I took my mom there for her birthday and we had a ball! Due to covid-19 the parking is free right now and is directly across the street from Acme. We saw Mia Jackson and 2 other comedians and it was a great time! Their social distancing seating was very professional and safe and the waitresses were pretty quick with the drinks. Our seats were good, the view from our chairs was great, we felt comfortable, and the lighting was perfect. We bought our tickets online and they were $20 each. My sister forgot to purchase her ticket online, so they were willing to sell her ticket at the door. That was awesome that they had extra tickets to sell at the door for people who wanted to come in or couldnt purchase them online.

Wonderful place to see some great comedy. Both the national acts and local ones Ive seen have been really good. Like all live comedy the audiences can make or break a show, Ive never seen a show derailed by a jerk or a drunk here-managment does a good job of handling that stuff.Cool vibe, good waitstaff-try to get tickets early if you want to sit close to the front.

Ive been coming here for several years and as someone who travels for and attend comedy shows regularly, I highly recommend this establishment. Even on busier or sold out shows, the staff are very attentive and do their best to make sure you get your drinks in a timely manner. The one rare time I did have an issue, the manager was super cool and rectified the situation right away. National acts every week and its my favorite spot in Minneapolis.

I love this place! They always bring in great national headliners and have the best open mic in the Twin Cities! An internationally renowned club right in the North Loop, it cannot be beat!

Had our 16th Anniversary at Acme. We began with dinner there, and our server was great! The menu was short, but the food was good. We appreciated the extra detail with the dessert! Of course, the comedy is what we were there for, and we laughed so hard it hurt!

I really love this place! Was really nice to get out and laugh! But every time I cone here it’s so freezing cold inside! Like very uncomfortably cold!! Wish I had brought my winter jacket!

For my first time at a comedy show in months I have to say I am deeply disappointed with the acme comedy club for the following reason:At a certain point in during the show I lost my vape pen, it fell from my pocket onto the floor. I know this because it was literally the only place it couldve gone that wasnt my pocket. We had no other patrons behind us due to social distancing measures. The only people to come near us were acme employees. One of these employees was the person behind the sound booth, the other person was our waitress. At one point during the shower the former, the employee behind the booth, a bald, red-headed man with a beard, came closer behind us and it was after this close interaction that I noticed my vape pen was gone. My friend sitting next to me said he noticed the man pick up something off the floor. Knowing this, I ushered the employee over, asked the him about it, he looked around professed to not know anything about it or to have seen it.This happened during the main act and as such I was incredibly distracted as I lost an expensive personal item. As such I didnt get to fully enjoy the main act of the show.Afterwards, I politely asked the same employee about the vape pen, he looked ashamed and continually denied knowing anything about it.I also asked the waitress about it, but knew that it couldnt be her because she only ever came by to ask about drinks and quickly went to other tables afterwards.It just sucks to have an employee act in such a manner when the signs so clearly point to their wrong doing.Im not mad about the item being lost Im primarily disgruntled that when I go out to support a local place during these times this is how Im treated, by an employee nonetheless.I want to love this place but I dont think Ill be going back ever again.

We did the dinner and a show. The food was pretty good. Pretty small menu though. The comics were good. I probably wouldnt do the dinner again. I didnt like that all the employees and even the first comic stood right outside the door just chain smoking cigarettes. So you walk right into that when you get there. The comic was trying to bum cigarettes from a bunch of people and looked almost homeless. He would literally walk out there and ask when he would see people smoking.

Good vibes, great service...a nice spot for a comedy date night and enjoy local and uprising comedians.

Acme Comedy Co was amazing! First comedy show in our lives and boy have we missed out. The show you purchase, by itself or with the sticks dinner attached, actually includes not just the person you see on the website. In our case a series (4) great comics came up to spill some jokes. All were great, especially Kevin! Will be back soon! Also, just a note get the dinner. It is economical, delicious, amazing staff, and you get amazing seats. (With the dinner the restaurant staff reserves the best seats in the House for you! Alright now Im really done. Long story short great place, go give them your money and laugh.

