Beautiful beach! Plenty of beach space, perfect sand, perfect weather, lots to enjoy! Must see. The nightlife for the young at heart sublime! Plenty of outdoor dining and drinking! Bike rental a must! All automated rental system.

Pretty park a nice walk after a meal and a drink. You will see homeless and the mentally infirm but they are harmless. Be polite. There are Citibank bike rentals. They beach is practicing Covid precautions and will ask you to wear a mask on the beach. In the evening there are lights and music coming from shops and restaurants it is a nice walking area. Many patrons on bikes, roller blades and skateboard.

The weather was very windy but nice. It wasnt crowded and people were practicing being socially distant as well as wearing mask. The water was super cold when it first hit your feet.

Park between miami beach (south beach) and famous ocean drive street, known for its nightlife (bars and restaurants). At this time, the ocean drive street is occupied by terraces of restaurants and bars, due to contingency measures only COVID-19. The park has sports equipment that is also closed. The use of a mask is mandatory. Ideal at this time for hiking or jogging. Pet friendly

Lummus park can be a spiritual experience. It really is what you make of it. We are fortunate to have it be open to the public. In it being a public location you will get an eclectic group of people. Be sure to bring sunblock. Respect the seagulls and their space.

Super clean! Amazing views sadly went as lockdown restricted many things. didn’t have any vendors out but it was beautiful. Plenty of activities to do outside the beach such as volleyball soccer bike riding. Lifeguards where there and help with any questions you have also they recommend good places to eat.

Visited during covid. Some of them are wearing masks and some not. Place is kept clean and tidy. Please see trying to maintain 6ft distance. Not many people on the beach. Its a lovely time to go during the evenings.

Very nice beach. Beautiful area. Enjoyed our 3 days here. My boyfriend enjoyed the water and I just like sitting on the beach. We both enjoyed the scenery. I had cards made out of our picture I took of the palm trees here. Cant wait to see how they turned out. Really enjoyed our visit here.

Miamis South Beach is beautiful place due to the architecture and beach. During the day you can take walking tours of Art Deco hotels and other buildings. There are museums of the areas history and people. These museums are well worth the price of admission. The food on Ocean Dr. is world class but the price wont be cheap. I purchased a tall latte at Starbucks for $6.45 in California I have bought the same beverage in a large size for $5.45. So, be ready with your wallet when you visit.The night life in the area reminds me Vegas by the sea. All the buildings on Ocean Drive are lite up with neon. I would have enjoyed the scene in my 20s and 30s, not so much now. However, there something for all so dont let my perspective of the night life turn you off. Good luck on your visit.

Really beautiful beach with nice sand and the water is clear. It also has a narrow but long board walk for walking/skating/biking activities. Reminded me of LA a bit. If youd like a beach bed its about $200 for the day, or Chairs for $60. If you would like to rent Jet skis or even a bed make sure to be there early. The shopping stores and resturaunts are really close walk from the beach. Overall great experience, great weather, warm water, relaxing, lady gets to tan, everyones happy : )

Definitely visit this if time permits. We chose to take ride of this Park on bicycles. It was a great experience. Plenty of restaurants and decent crowd. Sun was very hot but somehow we kept the spirit up and had fun. You can find water stations and public restrooms too. Good way to enjoy Beach without stepping on sand.

Beautiful park with long stretch of boardwalk to bike, roller blade or walk. There are bikes you can rent as well.There are quite a few volleyball nets to play and long stretch of white sand beach.You can walk across the street to your hotel as well as eateries and shops.Pay to park along the street is more expensive than parking in the public garages which is a block or two away from beach and very convenient.All in all, you take in the beauty of Miami.

Beautiful park especially at sunrise before it gets busy. It gets very busy on the weekends, but it’s clean and family friendly. We haven’t had any problems finding umbrellas or cabanas for rental, which only cost $20 ($20 per chair if you want those, but we didn’t a cabana without and it was perfect). Right off the beach there are tons of restaurants and bars for before or after your visit. Versace’s home is right off the middle of the park if that interests you.

Awesome spot to workout in the fresh Miami air. Lots of equipment, and with a beach and bike trails all over you can do your car dio right after or before your visit. Then again, you can get lots of car dio in here on the ropes, bars and other toys in the park.

Great place to just get out and take a walk. Always something different to do and see. Breakfast, lunch and dinner right here on the beach.

We came here on a gloomy, Monday morning and the girls and I still had so much fun. $2 carousel ride (the girl attendant who wore tie dye shirt and purple hair was so nice and cute), we got ice cream, climbed, slid down using cardboard, you have to make the most of crummy days! We will def be back. We love it here.

Oh yep this beach is amaze..relaxed vibes..nice colored water and just a nice time. Def recommend!!Water can be a bit rough for the kids so be careful, lifeguards came around to warn parents which was nice.People feel the need to feed the seagulls for some reason which is pretty silly. Oh well, tourists..

