Beautiful park. Plenty of people biking, walking, rollerblading, and walking dogs around . The scenery is gorgeous, lots of greenery everywhere. Great place to take the family for a picnic or just to get out and get some exercise. Lake calhoun is right there also so you can swim if youd like or just walk, bike, jog, or whatever physical activities you enjoy around the lake. Great place to spend time with friends, family , or significant other!

A beautiful well-kept park and paths that are perfect for walking, running, and biking. Particularly lovely in the fall.

Nice place to walk the dogs & see the beauty of the creek. Enjoy seeing the kayakers & tubers float by when water is high enough. Its never very crowded. Tennis courts seem to be always open. Love the old bridges & watching the wildlife & occassionally swimming or wading in the water. Lots of pokemon spots too.

Rather than walking around the lakes with the hoards of people and dogs take a walk along the parkway. Its really beautiful right now. Charming and peaceful.

Wonderful spot to walk your dog and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature while still being in the suburbs and near all of the action of Minneapolis. Also a great spot to jog or ride your bicycle.

One of Minneapolis great treasures that if yourea resident there should be no way you dont know about the creek runs from my knowledge all the way from Minnetonka or possibly to Minnetonka I know that it feeds the chains of lakes somehow it is amazing the things that will happen to you and the things that you will discover at this rate Creek you will find people tubing down the river swimming fishing or just lounging by and enjoying the water they even caught a sturgeon by a rope last year what you can watch in a you tube video I would highly recommend anybody and everybody to check it out when you get a chance

Big ole bunny on the parkway. Warning it is not a big chocolate bunny do not bite the ears . This trail leads to more trails that connect you throughout the city.

Took a group of hockey boys here to going sledding. They had a great time. Perfect hill for sledding in the winter.

The park is secluded enough that you can almost forget youre in the city. Car noise competes with the creek and the trails are clear. One of my favorite walks.

Really nice place to enjoy nature and walk. Sure its in the middle of the city but it goes on for quite a while and has paved paths on most of it. Not to mention all the trees!! Where there isnt any paved paths, there is at least well worn paths so bikes can ridden there. All in all a relaxing place.

The park is always a wonder any time of the year and great to take friends or family.

One of my favorite destinations in the city. A great place to walk, run, bike, read, or picnic. Lots of families and dogs, and beautiful flowering trees in the spring. There is plenty of space to spread out and there are often fun events in the summer, too!

Built in tree therapy for wheels and no wheels. This is Minneapoliss best kept secret.

Theres nothing more relaxing than to go for a nice walk and just listen to nature! Visiting brings peace of mind, so go and refresh, youll go back again once you know it clears up all the debris we all go through daily!!

The green space along the Minnehaha Creek and Please is one of the gems in the Minneapolis Park system. Joining all the lakes and the biking, running, walking trails, it brings beauty, recreation, wildlife habitat to are residents and visitors. Come and explore! It would take something huge to make me and my family move away from it.

Great walk for a rainy day, tends to get crowded on nice clear days so i havent went out before until now. Beautiful paved and unpaved trails that splits walking and biking trails so you dont have to be run over. Near busy streets so road traffic noise is a thing. Some wildlife and pretty running river especially in the rain.

My fav park in the city. It has a ton of different kinds of environments. It has river access. It has shady spots and great hiking paths. Large open fwilds and a creek. What more could you ask for in a city park.

A lot of stuff hasnt been plowed out yet if youre trying to cross the bridges today or yesterday yesterday was a little too late you probably got stuck and the neighbors help pull you out if its today you still taking your chances snow emergency doesnt start till this afternoon and evening so theyre doing snow plows on the freeways so at least we can see the lanes all the alleys are blocked off so dont bother side streets are a little better on the busy or side streets in the rest youre at your own risk so stay safe guys and gals

Always a great place for a walk, no matter what time of year. I have seen incredible wildlife here, including coyote, river otter, owls, northern flying squirrel, red fox, raccoon, and beaver to name a few. Walking down to the river along the creek is one of my favorite things to do.
