I mean some of the comedians were Eh. But its not fully professional and everyone has to start from somewhere. Its really a two item minimum instead of a two drink you can get a drink and the food item which isnt bad due to the fact that they let us in for free. I mean lets be real youre going to a show expect to pay something. Some of the comedians were hilarious and I definitely would recommend this comedy spot because theyre cool vibes and its right in times square. Most definitely going back.

After getting solicited on the street to buy the tickets, I must say we had a great time, we paid $40 for 5 tickets (and you can return 2x times.. they dont expire) although you must buy 2 drinks FYI, the magic/ comedy show was on point. Nothing fancy, just good old fashioned magic with a twist of comedy. I was selected to partake in the magic act and he blew my mind! Well be back!

Located basically In Time square we stumbled upon it walking back to our hotel the show was about to start so thought why not. We had a great time some great comedians some of which have been on tv where really funny and made for a good night the drinks are rather expensive $15 each and you need to bye two drinks per person as part of the admission price but was well worth it. Would definitely recommend visiting here.

The show was a bit hit and miss... Prices to get in depended on who you bought your tickets from off the street. First bloke wanted 20pp, second wanted 15pp, but if you wait until 9pm, they will basically give you free admission, but... Theres a two drink minimum once inside. Id suggest ordering water (6$).Heres the catch... First drink was great....Second drink had no alcohol in it. Ordered Hendrix gin and tonic, received tonic water with lime for drink#2.... Ill never go back. Half the comedians were good, other half just took the piss out of audience members. Reminded me of high school. Dont waste your time.

The reviews for this are crazily mixed so I thought it help if I did the full low down, so here it goes...Id read the reviews after buying the tickets and quite a few sent me under and would have probably stopped me from going if I hadnt already got them which would have been a shame because it was brilliant. We laughed through over 80% of it and the time flew by.Its a 2 drink minimum but it does say this on the tickets clearly and they tell you on the way in too.Note the show starts prompt if not a few mins early, seating begins 30 mins early Id advise getting there 15 mins before. Once youre seated a few mins later a waiter comes over and takes your order for the 2 drinks you want (one comes straight away and the other about half way through) the beers are all bottles and are $9.50 and soft drinks are $6 and come in a large glass. This is pretty much standard prices for times square and I was actually expecting them to be dearer. I paid a lot more for drinks at Madison square garden at a basketball game and at winter gardens watching a Broadway show. We bought tickets off one of the PRs in Times Square for $20 each and allow you to turn up to any show on any day of your choice. Ive read you can get them cheaper from the venue on the day or other PRs but I cant confirm this but either way it was worth $20.We went to the 9.15pm aduly humour show and there was 3 acts on (2 of them were absolutely hilarious) then another comes on whilst the waiters come round with your drink bills and then a final act (who again was absolutely hilarious) finished the show. Note they do add 15% to your bill as an advised gratuity and bill your card automatically for it but on a few drinks it was a minimal amount, mine was $4.50 which I didnt mind.It was so funny with some naughty humour and Im really glad I went, it was better than some frog and bucket and comedy club nights Ive been to in manchester.

Really good time, you can get a really good deal for tickets on the street around Time Square, but the two drink minimum is a little pricey. Also the street ticket guys don’t know the lineup so you might wanna check on that first. Overall really great service, really great time. The comics there when we went were great.

When you come to New York from the U.K. you expect the comedy to be on the same level, if not better. The Americans loved the jokes however it is not humour that the Brits can enjoy. We may speak the same language, but when it comes to comedies our humour is completely different. I love a good American sitcom but leave the stand up to the brits

Probably the biggest waste of money on my entire trip! First, it was a magic show with 2 drink minimum for adults and a 2 item minimum for each child THEN the family friendly comedy show with another 2 drink minimum and same for each child... so basically an adult needs to buy 4 drinks in 2 hours and kids 4 items in 2 hours. The actual magic show wasnt great, wasnt good for that matter. We opted out of the comedy show that followed because they required another set of minimum buys. Total rip off, dont go here unless you got money to waste. Oh and they include the tip whether you like it or not.

The comics were really funny and had a great time. The only down is the 2 drinks required, but that was advertised before buying the tickets so I knew what I was doing. They automatically added 15% gratuity which was fine as long as you know they do that. And I found that out by reading other peoples reviews. On tickets and drinks for a party of 4, we spent about $160 which send reasonable for new york time square.

It is a good place to chill on a budget in Manhattan, especially so close to Time Square. Whether it was a good experience or not obviously depends on the comedians that night. The downfall is that they let late comers walk in and because it is a 2 drink minimum purchase the waiter have to keep taking orders and delivering the drinks during the performances. I ordered a beer for first drink and a cola for the 2nd but they all came at the same time so i had to drink the coke first cause Otherwise the ice would water down the coke. The place is exceptionally small and expect the toilets to be less than sanitary. So use the restroom somewhere else before heading up there.