Visited during our trip to Miami Beach. Nice little playground where we got to let kids swing a little while and take a break. Enjoyed walking down the boardwalk.

This is a park and garden, but this park and garden is on Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, how much better can it get? All the art deco hotels face the park/beach and offer bars and restaurants. People watching is a must.

Should definitely stop at this place. Its on the way to Cape Florida lighthouse. The beach is amazing. Its not among the cleaner beaches in Florida but its a good place to click some amazing pictures. The crowd is negligible and it has some free parking too. A good place to sit, relax and enjoy the view

This is probably the most popular beach in Miami. It was very crowded with tourists. However, the place is very nice and serene. I was looking for turquoise water and this place has that. Water is very clear and blue. Superb place to take your friends and family to have fun. No entry fee. I think the park closes at 10pm.

The Artisan Market is a real value add to Lummus Park. I love the different finds you can discover from the vendors and its a win-win because youre supporting small entrepreneurs when you shop there. What they have, they dont sell on Ocean Drive or Collins Ave, so you can still pop over to those shops and look for more. Its a family-friendly bonus to the beach scene. I enjoyed it. Thank you to the City of Miami Beach for allowing this experience in the Park for the residents and the tourists. Keep up the good work!

Lummus park was a great time. My children enjoyed running and jumping. The restrooms were clean and well prepared with a changing table for the baby.

Nice park on the beach overlooking the famous South Beach at Ocean Drive. Famous views but you will visit a variety of people. Some good, some not so good.

I spent so much time here growing up, playing in the volleyball courts, rollerblading, people watching. No place in the world like this.

The water is AMAZING!! And I just looove the strip around the general area!! Shoppn, drinkin, food AND ocean !!

Happening and vibrant most of the times. Lots of games or activities can be found here and the bigger restrooms too.

We’ve tried many south Florida beaches and this is without a doubt the best!Showers, clean toilets, great park, kids play grounds, sporting equipment, beautiful white sand, clear water, AND MUCH MUCH MORE.No bugs or red tide there, and apart from some episodes of brown see weed that every south Florida beach is now accustomed to, the water is always accessible.

South Beach and Lumus Park has become a slum. Trashy people destroyed the vibe and chic atmosphere the ocean drive used to have.

Parked in the garage, the price was descent, employees at the beach were very courteous, just be aware to rent an umbrella is a little pricey as well as the chips, next time I go again IAM bringing my own cooler

Lummis park really is just the gateway into the beach on South Beach. It was very clean and well lit. They had some christmas sculptures up when I went that were very cool. The beach it connects to is also amazing! Very well kept and constantly patrolled by Miami police so it is very safe. The biggest problem is the new law that closes the beach at 10pm!? In my opinion that is way too early.

We enjoyed a good day at Lummus Park - nice weather as well as attitude from all the people at the park. One of the best and cleanest parks Miami has to offer. Parking is too expensive depending on time of day and year. I prefer parking around a parking at the local Bestbuy-store, costs less and you get a bonus sightseeing walking to the park

..Thanks to Boucher Brothers we had 2 beds with umbrellas and canopies. Definitely made our visit much more comfortable.We packed our own breakfast and lunch and enjoyed an amazing Easter of family togetherness.

Great part of south beach. The Art Deco district is right there so you can have a bit of culture and a bit of beach. Nice and clean with the sweet smell of marijuana wafting across the path.

Big beach with a nice entrance of brick and palm trees. Close to the Miami South beach. I saw all kinds of people walking, rollar blading, dressed in suits and nice dresses. Swimmers washing off the sand from the beach. We sat there for a rest. We walked to the beach and its a nice view. It was later in the day and we saw these boarded up wooden life guard stations. Lots of umbrella and chairs stacked. To the right we saw a Cruise ship ship leaving. It looked like it was leaving from the sand. We saw these young men taking pictures of 3 tan life guard beauties. They were showing off and laughing for the camera. How fortunate it was for us to happen apon the place.

My kids love the playground, and since its right by the water, theres always a breeze, which is a must in the dead of summer! The bathroom facilities are always clean. Also, theres plenty of lighting once the sun goes down so I always feel safe. And hello, the view of the Atlantic Ocean is amazing!

Very clean and vibrant atmosphere. Has lots of shopping and restaurants around. The beach is walking distance away which was very nice.

I love this beach...drive all the way down the drive until it ends and park in the covered garage. As soon as You come out there is a path that will take you directly to the beach. The first thing you’ll see is a booth where you can rent tents and cabanas.

We went to this park for the SOBE seafood festival.Every single tent had great food vendors with delicious treats for all of us.We had amazing and fresh seafood from different great restaurants. The drinks were excellent too, my two favorites were Jack Daniels and the chardonnay wine from WS vineyards.They also had fun activities for kids and nice live music.Thank you!!

My absolute favorite Beach Walk! They let you skate and bike. Everyone is chill and people watching is amazing. Theres more homeless people than I remember but they arent beggers most of them just talk to themselves.

