A nice view, good vibes and music coming off all.the boats. There are floating restaurants you can swim or walk to and usually someone who wants to include you im a game of volleyball a nice Saturday excursion.

This is a world class sandbar sitting in the beautiful waters of Miami. Its usually swarmed with boaters on the weekend, which is expected considering the spectacular nature of the sandbar. The water is very clear as the daily tides bring clean ocean water into the bay. The depth of the sandbar ranges from about 6 feet at the deepest up to completely dry land. There are large areas of water that are very shallow, about 6 inches to a foot deep. There are several food vendors in boats, most of which offer kayak delivery straight to your boat. Overall, an amazing place to spend a sunny day with friends, drinks, and music. Great for people watching too. This is a truly special place that makes Miami unique and I dont think there is another place like it outside of Florida.

One of my favorite places in the area. I bring people from all over the world to enjoy this sandbar. Always entertaining. It can get extremely crowded during weekends and nice and quiet during weekdays, your choice. Shallow clear water, very clean considering thousands visit this place weekly (thank you everybody). Food boats during weekends, if too crowded then anchored on the south sandbar.

I spent the day with my family and friends we had a fabulous time. I could live at this Sandbar.. we were able to cook, drink, and they had food boats that delivered on the water.. Truly a spectacular day

Love kayaking with my family to this sandbar. A lot of sites to see from the manatees to stingrays and the buildings surrounding this sandbar. Way more enjoyable during the week as the week days tend to be more crowded. We kayak/ hit the beach weekly and love coming here, I would definitely recommend Haulover Sandbar. FYI you can rent kayaks, canoes or paddle boards at Oleta River and sail right over!

Our best weekend spot. The sandbar is great there are usually 2 or 3 Pontoon board with food. So in lazy days we dont bring any food and buy some hamburgers. Water is warm in summer.Lots of people on Saturdays

Toning else quite like it, traveling South from Broward you immediately see the water color change. Find a spot and watch the shenanigans unfold.

We come here regularly and beach the catamaran at mid out going tide. It allows us to have about 6 hours of grounding. Great for having bbqs without bouncing around. We only come here during the week as weekends it is far too busy. If you like busy party life environments then the weekends are for you. They have food boats that will even deliver!The water is clear, at low tide in some spots there is even dry sand to walk on. Being South Florida the water is warm. Even in winter the water is not that cold, Id rate it warmer than the south coast of Australia in summer.As can bee seen from the pictures, weekdays are quite deserted. Pictures taken during noreaster with 20mph winds.

Great spot to spend a day on a sandbar.

Really nice area to chill & enjoy the water. There’s usually floating restaurants selling their goods which is totally convenient. Even ice, ice cream & beer! It gets a bit crazy sometimes & unfortunately people throw their garbage on the water.

Such a beautiful and nice place to park your boat and take a dip in the ocean we had a blast and there was not a lot of people so we enjoyed ourself .

One of the best sandbars I’ve boated to in the world. Tons of fun, canoes selling food and drink, and it’s sandy and shallow (3 - 3.5 feet) where we were, so it was really comfortable.

Relaxing, fun in the sun. Great spot to go to, especially holiday weekends. If you dont have a boat, rent a kayak with some friends and head over to the sandbar. There are usually floating food barges that serve pricey but good food.

The view is stunning! You can jump off the boat and feel that you are right on a pool.

Love this place! A little crowded on the weekend but mid-week its possible to enjoy this little spot alone. We rented from Sundown Boat Rentals. Their boats are close and affordable.

Awesome spot! The water is clear and shallow, we rented a boat and thought wed be taking it all over, however we spent the entire day here.

It’s really nice from Monday to Friday.I’ve visited during the weekend too and it’s like been on a fully crowded club.If you like to have some room, swim, and enjoy calm, go during the week. Probably Saturdays.

Cool place to hang out

This is a difficult one to describe. Its pretty and a good place to anchor your boat for the day, but summer weekends are insane with tons of people, tons of drinking, and tons of loud reggaeton. Weekdays are much better. So, its five stars on weekends if you are a party animal, one star if you are looking for natural beauty and peace. Reverse that during the week and I guess it all averages out to three stars.

Great place to hang out and be seen. This is a large sandbar and plenty of parking for all kinds of boats. There are also different food vendors that come via boat and even offer delivery. If you have never been you are missing out. Come via boat or kayak but see what its all about.

Great place to go with friends or family. We got there around 10a.m. and it wasnt too crowded. There were food boats that delivered your food on a kayak, so cool! Overall, awesome experience!

Good times. Hang out, have a few drinks and enjoy the scenery. The water seems to be fairly clean, all things considered.

Absolutely worth boating to. About 3 feet deep at low tide and five feet at high tide. Fairly well trafficked so expect other boaters to come by, police boat also swung by so wouldnt get too wild out there.

Such a cool spot to hangout in. Food boats often around for a drink or meal. Walk in there middle of the bay and enjoy the weather,water,and unique atmosphere.

If you enjoy stopping on the water and enjoying a relaxing time. This is for sure the spot. Drinks and food boats here all the time. Deff recommended

Definitely a must do if you have a boat or jet ski. Food right there to choose from. Everyone gets along and are just there to have a good time.

Great place to hang out, but some boats can have raunchy people doing obscene things. So be mindful if you want to take the family.

We always enjoy ourselves. We go with family and meet friends for the entire day and into the night. We’ve my wife and I have even gone alone. We have never had a bad day and this includes the day we had to be towed.

Great place to go and hang out on the boat. Water is nice and clear. The sand brings the water to your hip depending on your height sometimes lower. There are great food trucks out there and plenty of fun!

Keep an eye out for rental boats, people are idiots who dont know how to drive.If you rented a boat, this is a place you need to go and hangout. Nice spot! Unfortunetly there are dumb dirt bags leaving broken glass bottles half buried in the sand. The little one stepped on one and got injured and I walked across an other one shortly afterward. Crowded over the weekend, loud music... Eclectic show!

Just pure joy. Me and my kids had a blast.

Its a really busy spot during weekends. Ypu can get off the boat and just walk or stand in the sand, in the middle of the water, thats what attracts soooooo many people. Theres a water bar that caters drinks and light food, in case you forget some snacks or want something to drink. Every boat seems to be on their own, no interaction at all. Each boat has loud music and people partying in it. I enjoyed it for a while but it gets too crowded.