Its been a long time since Ive been here. We enjoyed the date night. The food was good but not great. Service was great. Next time, well probably eat somewhere else first. I like variety. Front row seats were decent. Not that I care, though. It was just nice to be up close. One of the pet peeves I have is that some people feel the need to talk and add to the show, which is annoying. No one cares what you think or what youve done. Just laugh and enjoy the show. I dont need the commentary because people think they need to be heard. My god, just stay home.

I have been to this club many times and always have a great time with great comedians that they consistently bring in! Tonight was different however. I came with some friends to see comedy and on the way I started to have pain in my kidney. We got to the club were seated and ordered drinks as we waited the pain got worse and my fiancé said we should call it a night. I want to thank the club for being so generous and allowing us a refund. The show had not started when we left and I ended up having two kidney stones. So no worries this was NOT a communicable illness. This was me having kidney stones so please come out and see comedy at this gem of a club. We will be back! Thank you again, you didn’t have to help us out and we really appreciate the manager being so kind!

Acme is the best club in the Twin Cities, no doubt about that. It was one of the first places I went to when I moved out here to Minnesota, and I definitely go about every other week. Never a dull moment, all the comedians are hilarious. I love this place.

Very good food. We were surprised when the daily special was an extra$15. We should have asked. Comedy show was good. It is a little cramped in there but nothing horrible. All in all, a good time!

Just hung around trying (hoping) someone wouldn’t show up for their ticket to the sold out Louis CK shows! No luck... but met and talked with the owner—coolest man around—and then my comedy idol (who am I kidding...I’m in love with LCK) walks RIGHT by me... not once, but twice. Like 8’ away. I was completely frozen. Couldn’t move or talk. All I know is if he could have heard what was I was screaming inside my head it would be great material

I joined the insider group a couple years ago and once a month they have an Insider Night. You can get two free tickets to the show and if you want you can buy the insider dinner and dinner comes with either a glass of wine or a soft drink. Tonight the dinner was Flank Steak and Mashed Potatos and dinner was great and after dinner we watched the show and there were four comedians. I loved two of the comedians the other two were alright. I love my monthly insider night and alway get the same two seats every month

0 stars. If you’re planning a fun night out with friends I would highly DISCOURAGE Acme. The staff were extremely rude and their no talking(or whispering) policy is 100% followed. I felt like I couldn’t even look at my boyfriend before we were being yelled at. Good comedians, terrible experience. I would recommend The Comedy Corner Underground 1,000x over Acme. It’s a WAY better experience.

Great club, we had the dinner and show package. Service and food were both very good. Service between dining and show was well integrated. I only did it for some mild seating issues, some of the seats have obstructed views but overall a great venue!The house MC was fantastic by the way!

Fun place! The comedians (all 5 of them) were actually funny - that was a nice surprise! The restrooms are sub-par, and since there is a bar that uses the same restrooms, I would think they could muster up an upgrade and a good cleaning.The wait staff in the club were also very attentive!

We had a great time. We eat at the restaurant right there and then went to the show. Jake Johannsen was hilarious!!! The Club and the staff there could not have done a better job with the food and the service in general.

Mike Winfield was absolutely hilarious. Cheryl the older blonde lady was also fantastic. The food and the staff were great as well. All in all a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

We love Acme. It is a fun, intimate setting to see comics in. We havent eaten there but the food looks good. The chairs are comfortable and not a bad seat in the house. Decent selection of booze available and the wait staff are generally pretty great at keeping glasses filled. Its a favorite place of ours for date nights.

One of the best comedy clubs youll go to. Acme is known to be a favorite amongst many comedians. Ive seen Tom Segura and Mark Normand here. Open mic nights are fun. The atmosphere and aesthetic of the building are great.

I just saw Pete Lee tonight and my god, what a hilarious freaking guy! This place is underground and the parking lot across the street has $5 parking for the shows. Im definitely going back soon.

Of the few times Ive been here its never disappointed. Wait staff are always on point and are barely disruptive during the set which is a must during a comedy show. I dont go to many comedy clubs, but Im excited to go here any time I can.

