Fun show and pretty good food & cocktails. Was a nice change of pace and the show itself was definitely not predictable. Probably should have splurged for something a little extra in terms of food and getting there earlier for better seats. Unfortunately was blocked a little by a pole. First course was nice but was a little light because we had to share one plate.

This was a fun experience in a town known for its food and its theater. The venue is a small room off a bar area, dark and cozy, with a very small stage at the front of the room. A 3 piece jazz band plays music as you arrive and take your seat. The show begins as soon as you arrive, with characters welcoming you and introducing themselves and the premise of the show. The storyline is lively yet predictable. The chef and the waiter are the most comical and engaging characters in the show. The singing is entertaining and decent, but not write-home worthy. This is definitely not Broadway, but its fun and entertaining. The food was okay; I had steak and it was not the best. The whole premise is centered around Truffles and you are supposed to get a sampling of truffles, however we did not see any at our table or those around us. Perhaps they were... stolen? All in all, I really enjoyed the show, loved the actors, and the band, but I am not sure it was up to the level I was expecting for NYC being as known for theater as it is. Definitely worth the money and the experience though!

Overall we had a decent time. The food was mediocre at best, the acting was a solid 5 out of 10, and the venue was so so.Considering the relatively low price for a show and a meal, we got what we paid for. If you are looking for a decent night out that won’t break the bank, come with medium expectations and you won’t be disappointed. The best part was the band.

This was probably the worst evening I have ever experienced in my life and doesnt deserve any stars at all but there isnt that option!Let me explain: My family and I were very excited to be spending my daughters special thirteenth birthday with you. After reading online reviews I felt confident we were in for a very special treat. I am now beginning to wonder how authentic the reviews for your product actually are.To summarize here is a list of what the problems were:The ‘Food’1) The first ‘course’ that arrived consisted of a couple of very small bits of tasteless bread and crackers with a couple of small pots of a few cut tomatoes and some kind of awful paste. When we asked for a little more bread we were informed there wasn’t any and a few stale crackers came out instead.2) The ‘entrée’ was a choice of either very over-cooked mushy risotto with a couple of mushrooms in it or a piece of over-cooked salmon with a few of the left over tomatoes from the first ‘course’ strewn with a couple of bits of cucumber in it.3) The ‘desert’ was an insult and the final straw – a half scoop of vanilla ice-cream with a dab of honey in it that had almost completely melted and turned to liquid before it arrived.The ‘Entertainment’The actors couldn’t have been less of an ‘ensemble’ working together if they tried. The delivery was stilted, the script appalling, the weak attempt at including the audience pathetic and the musicality non-existent.As you can see we did not have a good experience and we came away feeling very cheated on what was meant to have been a very special and memorable evening. The cast didn’t even bother to sing Happy Birthday to my daughter when I had actually put a note about it on the booking.Please think carefully before you bother to waste any money on going to this event.

Amazing time! I would definitely recommend this as an outting. Show was great food was great and the unlimited drinks option topped it off. The cast was very interactive and had amazing voices. You definitely got a dinner and a show.

A wonderful night out! The ingénue who opened the show in song started things off excellently with a tight musical ensemble! The gorgeous venue was somewhat hard to find considering it’s in the heart of the theater district. I guess that’s why they call it the Secret Theater. The food was solid. Our bottles of wine were reasonably priced. In the end, my group of five was very happy with our decision to spend a night out together at Truffles! Would recommend for people looking to have a fun night out with friends or a light-hearted/change of pace night out with that special someone.

While the show had its humorous moments, and the actors and musicians are very talented, the terrible service ruined the experience. We have very sensitive food allergies (nuts, dairy, etc.), and in addition to listing our dietary restrictions when we purchased our tickets, we notified our server and the manager (Grant) when we arrived. They still brought us dishes that we couldn’t eat and tried arguing that they were safe for us to consume. It was obvious to us and the people sitting nearby that they weren’t, but the staff and manager were rude and didn’t do anything to fix it. After spending $150 on two tickets, we literally left this “dinner show” without having a meal. The cherry on top was they asked us to email them so they could process some sort of refund and then refused to do so a week later. Don’t waste your time here. There are MANY other places in the area that care about their customers.

A surprisingly fun time, our group enjoyed every minute of the evening, delicious food and a spirited cast kept us involved and guessing the whole time. The female voices were a hit and Chef Bruno was insane! Definitely good for family groups!

After a very shaky start, the evening turned into an enjoyable time. To begin, there were a lot of confused/annoyed people trying to figure out where the venue was located. People pacing around on the street asking other people which door and they didnt know either. It was an unnecessary stress.There was no indication of which entrance of two, maybe three (?) to stand in front of. Signage would go a very long way to keep people from getting so frustrated before the show. Heck, even a handwritten post-it wouldve been enough! The environment inside was really fun--had a good vibe. The food was nice. The mushroom risotto was flavorful. The salmon was just okay. The bread and cheese platter was delicious! My companion, a lover of wine, said the wine was some of the worst hes ever received at a restaurant/ cafe. The show was cute with some good singers and some not so good. Chatting with my friend afterward, we agreed that we enjoyed ourselves well-enough. Wouldnt go again; however, its a decent enough time to send visiting family to enjoy. Oh, and if this a of issue for you--the crowd was mainly a Bridge and Tunnel crowd. Wasnt an issue for me but YMMV. Overall. a middling evening that was good for one time.

We were party of five for the opening night.Service and food was good, and the show was great and funny. We all had a great time.Highly recommended !!!

I purchased a Groupon to this experience and the company kept canceling shows then rebooking me. They Made it impossible to actually get to a show. They stopped responding to my emails about rebooking or getting reimbursed and never gave my money back. Poor management, stole my $$. Don’t do a Groupon or other promotion for this show as it’s throwing money away.

Fun night, great food, was perfect the perfect spot to bring my guests. Show had some funny moments, cast works hard to entertain.

My husband surprised me with tickets for this show for my birthday last year. It was hilarious and we had a great time!

Sorry, but this wasnt worth the money... The staff was nice and all, but the food was scrappy and over-cooked and the show seemed more like a high-school play than anything else. There are much better alternatives in NYC for dinner experiences.

Beware! After struggling to get a reservation for a party of 7, they canceled 3 days prior to the show by email... sending it as a spam email to boot! Stating they are moving venues. Offered a refund or VIP for an alternate show. I requested a full refund that still have not gotten... been almost three weeks. The customer service is terrible! I cannot comment on the actual show or food, but business etiquette is terrible! Ruined entire weekend planned. I had to contact my bank and state the purchase was fraudulent being no refund has been issued.

A must see! I celebrated my husbands birthday at Swing46 and was very pleased with everything. The food and staff were great. The Musical was fabulous! Sonia accomodated everything that I wished for, making it a memorable experience. If you are seeking to have a fun filled evening, wish to laugh while enjoying a good meal then this is where you want to be!

We went to a Murder Mystery Dinner Show. Very reasonable. Food was delicious, show was great. Interactive. You have to try it at least once. We would love to go again.

One the worst show I have been ever see, we came here for a holiday dinner ,so existed to get together it was such a disappointment I don’t even know where to start food was a joke small portions that a kid on middle school Cooke better, that’s not a meal you spend $70the acting was not professional , overall was such a big disappointment we had to leave before it’s finished and go to eat on another place.

Great show! Great service! Lots and lots of fun.. The cast was awesome! The music ( band) was simply amazing!