RUN AWAY! Tourists beware! Firstly, there is a 2 drink minimum PER PERSON, with very high prices. We werent notified until AFTER we walked to the top of the stairs... After you get your check, there is a mandatory 15% gratuity added without warning or permission (18% with groups of 6 or more). After comparing our receipt with the table menu, we found that we were charged a few dollars extra per drink than advertised. You get your checks during an act, so be sure to read the fine print (which is hard when youre being heckled for not paying attention). The host was extremely abrasive and only 2 of the acts were actually any good. If you are someone who just wants to enjoy some comedy without being a main focus point, this isnt the place for you. This is a very small venue. Also, for a place that burned your nose with the smell of bleach, the floors were soooooo sticky. Its pretty sad that your comics even admitted that NONE of us (including them) wanted to be there. If youre considering this place, run for the hills!!! This is a complete scam!!

You may have to wait in a hallway or stand at the busy bar if youre early but if youre late you risk being the pun of jokes, as is the case anyways especially if you sit up front. Our nachos were cold, drinks were wrong, service was poor and you cant deal with all that til after the show but management was proactive and concerned.

I went here in group of four. This was our first time in New York, and they took advantage of that. We payed $20 per person, but found much lower prices afterward. We entered expecting an enjoyable improv act (as advertised), but once we got inside we were very confused. First of all, we paid for an hour of comedy, but the show started 15+ mins late and ended early. Second of all, we found out about the two drink minimum once we got inside, and once seeing that water was the cheapest menu item at $6, we were tempted to leave. Third of all, improv is a bit of a stretch, it was very pre-planned and relied on awkward audience participation. Honestly, I didn’t laugh once, except for when I was called up to be part of the act with my cousin, and we were laughing about how ridiculous it all was. But the laughing stopped when I returned to find that the other half of my tiny $12 quesadilla had been taken by the waiter (keep in mind, I didn’t even want to go on stage in the first place, and I didn’t really want to pay for that quesadilla either). After that happened, we REALLY started to question why they automatically charge for a tip, apparently confiscating unfinished food is deserving of a mandatory tip. All in all, I would recommend opting for a musical or something instead (for example; we could have watched Waitress instead). We ended up paying almost $200 for the four of us, but initially we were under the impression that it would only add up to about $80 ($20 tickets x4). It was not worth $200 at all. Maybe some of the other options here are better, but I will never return to try them out.

This place is so dishonest and crooked. Tonight my family of 5 purchased tickets to their 8:15 pm family friendly show. We showed up 30 min early and were told our show had already started. We walked in and instantly realized we were NOT in the family friendly show. I left and asked the manager if we had been taken to the wrong room. He started to Insult me and told me the family friendly show started 2 hours earlier. I showed him the ticket that clearly said our family friendly show was at 8:15. He told me tough luck. I asked for a refund. He said they don’t do that. I asked for a supervisor. He said he was the supervisor. It was a disaster. He said they reserve the right to change times. Carful when buying tickets off the street. Best to get them right at the club. I got older tickets and it cost me an extra 10$. Also this club needs to get it figured out on the billing! They charge you for a group tip and I came alone. I challenged this and it was a huge problem for the server. I asked for it to be taken off and he took my credit card and presented me with a different bill then was actually done. Turned out he still charged me anyway according to my credit card. Then to top it off, I was trying to enjoy the show and he was interrupting all the time to get the bill paid rather than at the end of the show. Totally ruined any funniness the show could have provided because the experience was so poor. I feel bad for the comedians. They try to entertain but the way LOL runs the place, it interrupts the flow. If there was going to be a challenge with anything, deal with it after so the show can go on. Remember there is a 2 drink min and if you go to Magic show they make you again buy drinks. Bottle Water is over $5 and any other drink is around $16. So disappointed! Tourist trap.

