Great relaxed atmosphere with live music. Bar staff were lovely and attentive in the Voodoo garden, bringing drinks ordered at the bar over to our table. One staff member was a bit rude inside when I asked for directions to the bathroom and inside seemed to lack vibe in comparison to the Voodoo Bar. There are overhead heaters outside, drinks and food were reasonably priced, plenty of seating on a Saturday night in March. A short walk from Bourbon Street, which we were happy to get away from. Would visit again!

Came to see Thievery Corporation here. First time at a house of blues! We had a great experience! Got there early to reserve good seats in front of the stage, standing room. It is possible to reserve, and have dinner as well but we opted for the general admission. It was a great experience, would love to come back for other shows

The friendliness and setting made up for the ok steak. My wife and I walked in because of the entrance. Very cool place to walk in and have a romantic dinner. Her Cobb salad was great. My steak tasted like they made it in a ninja. The sides were fantastic! The drinks, super strong and also great. So the NY strip was the only reason for the loss of a star. Staff were excellent. Very accommodating. Will try again in future visit!

Great atmosphere, great service, and great food in the Big Easy!I had the Shrimp po-boy, she had the brisket. Really, really good. Uber, Lyft, or pay for parking in one of the many parking areas. ($15-$18) If your staying in hotel downtown its a short walk from any of them.

I went to go see the Sabrina Claudio concert. I get there and the website I bought the tickets from was down. I was directed to the ticket window. They were able to print up my tickets with no problem a few minutes later. Wanted to get some food. The Yardbird sandwich was delicious. Wanted a mojito but they were out of mint but the hurricane was just as good. My bartender/waitress was super cool. Get to the concert and the opening act was on stage. Regret missing the first 15 minutes. Head upstairs. The sound and the view are both great. Got VIP tickets and head to my seats. Overlooking the stage on the right hand side. Perfect view. Enjoyed Sabrina Claudios performance. The night started a little rough but the entire experience from House of Blues was perfect. Would definitely do again.

Our server Katie (Katelyn) and the hostess Nikki were amazing. They made it an experience for sure. Katie gave us insight to the local traditions of NOLA whole Nikki made us feel beyond comfortable during our stay. When I return to NOLA, Ill definitely be returning to the HOB.I originally ordered the New Orleans Pasta and it had very little meat and plenty of lemon zest which didnt taste right. I then ordered the Fried chicken and to my surprise, it was bland. I asked my server to bring out sauces to help dress it up and that did the trick. The Hurricane was decent but $14.I fell in love with the carvings of the soul artists in the ceiling.

Made reservations to eat at the New Orleans House of Blues but really only had access to the Voodoo Lounge outdoor area in the back courtyard. The main venue was closed for a private event as judging by the events calendar is commonly the case.In spite of this, we were front & center for a great live classic rock guitar & singing show featuring some originals and classics from the likes of the Allman Brothers, Carlos Santana & Jonny Cash. We drank more than we ate, and they ran out of a couple types of beers we wanted.

I was here a year ago when the venue was under construction. The venue has since been upgraded and it was a much better experience this time around. I have yet to go to a concert outside of the Parish so I can’t speak on the main stage. The downside about the Parish is that it is standing room only. However, you can see the act from just about anywhere in the room. It can get pretty crowded if the act is well-known. There is a bench to sit on near the bar, but you won’t really be able to see.Restaurant was pretty good too, we were able to enjoy some food and even live blues entertainment before the show.

Okay! We dropped in the late afternoon, before dinner, just for a quick refreshment. The place was 90% empty, yet we were ushered to a table on the side. When we asked for a better table, the maitre Dee seemed confused. At the end we were given our bill and abandoned. We went looking for the cashier. Then saw our waiter come to our table. Not seeing us there, she assumed we ran off without paying . She was surprised to see me coming towards her. The music was quaint. I liked it. Were positive people and laughed the whole thing off. Sunday brunch. Free memosas. Amazing food, buffet was hands down the best buffet Ive ever had, and Im from Memphis, so we have some awesome buffets at home, so thats saying a lot. Great music, you have a main singer/hostess and ours was great. You get to choose where you sit, we sat upstairs front center, that was a great view of the stage. Plus both upstairs and downstairs each have identical buffets. Now if youre looking for gospel music to be played here at this Sunday brunch, thats not what they do, at least thats not what they did the day we went. It was still a good time, no so much gospel as I anticipated but most of the songs youll still know. I would go again if I ever come back to New Orleans.

Hey House of Blues! Your service could really improve ALOT! Your show scheduled to start at 8pm, started at 9pm. The concert venue is not ADA compliant. At the Endless Nights Ball - concert goers had to carry a womans wheelchair down multiple steps. The corridors were tight for her average sized wheelchair. She bumped into walls and required many people to assist her - because of the design of the bathroom. One must also ascend steps and descend them to get to the stage. I was told this is probably not ADA compliant, but well it is New Orleans. I love the decor and design. It wouldnt cost too much too use ramps. It might be hard to open up that corridor, but what I saw last night was unacceptable. If she had a power or larger wheelchair she couldnt have attended. I have traveled through Europe and most countries have made buildings from as early as the 16 the century accessible through small lifts.

They moved us up to the upstairs room, where I believe they do a VIP thing in there on normal nights, but was much larger and comfortable. You could hear every sound made in the restroom in the main meeting room, and for normal times where three is a lot of people and music Im sure it wouldnt matter. The decor was very interesting and artistic. Loved the subtle humor mixed in with the traditional religious pieces. They did provide everyone with vouchers for a future show, and VIP access for the inconvenience.
