I purchased 2 tickets back in December 2019. When COVID hit you closed your doors. I have called in and I have emailed as well. I would like a full refund. Who can I contact if this is even being monitored? Update....I received a call and I am very happy. My tickets will not expire due to COVID and as soon as they reopen, I will be contacted. Thank you!

This show was fun and entertaining. We enjoyed trying to solve the mystery and interacting with others at our table and others in the room. You can just watch if you want, but I dont think you will enjoy it as much if that is your tendency. I didnt find the answer to the crime to be as clever as I would like. There are many clues, but the actual resolution was not as intertwined as the clues.Im a little on the fence about the price of the show. It was $69 per person and the wine was $9 a glass for a relatively inexpensive flight of wine. The food was better than I expected from the reviews, not great, but not bad either. Having said all that, we would go again.Warning for this location: There is not much parking at the hotel. There is valet parking, but it was full when we arrived. Other nearby parking was on the street and was full as well.

Fantastically fun experience! Great food, lots of fun and terrifically interactive. Did this for our anniversary celebration and it did not disappoint. Mystery kept you guessing until the very end. Highly recommend - great for a small group or large team event. Would do again!

The show and acting were good! The food was marginal and the drinks were outrageously expensive at the event. Overall I think it was overpriced for the entire experience but if its your thing, its probably worth it!

Every day I could go on this season is listed as a Private Event and so I can’t go. Seems like so many of these mystery dinner shows end up forsaking the general public in favor of private parties.

A friend took me to The Dinner Detective for my birthday and we had a great time! The mystery was fun, and the clues were complex but not unsolvable. The actors were all great and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The detectives in particular were fun in character while being personable. Dinner itself was fine - comparable to a wedding or dinner theater. Will definitely be back!

A super fun experience, entertaining, funny and worth the price. Its amazing how the actors arent following a script and basically come up with their words on the spot. It was a good and easy interactive experience, and they didnt make you feel embarrassed. Very well organized. Actors did a great job getting everyone into it.

My mother and I attended a Dinner Detective show and we had an amazing time! I dont remember the last time I had so much fun and laughed so hard throughout a dinner theater event. The show was very well scripted and provided lots of audience participation which made the night fly by. The service and food provided was delicious. We will definitely be back for another show very soon!

Very fun show. It was held at the Courtyard by Marriott downtown. (just off 35W) It wasnt difficult to find. Its near the Theatre in the Round and a bar called The Republic, which I went to after the show and was quite nice. Parking was very easy. There is a ramp right there. It isnt free, but I prefer to park easily and pay a few dollars rather than search for a free place to park and then walk 6 blocks. The Metrodome stop for the train isnt too far away, but it is a few blocks. Its a viable option if you want to take the train. It was different than I expected. I was expecting one of those cliche who done it like you see on TV in mansions, kind of like clue. It wasnt that at all. It was interactive. It also is a very funny and interactive show. The actors are hidden among the audience It is the audiences job to figure out who did it and why. It seemed like stuff randomly happened, but everything tied together nicely. I really enjoyed it. If youre wondering about content, it isnt raunchy. There were a couple things here and there that you couldnt put on network TV 25 years ago. If I had to give a rating, I would say its a PG-13 show. The food was really good. It isnt Michelin star food, but the food was very good. Its hotel food, so think food you would eat at a wedding reception. They also have a cash bar for alcoholic and soft drinks. Prices on drinks were about what you would expect for that kind of venue. It was very good and this justifies the cost. I thought the price, at first was a bit high and was reluctant to get tickets, but my wife wanted to see it. I thought about it and realized you get a show AND a good 4 course dinner. If went downtown to a play and went to a nice dinner beforehand, I would spend way more than what I spend on a ticket.Overall, I would recommend this. I had a great time and had a lot of fun.

I was really hoping to write a much better review, however, compared to other murder mystery shows, this one was poorly done. First, the venue was terrible; a room in the basement of the Hotel Minneapolis with a giant pillar in the middle making it impossible to see half of the time for everybody. Food was mediocre but that is not why we are really there. Plot was boring and overall not engaging. Some funny moments for sure but that is about it. Very disjointed. Many people felt the same way. Not even close to the professional job other companies do in the area (Stillwater for example). I cannot say that I recommend for the price.

For the price, it wasn’t worth it. Mediocre food and poor acting for $80. Wouldn’t go again.