Hi I was in your club today and attended two shows. I bought tickets on the street and paid for 3 drinks. The first two at the first show I paid for with my debit card that had an $800 balance I also left a 20% tip. I then went directly to the second show and bought a third drink. My debit card was declined I believe due to already being used at the first show. The waiter stated he ran the card 3 times. After the show the manager asked f I had cash extremely rudely and then aggressively asked what I was going to do. I had already attempted to call my bank and due to late hour no on was available to assist in unblocking the card. The manager acted as if I was a criminal. I asked if you had a atm and she said no. She the said I had to leave my ID to go to an atm. When I returned with cash the server gave himself a tip out of my cash. I had to ask for my correct change. I had to pay the atm $5. And my bank will charge my $3. For my $9 Budweiser. Your manager was extremely RUDE!!!! And the waiter tipped himself also RUDE!!!!!! You can buy tickets from your phone at the door if you want, didnt listen to the sales pitch long enough to compare pricing. The club itself, once you get up the stairs to get to it (not an accessible location) is actually rather nice. The two item per person minimum wouldnt bother me overly much except the drinks were each in the $10-15 dollar range and you order both at the beginning, no real floor service during the show. I would have felt better about this had there been enough alcohol to even taste in our drinks. There wasnt. The comedians we saw were hit and miss. We had to obey the 2 (expensive!!) drink min PLUS buy another drink once our actual show begins. Who charges $13 for a hot toddy bought out in a tea cup with a tea bag ?? We never got to see the comedy show because the horrible fake magician show lasted two hours and it was time to meet our bus. The switcheroo didnt end with us other patrons were offered the opposite of what they actually paid to see and told of the actual 3 drink min should they make it to their actual show afterwards. Of course they offer no refunds(HA HA). The bathroom was the true comedic part as it was so small in the stall my nose was the only space my face had from the door and only two people could stand in the room at one time all the while blocking the door despite it being 3 stalls. Brokers/Patrons beware!!!@!

Genuinely the worst comedy club and some of the worst comedians we have ever seen. The club is purely a tourist trap and doesnt need to care about providing good entertainment. Instead it focuses more on making sure you buy the required two drinks (taking, delivering or receipting orders throughout the show!) Avoid and head to a real comedy club where the comedians dont get angry that theyre not making people laugh.

I bought 2 tickets on Best comedy tickets site with some discount which was great value for money!!! The show was great! The comedians were very funny, We laughed from the beginning till the end of the show. My girlfriend still talked about the show when we came home. It was a great show ever! The 2 drinks is pricey but its worth for a great night.

Absolutely hilarious. I dont remember when I laughed so hard. It was a great mix of comedians! They have a two drink minimum, but this is par for any comedy club. I got two $9 beers and considered it the cost of admission.

Good show however, 2 drink minimum (which took forever to receive), gratuity added (party of two) without being notified.

Bought ticket they dont tell you two drink minimum which cost more than the tickets. At least give me the freedom to choose if I want a drink or not. Tore up the tickets in the trash.

Unprofessional stand up/improv acts that lean on boring sexist jokes and toilet humor. Dont bother.Mildly amusing at times however the comedians used the same jokes which got old fast. You would think that they would watch the acts before them to get an idea on vibes and realise that the poor teenage kid in the audience is easy pickings and doesnt need to be asked his story for being there for 10 mins per act.Drinks and food was mediocre.Overpriced for the time you invest - would recommend another venue if you want to see talented or at least creative comedians.

We arrived about 5 mins into the magic show, the magician was a chap called Eric and he was brilliant. The drinks are really expensive which is a shame as it makes you feel that you are getting scammed. If it was a bit more open and honest I am sure this place would really take off. The crowd on the night we went on was only 10 people, great because we all went up on stage during the show but a tough gig for a very competent professional magician. It was great fun and Eric was fantastic and did some clever tricks! I even showed him how to make a penny appear from your ear! At the end of the show I was told I could go to the comedy club for another 2 drinks minimum per person , at that point I decided to leave as I felt I was having the proverbial taken out of me. A real shame as it was a great evening out and Eric Walton is a definite name to look out for in the future. Simon. Gosport England

We had a great time at LOL! The comedians were hysterical and could really work the crowd. The host was fantastic and definitely one of the best. Our favorite by far was this one comic, Jonathan Randof. Crazy funny guy that that still has me laughing. Would give it 5 stars but the drinks are way overpriced and not even good. Go for the comedy but stay away from the mixed drinks.

Was told there would be 7 acts with some big names including Seth MacFarlane and tickets were $30 (face value was $20 when they finally gave is the tickets) at the door so I should get them now from the dudes selling outside on the street and save $$$. Never mentioned a 2 drink minimum.... Fast forward to the show: walked into what the comics called the attic which was the smallest room you can imagine for any kind of entertainment. Two of the comedians joked about the audience size of just 20 people! We should have known then thos wasnt going to get any better. There was only 5 acts and they werent horrible but they werent hilarious either. Just as funny as the average funny neighborhood grandpa. The loudest laughs came from the back row (5th row) where the next in line joke teller sat and waited... the worst part was the 2 drink minimum. These servers hound you to hurry up and order those 2 drinks. Always interrupting and persisting! They even closed everyone out and brought tickets with the second round as they knew no one was going to order anymore shotty drinks. Stay away from this place. Its a complete waste of time.

Really funny! The host, dino or vino or something was wicked. He was just as entertaining as the comedians. Biggest downside was the price of drinks and condition of the bathrooms. So get a buzz on and take a wizz before you get there.

Drunk Shakespeare is the show I saw. It was definitely funny, and seeing the one guy get wasted and perform was hilarious, although at times I got a sense of pity from the crowd at times. I definitely recommend people to see this, but keep in mind that this show is loaded with dark humor.
