A beautiful landmark. There is a flight of steps leading up to the platform on which the tower is built. Great views in all directions.

This strangely was one of my favorite little spots in a of Minneapolis. I wish all water towers were made as beautifully and creatively as this is. This is tucked into a cute little neighborhood and is completely not what you expect to find in such an area. Its very peaceful and serene.

Never knew this existed. On my “to go see” list now.Somehow I don’t think it’s a “cute” nor “little” water tower judging by the great pictures (some of which were posted by aforementioned reviewers that called it “cute” and “little”)

Great spot for Sunrise and sunsets at different times of the year. And it is a cool water tower, but not much else to see or do. Great place to test out various camera apps and features, which is what I did.

Located in a quite residential neighbourhood, this old water tower has knight sculptures holding swords around the base, and eagle statues at the top. There are several paths leading up to the tower and benches around. A quick stop to learn about an old water tower that is still used for water pressure today.

We have two snow removal accounts across the street from the tower. And we also painted one of the houses. The one with the turquoise trim. And we stained the deck at the other one. Great neighborhood.

Gorgeous water tower. A must see for residents of Minneapolis looking to get out and see the hidden secrets of their city. The architecture of this landmark can only be understood by standing beneath it and taking in all its beauty has to offer.

I have admired this neighborhood landmark since my childhood. Early one morning in the 1950s an airplane (which had clipped the tower) mysteriously crashed on the south side of Minnehaha Blvd. Without noticeable damage to the tower it took a long time to find the missing airplane parts, which were in landscaping around the tower and explained the crash. The tower is clearly marked as a hazard in 1950s era aviation maps.
