This place is always packed, but is still a fun place to walk around on all the different paths and see all the cool stuff. The little plaques around giving information about the sites are nice too.Some great places to eat nearby as well.

Stone Arch Bridge is a great place to go on walks go biking and running. So many people go to walk their dogs. Its great to take childeren too & theyre also cafes & diners near by!

Its a beautiful landmark of Minnesota to visit. A nice walk across the bridge. Its pretty, safe, and the walkway is a very wide. We saw a lot of people taking pictures down there, exercising, and some couples walking for fun. We parked in a little lot, we had to pay per hour, but it would have been nice to have free parking.

Always a nice place to walk during the day. You can also rent scooters or bikes which I really enjoy. Some good scenic views with St. Anthony Main on one side and the Mill City ruins and The Guthrie Theater on the other.

I enjoy this area because its clean and an easy walk. The view is gorgeous since youre right off the Mississippi and youre close to downtown to grab some ice cream on a hot day. Our puppy enjoys the shade of the parks nearby too, once weve made our adventure.

20/10 had many life events at this bridge. Love it and its beauty.A great place to walk around and explore the city. Its usually pretty busy so I would recommend a mask despite it being outside. Great for walking and biking and looking and the very industrial river.

Always picturesque and vibing! Hit the hidden trails and bridges on St Anthony side, or the ruins park on downtown side. Never disappoints!

It’s a bridge, made out of stone. Does a great job of being a bridge. Great arch cool bridge, it’s a bridge over the river. A cool river with other bridges, but this one, this one looks a bit different. This is due to that fact that it is stone, a stone bridge. I would suggest using this bridge for its intended purpose only, as a bridge.

Knowing the History behind it and the area , it just gives off a good feeling to me. N I have many more reasons...

Ugh. Its so beautiful. Found a staircase down to the water (kind of broken and definitely not safe, also blocked off) but it was awesome. Covered in graffiti and takes you straight to the river. The bridge is over 2000 ft and is foot pedestrians only. We went right before sunset and it was full of life and beauty. Nice path and parks to hang in.

It was such a nice time when my family and I went down there. We were able to park near by and walk around, there is a lot of places to take really nice pictures.

An iconic landmark of the city and venue for the Aquatennial fireworks that come every July. The fireworks are one of the largest in the country and a must see.Coming to the bridge, pedestrian and cyclist only bridge with amazing views of the city and good trails around if you wanna go out walking or take pets around. On one side you have nice outdoor restaurants for hanging out.

Beautiful old bridge. This is during the October 2020 river level drawdown. The level is 12 feet lower than is normal.

One of best place in minneapolis. People come here for outing with famiy n friends, walking, jogging. It gives view of old buildings like Gold Medal Mill, Pillsbury mill, Mill museum and the buildings on modern era in downtown. Enjoyed the walk on Sat Feb 22, 2020 when it was a sunny day with temp 43*F

This is one of Minnesota’s greatest landmarks it is a beautiful area to walk around and draws crowds of all sizes to the said location. My favorite part about it is the history that is behind the bridge 10/10 would recommend visiting this place if you haven’t already

Such an amazing Place one of the only waterfalls on the Mississippi if youre ever in Minneapolis go for a walk on this bridge you can see the old Pillsbury Factory the Heritage trails and so much more. Mississippi was truly all lifeline for America

If theres one place in Minneapolis, I absolutely love its the Stone Arch Bridge. Always a delight, always amazing. The views from here are marvelous and you will always find people, walking, running, with their pets, biking, skateboarding, roller skating etc. here. If youre having a bad day or month or year, just go and walk the Stone Arch bridge, let the winds and sounds of running water loft up your spirits and let you find joy and peace. Beautiful area with plenty of walking/running paths. Also a lot of fun restaurants along the street all within walking distance of the bridge. I went here for the Stone Arch Bridge festival, which was also pretty fun and lots of unique booths to look at.

I was a lovely way to discover more about Minneapoliss history, while enjoying the skyline.

We went in the evening so there was a beautiful sunset as we were walking across it. Great place to go.

I have lived in the city for a while now but never really commited to the idea of being here during sunrise. It is a must to go for a run here early in the morning and watch the sun rise. The colors, birds, and the soothing sounds of Mississippi River. It doesnt get any better than that. It made me fall in love with Minneapolis in a whole different level.

This is the perfect place and area to walk around in, bike or run. It doesnt matter if you youre alone, with friends, or on a date. Its a nice view of the sunset from the bridge and just a nice place to go to if youre looking for something to do. They have lanes for walkers, runners and bikers. Just be careful because some bikers dont care if they run you over lol. Definitely a place you can take an Instagram worthy picture.the pictures are the type of views you get from the bridge.

A bridge that vehicle can not pass through. It is good for cycling, walking, and jogging. The scenary is spectacular as you can see the skyline of downtown minneapolis. Walk from one end to the other end is approximately 15-30 minutes depending on the walking speed. There is a pay-to-park area nearby. The fare was $1 per hour.

Beautiful scenery from this bridge and great for a run across if it’s warm outside. I was lucky the weekend I came as it was really nice out.

Me and a few friends decided to go to Minnesota to sightsee. This spot here is a nice little spot for some good pictures. Scenery was beautiful a lot of active people cycling, running just having a good time. The only negative thing I can say is that the water smells a little funky. LOL

An iconic spot to visit that gives a nice view of downtown skyline, the mill ruins and the mighty Mississippi. The North side of the river has some great places to eat and a theater to catch a movie. Great place for an evening stroll.

Love walking on the Stone Arch Bridge! Offers a panoramic view of St Anthony Falls. The bridge links to Father Hennepin Bluff Park and Mill Ruins Park. There is a center you are able to visit. The center is called the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock & Dam Visitor Center. The center is located at the west end of the bridge. In the Fall there is a car show and craft show combined. Please go to their website. Many events happen during the Summer and Fall.

My favorite place in the city to take my dog for a walk. I always park at a meter on the north side of the bridge and walk across and back. Really cool views of Downtown Minneapolis and the river front. A photographers heaven. If you’re walking with a dog, kids, or a group pay attention to the bike lanes in the center of the bridge. I’ve seen some close calls with people and kids almost getting hit by a biker because they didn’t look before crossing.

The bridge is very beautiful and one of a kind. I heard it’s even more beautiful with all the lights at night which I didn’t get to see unfortunately. Nonetheless, it’s worth visiting the bridge!

Great place to spend your evening. I was visiting UMN and took a walk to the bridge one evening, so glad I did.

I just found this along a run. Sunday morning just following a rain, I found myself almost solo. I got the whole bridge to myself and stopped a few times to snap some pics. I wish I had more time to poke around the ruins. However I took a route over to the university and came back this same way. Found myself among a 5k!!! Lol.Good view of the downtown! Worth a visit.

This area is quite beautiful and full of history. It has well marked walk/biking trails with amazing views.

Great place to walk; clean easy trails/sidewalks, beautiful downtown skyline, along the river, great people watching, several places to eat..or drink. Many people like to use the area for photoshoots. There are postings that explain how energy is generated through the dam (which can get near, but is safely fenced off), and information about the river and a bit of local history posted as well.

Always a must for a run or walk. We come here about once a week, and we love the parks on both sides with the Mill City Museum on the bank. Great place to take photos and enjoy the view.

Nice bridge to stroll across or head under and check out the ruins. Parking was $1 per hour in the nearby lot. Took several photos. You can walk on either side while the middle section is meant for bikes.