The park is adjacent to the busiest street and it is itself busy with skaters, bikers, muscles, runners, walkers, families, partygoers, etc. The body of water, south beach, directly behind park was grander. A lot of jelly fish left on beach after high tide. A group of seagulls took flight and marked the sky with their brilliance-wow! Mangos Tropical Cafe and Wet Willy are adjacent to park. Options are varied for a day of beach, fun, etc..

Great party atmosphere. Alot of food n cool shops. Versace Mansion and the hotel where Scarface was shot at... All of the strip was cool to see. Beautiful weather was a little windy that day. And be prepared to spend a lot of money is not cheap anywhere on the strip. But was very cool to experience and beautiful place

Wow Im actually reviewing a park.. it really has come to this. The park was clean and the trees were trimmed and instead of streetlights, they light the park with these great looking Christmas lights that go up the trunks of the palm trees.These arent traditional Christmas lights that would give you a weird vibe becasue they were still up in February, but instead I use the term Christmas lights because thats what they most closely resemble.But yeah, great place with nice lights.

Always a great view, whether its people watching or not! Lol plenty of activities, outdoor sports like beach volleyball, restaurants and bars right across the street. Plenty of beach access. THIS IS WHERE THE GOOD TIMES HAPPEN!

This park is situated in Ocean Drive in Miami. It is very clean and pretty and takes you along the beach front. Lots of space and palm trees etc.

This place is magical, I was there on a business trip yet found an hour to escape to this gorgeous place. The beach area was great, enough people at the beach but not super crowded. The sound of the waves and the wind was just what I needed!

Nice park in South Beach across from all the retro hotels and restaurantsand next to the beach. Perfect place to sit and relax if you dont want to get to Sandy.

This structure was the remnants of AA NFL event for the Super Bowl it is by far one of the hardest audio visual stages that you will have to create or tear down and I spent a good 13 Hours trying to this symbol thousands of large bolts and nuts and trust systems that weigh hundreds of pounds each it was a good 13 to 14 hour day I highly recommend it if you like labor

I love going to Lummus Park whenever I visit Miami. It is located by South Beach! Nice running path, great views of the Atlantic Ocean and plenty of restaurants and bars for dinner or just a drink close by.

Really nice and happening park. You could do walking. You could do exercises. You could do eat party in near by restaurant and have fun. You could do surf, cycling with rental bikes so its fun. Also the beach is nice and you could not miss sunrise to see.

Nice beach. Like the fact that there are many different types of entrances, sand, mats, boards & concrete. Hard sand for vehicles & joggers then the normal sand to the water. Can rent chairs & towels for $20 a chair. Thats for all day. Or just sit in the sand. Plenty of lifeguards. Blue water as far as the eye can see.

Love It!!! I had a good work out its safe close to restaurants and shopping areas. Make sure you take your water theres no forsets there. Theres no bathroom too but you can always go to nearby restaurants. Enjoy

Lummus Park is a 74-acre (30 ha) public, urban park in Miami Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Along Ocean Drive, the park shows grassy areas and palm trees, alongside volleyball courts and pull up bars. A wavy pedestrian walk, called the Promenade, separates the grass of the park and the beach up to 21st St, where it turns into boardwalk. Just lovely 4 a wedding & pictures; we traveled from afar 2 renew their 10th yr. Renewal Vows.........Atlanta, Indiana(Gary & Indianapolis), Phoenix(The Bride & Groom, Youngest Daughter & Brides Granny & Texas.

Lots of seaweed all on the shoreline and in the water. Other than that, its a nicer beach.

Beach line went on forever, so much beauty yet so little time to take it all in. The pathways were wide enough to accommodate bicyclists and walkers alike. Very enjoyable!

Massive park right on ocean drive with the most beautiful view of palm trees and the beach.Theres an open gym there (free for public). Its got pull up bars, quite a few free weights (dumbbells and barbells).A lot of volleyball nets open for public as well.Showers and water fountains every 300-400m.Must visit in South beach

Great park in pretty good shape. Located between Ocean Drive and the beach. We had great time there exercising. However, it is nothing fancy, just a park.

Always something going on in the Miami strip! The art deco district is full of historic round housing and architecture as well as Versace mansion which is now a restaurant. Highly recommended to see when visiting Miami.

Been coming here for years. The park is 100 yards west of the beach. A wide curvy cement path great for roller blades and skateboards. Art booths, special events occur randomly. Connects to path that runs north and south for miles. Rental bikes available everywhere. Many restaurants across the street. I love this place. There are decent public bathrooms.

Very peaceful beach, no bathroom or showers but a walk down a little ways and there is bathroom and I believe outside showers. Not too crowded for area. Nice little vacation spot to clear your head. No pets at this part of the beach is my only downside I would say.

Great family-kid friendly beach. No European culture that we seen and the waters were great. From the Tampa. Florida area and we are definitely coming back
