definitely do a lot of walking so be sure to wear good walking shoes. We did the Manhattan adventure which is primarily outside but there is one in the Village thats primarily inside for colder winter months.

My girlfriend and I were able to get discount tickets (check Facebook!) and we ended up attending at 1pm on a Friday. It was a great time! We had 7 people in our group and it ended up being about 2.5 miles of walking, so bring comfortable shoes! Also allow for about 2.5 hours to complete the adventure. I also recommend watching your email closely the 24 hours before you go on the hunt. I accidentally deleted an email with a voice message, but it was still in my trash day-of. Funny actors, would definitely recommend for a walking tour!

Fun and well-organized, this two-hour-ish walking tour of the Village in Manhattan involves interacting with character actors, solving puzzles, and visiting various restaurants and venues. Bring your walking shoes and your thinking cap. You do get to sit down and have drinks more than once. I cant give more detail without giving something away.

OK, this isnt easy. But it is so much fun and its an adventure that youve probably never experienced, even if you live in NYC. We had a group of four people and we all loved the experience. Theres a lot of walking and you need to have you thinking caps with you, but its all worth it. The actors a scene-chewers, but thats OK. The process is a bit bumpy but that adds to the fun. We loved it!

Love this. Its a nice adventure, but youve got to like stuff like follow me type of things. I have done it today with my wife (the one in the village ) and we had a very good time. Youve got to like the concept, otherwise youll be board.Recommended A+

**May Contain Spoilers**Lapin bought tickers for this show for our anniversary. We able to register last minute for the event but since no one else registered for our group, we got a call at 10AM to say if we can move our booking around so we can go with other people. A bit annoying and was last minute. We were mostly afraid that we would get stuck with a big group of people and we wouldnt get a chance to play any of the puzzles. The game started a bit after the allotted time. After, the first puzzle -- we were taken to a bar where we had one drink and solved another puzzle. We didnt know how long to stay there or what do, so we stayed there a bit to long as another group showed up while we were there. When we went to the next location, the person didnt show up until 10 minutes later and we asked if she was the person we were supposed to be talking too, instead she gave us a dirty looking and walked away. Now, were we supposed to follow her and get hit with harassment charges? The actress finally realized and came back to talk to us after another 10 minutes has lapsed. We thought another person was a part of the game and instead he was just a regular person who very annoyed with us.My main gripe is that the game wasnt spaced out to give time and some of the puzzles were easier that we thought --- we just made it more complicated. A couple of the puzzles, we were rushed to get on that we couldnt get a chance to fully appreciate everything. The light appetizers and drinks, we barely had any time to eat or drink or even got to use the restroom. If the food and beverages were going to be that far spaced, they should have provided bottled water/snacks -- especially at $80 (+tax and fees) these are built into the price. Some of the actors were rude and over the top -- borderline annoying. They called another person in our group mentally retarded and yelled at them. We are native NYers and we felt bad for the other people as they were here on vacation. The people at the end were a bit rude, we overheard them saying how we were so slow and after the event -- they just went to the back to drink and laugh. Like there was no point for them to have so many people in the end if all they were going to do was hand out more flyers to do more games, the last thing I would do is spend another afternoon being insulted by actors and the organizers while dying from exhaustion and lack of food/water.Also, wear comfortable shoes, time yourselves and bring water/snacks.

We love immersive theatre and have been to many immersive theatre productions in the US and the UK, including Accomplice London. Accomplice New York is well acted and fairly well written. Its a nice way to combine a theatre show with a walking tour of parts of NYC you may not otherwise see. However, one of the scenes involves buying a live frog from a Chinese food store, completely sealed in a plastic bag. We then had to carry it through several, very hot, city blocks, while it slowly suffocated inside the sealed bag. We were to deliver it to another actor, who presumably returned it to the shop for the same thing to happen again. This was deeply distressing to us and other members of the audience. We were told when we complained at the end of the show that they look after the animals. However given that the frog was bought from a food shop it was inevitably destined to be eaten, but with the added cruelty of being suffocated in a plastic bag while being carried around busy city streets. Frogs, unless they are in well-oxygenated water, need to breath air through their lungs, but this frog could not possible have had sufficient air inside the sealed bag for it to survive for long.I understand that we are not the first to complain, but the producers insist on keeping this segment of the show. I find this bizarre, since the frog was in no way essential to the narrative (not that that would excuse it). The scene requires a bizarre item to be conveyed - this could have been an inanimate object!I am in no doubt at all that if Accomplice London had incorporated the frog into their show, they would have been prosecuted by the RSCPA.PETA have also raised it with the producers to no avail - google PETA Accomplice New York for details. PETA may sometimes take a somewhat extreme view on animal rights, but on this issue, they are spot on!If you care in any way about animal cruelty, do not book to see this show.