I love this place. Always has top notch service, with low prices for live entertainment. It cant be beat. I come here a lot and its always great. Last Saturday night though the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I had a group of 8 people going to the 8 Oclock show. Well i had screwed up and purchased two 8 o clock shows and 1030 shows. Totally my fault. Staff didnt miss a beat and were very nice and helped me out. Thanks again.

Great Comedians to start off with. The staff is really friendly and get your orders out quickly. My favorite cocktail there is the Bomb Pop the portions of the appetizers are pretty big so it can be shared if your balling on a budget

It was our first time here. It was easy to purchase the tickets, and super easy to get them when we arrived. We were able to walk to the bar and grab a drink prior to the seating opening (30 minutes prior to the show).Street metered parking was available, or there was a parking lot right across the street that had parking after 6:00pm for $5.00.Once inside the room was very comfortable, it was a warmer day and it was air conditioned and nice.Attire was casual to business casual at max. A few people were in polos and nicer pants while others were there in jeans and a nice shirt.Venue was very nice and cozy inside. Every spot had access to a small table for your drinks. Very nice sight lines of the stage and very cozy atmosphere.Overall very impressed and wish we lived closer to come back again.

This is THE BEST COMEDY CLUB!!! We’ve seen Chris Hardwick, Kevin Smith, Craig Robinson, Lynn Koplitz and Louis CK! We’ve also been introduced to a lot of comedians who are fantastic that aren’t BIG League yet. It’s our go to for date nights and introducing our kids to comedy! Sticks has wonderful food, ribs are really awesome. All of the workers go above and beyond with kindness! LOVE THIS PLACE!

One of my favorite places in Minneapolis, no matter the night the comedians are always great. I would actually recommend going on a night where you know none of the comedians.

The comedy club was just great. I loved it. Me and my husband was visiting the state of Minnesota and wanted to see some comedy we had the dinner and show combo. The restaurant Sticks food was great we loved it. The only thing we didn’t like was it was old and it had a little smell to it when we first came in. But the stuff was very friendly.

Its a small venue, the drinks are a bit pricy ($9 for long island) but they give you a bunch of alcohol and it still tastes great, so I think the price is fair.Staff is super friendly, check in is easy, waiter is always on point.Ive seen two shows, Kermit and Todd Glass, both were awesome. Would highly recommend this place.

AWFUL. DO NOT attend this comedy club. It was a packed Saturday, and we were seated so far away that we could not see or hear the actors. We were periodically checked on for “falling asleep” which was clearly not the case. The staff was extremely rude and kicked out my entire party (and others as well I noticed), and threatened to call the police, for absolutely no reason. However this seemed to be an act, and when I asked why the police would be called they refused to answer me. What a waste of a Friday night. Poor management, rude and impolite staff, I will not return and you should not either. Plenty of other places you can enjoy good comedy and a good atmosphere.

One if the neat things this place does is offer up deals and promotions if you sign up for the email blast. I take my wife and friends here every year is they offer 4 tickets for your birthday month. Great dink options and Sticks Restaurant located across the hall in case you get hungry.

We come here often and we’re pretty disappointed after our last visit. We had to change the time of our show so we couldn’t do dinner. It was the first time that we didn’t do dinner and the show, if you don’t your seats will most likely be terrible. We also were double sat so we ended up in even worse seats then what we would have originally had with a pillar and drunk lady blocking most of our view. Also Pete lee was great but it was extremely hard to concentrate due to the servers near the well throwing ice and bottles every two seconds. I got the idea they were rushing to clear for the next show, might be worth it to also skip the first show if your going. The staff also seemed off this night in comparison to previous visits everyone was extremely rude.

Service was great, atmosphere very nice, food was not good enough for the price (I had the prime rib special, wouldnt get it ever again). Bathrooms were worse than Walmarts, for a place that charges $30 for a small nasty piece of prime rib they should be able to put a latch on stall doors!

Monday night is open mic, its free and there are some really good routines, not all but most.

I had heard that Acme was an excellent club with great acts, but I didnt realize how fun it really could be. We saw Michelle Wolf and had a fantastic time. The lobby and bar area of the club are really nice, the auditorium is comfortable and easy to see, and the acts were great. We will be back to see another show soon!

ACME is an amazing comedy club! They bring in great known and unknown acts and the service is excellent. Personally I prefer to eat in the bar area vs the actual restaurant. The bar food is good, its faster, and generally less expensive. Especially compared to other restaurants in the area Sticks is nothing special.

Did the dinner and show package. Got the wontons as app extremely disappointed. However, the ribs and chocolate cake were decent. The comedians were A1 per usual.

Love this club. The energy and the vibe are authentic and the headliners are clutch.

Great comedy. Good service. The theater area is ALWAYS freezing at the beginning of the shows, so bring a sweater, even in the summer! Entree selection in the restaurant leaves something to be desired. Dishes are well prepared, but options are limited and pretty basic.

We had a great family night out having some fun. All the comedians were funny. This was my second time out to acme and wont be the last.

Great comedy. We did the dinner too. New york strip was great. Vegetable werent cooked long enough. They had some fun drinks. My only complaint was the bathroom. It was disgusting. Very dirty and paper towels were not in a holder. You had to pick the roll up and rip some off. That makes me down grade it. If the bathrooms filthy, whats the kitchen like?

Acme is a fun place to go! I usually attend the amateur mic nights. The unknown talent that we have here in the metro is pretty darn good! The only reason I am docking a point is because some of the sight lines to the stage up front are altered by the support beams in the room. Nothing that that acme really has control of though. Great staff!

Its a Pretty good comedy venue that books some major talent. However there are many big pillars which patially obstruct views (but what can ya do)...drinks are good (service can be a tad slow), prices are competitive(meaning not cheap but not overpriced plus no lemon in my first long Island)...there is a restaurant pretty much in the club(same building, different area).

Great time with friends. Greg Coleman was pretty damn funny. Walk your millennium dog man. Derek Hughes is a great magician, and comic. Blew my mind at the end when he had my skeptic wife on stage. Great book too. Nice staff also.

Acme is a classic comedy spot in the Twin Cities. Staff are very friendly and professional and the atmosphere is fantastic. 10:30 shows tend to have their fair share of drunk people. It’s always a fun place to go!

Great place! My husband and I celebrated our 4 year Anniversary here and it was amazing. The food was great and the staff was very pleasant. The show was great and the comedians kept us laughing. I rarely get to see comedy in my home town, being that were from Alabama, so it was definitely a great experience! Would definitely recommend this place!

A great comedy club that has some great comedians. Ive only seen a handful of shows there but they have all been very fun. We usually opt for the dinner package and get there as soon as we can to get the best seats that we can. The food is decent and there are options that are covered by the prepaid dinner charge and some that cost a little bit more. The staff has always been very friendly too.

Great venue! They have a nice restaurant and bar you can wait at before the show starts. This is one of the best standup comedy clubs around, and they attract great comics. The house opener has never failed to be hilarious, too. And in your birthday month you can get in free!

Its easy to understand why the place is an institution. Great intimate room, drink service and seating are efficient, and all 4 of the acts we saw were incredibly funny. Cant wait to return!

Went to the late show on Friday night Aug 2nd, spur of the moment with my husband. as soon as we walked in we were greeting by the young gentleman at the ticket counter with enthusiasm. Went into the club and had great seat, the ushers made me feel good knowing they would keep the side conversation to a minimum. Our server was polite and very prompt with our order. the comedian was super funny, expectably the lady act. Will come back, will recommend.

As of today I have gone to two shows at ACME and plan to go to many more! There is always a great MC, local comedian warm up, and headliner! They offer a student discount for the late shows, which is always appreciated. There is a pay parking lot across the street for $5 after 6 and meters around the club with 4-hour limits.

Security is tight, yet not unreasonably annoying. Theyll let you put your AK back in the car after your meeting pat-down.Comedys comedy. It up and its down. Running a comedy club iw hard business to be successful in. Big-ups to them.
