Experience of a lifetime if you are a movie buff. Got to see the T-100 from the Terminator series, Bumblebee from Transformers, very bench Tom Hanks sat on in Forrest Gump and a lot more. The guided tour offers tonnes of information and trivia about how some of the best movies ever were shot inside Paramount and you’ll be surprised to learn how some of the scenes were shot. There’s lot of studios inside where a lot of shoots take place daily and if lucky you might jump bump into some actor you like! Must visit if tripping along the west coast of the USA.

We took the VIP tour which was 4.5 hours long, included a fantastic lunch, behind the scenes looks, a walk through Props, the Sign Shop, a walk onto a working set, and interactions with people from different departments. Our tour guide, Scott from Rockford, was quite engaging and knowledgeable. Id gladly take another tour with him. The VIP tour was most definitely worth the extra ducats!

Great LA experience. Stopped by here for a tour just on a whim. Walked right in and joined a group with only 2 other people. Since it was Super Bowl Sunday, it was a quiet day on the lot so we got to see a lot! Christian, our tour guide, was great. He has a passion for Paramount, and the industry. HIGHLY recommend!

The tour was great and staff were super friendly. Our tour guide was very cool and energetic. No fault on their side. But this tour is not for everyone. It requires the right audience. For the price you pay, you need to know what you are stepping into to not waste your time or money. I’m not giving a five star rating because the tour gets kind of boring within an hour. The buildings look dull and lifeless. Take this tour if and only if you know every movie that exists. Unlike universal, not many movies were filmed here. There are some blockbusters that are filmed here for sure. But not so sure everybody knows them or if teens or kids would enjoy this tour as it doesn’t have any activities to get them involved. If only this place had some virtual interaction or some fun things to indulge the crowd in, I would’ve rated 5 stars.

My tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately the tour itself was pretty boring. We only went into one sound stage and many spots were off limits due to the sets being in use. Most of the tour consisted of driving past office buildings and sound stages which was cool but I expected more. It would’ve been cool to have actors perform a scene in a real set or stunt actors do a few stunts. Perhaps even visit the costume department and have someone from the tour dressed up like a character from a movie. My tour was late in the afternoon and the place felt like it was closed which was similar to the eerie feeling of visiting a mall right before it closes and everything is shut down. If you’re in the area, I would recommend visiting the studio and taking pictures from the outside. You’ll still be able to see some sound stages and the iconic Paramount Studios sign. The tour is just not worth it in my opinion. Boring and overpriced.

Lol... Its funny how when youre so into watching a TV show or a movie, everything seems so real to us! Yet when you take this tour its awesome to see what it takes to make a show our own with just plenty of plastic walls and props, with that imagination there is no limits... Our tour guide Bryce did a great job keeping us intrigued with what a studio can do to bring something into life. The small prop room was pretty cool. You guys should use one of those huge empty studios and use it for your props from ALL your movies and shows. Turning it into a museum, an addition to your tour, that would be awesome! Thanks Paramount for a cool tour! Dont forget to bring chocolates for your stewardess..(lol, tour inside info)

What an awesome behind the scenes look at Paramount Pictures! We learned so much on our tour all thanks to our awesome guide Max! Max was super knowledgeable and we loved hanging out with him for the two hour tour. Learning about the behind the scenes and how movies and shows film certain things was cool. I feel like I’ll look at what I watch in a different way now! My favorite part of the experience was going on the actual sets! It was fun to go around “New York” and the “Grace and Frankie” set was beautiful and fun to see in person! The last stop on our tour was the prop area where we got to see things like the Turbolift from Startreck and the Cadillac from Dreamgirls. Really cool to see that stuff in person. Highly recommend Paramount Pictures studio tour!

This was a great tour of a real working studio (not a theme park) given by tour guides out of film school who aspire to become pages, then production assistants, and then further up the food chain. There is plenty of free street parking nearby or you can park for $15 at a lot. Our guide was Alexa and she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous. She made sure to answer all questions and gave a great history of the lot. I recommend reservations (tours are every fifteen minutes and last 2 hours). There is a $5 off coupon at most hotels (you can also google the code online).

What an enjoyable time. Led by a fantastic tour guide, Maria, we were able to walk behind the scenes of Paramount Studios in Hpllywood. Her knowledge and personality shined as he catered to the interests of the group. The history of the studio, the actors, those behind the scenes that make it all come to life were presented in a log. The skills of what happens on the lot goes far beyond the actors/actresses, producers, directors and writers. All of the special people whose name appears at the end of the movie when a lot of folks get up to leave...special effects, the woodworking, costumes, lighting. All of it was truly amazing to see how a movie or TV show goes from an idea to the screen. We were also allowed to ask question to those who work at Paramount for even more insight to how things work and how they do what they do. You will enjoy the tour, the professionalism and hospitality shared by the staff from the moment you arrive. While a bit slanted, Christian was a fantastic host and tour guide. Thant you Paramount!!!

Wonderful facilites and we got to see Sir Elton John. Was a little taken back when an intern told me they did not have a seating section for the disabled. I was shocked that Paramount would commit such a huge oversight, especially an ADA sort. When we were allowed in theater...they were full but were wonderful to let us stand, we wouldve be crushed to get so far and not have been let in. A woman snapped at me because I was near her and it was the section for disabled people. I then went and spoke to very nice gentleman that apologized for the intern and let me know that they do in fact have a section for the disabled. He quickly accommodated my guest. A great experience, beautiful theater and once in a lifetime experience! Thank you Paramount!

I would suggest that if youre looking for a tour that features fiberglass sharks that leap out at you, read no further -- because this is not the tour for you! However, if you want a bare-bones, nuts-and-bolts immersion into the workings of a TV/film production facility -- with a barrel-full of entertainment history thrown in, THIS IS IT. From my research, and I did plenty, this is the best value of all the LA studio tours. We were the second tour that stepped of on a Saturday morning, and I believe there were not more that seven or eight people total. Our tour guide was Guya, and she was excellent -- if not a little too chipper for me at 10AM. However, she never made us feel rushed and had an answer for every question I flung at her (Half-way through, I realized that I was the only person asking questions. But, I quickly shed my bashfulness, recognizing that this was the fulfillment of a dream of a lifetime). There were more highlights than I should go into for the sake of brevity. Just standing at the Bronson Gate was a thrill, as was the backlot tour, a walk through the set of Grace and Franky and Dr. Phil, and....and....just being there. I have just two criticisms: The backlot tour was abbreviated, because part of it was being used for a current production, and the self-guided tour through a room with set pieces seemed perfunctory -- almost an afterthought. But beyond that, a chance to see how entertainment history was and still is being made -- without all the theme park clatter of other tours -- was a dream come true. For the price, the Paramount Studio Tour was well worth the money, and I highly recommend it. (PS: Parking is nearby but cost $18. Do it. Just do it. )

To be honest, i was a bit underwhelmed by this tour. There were lots of interesting parts of the lot we were unable to see or take photos of, for example the area made to look like New York where there was a music video being shot that day so were unable to get up close to it or take pictures. I was not completely convinced it was worth $60. If you are a serious film buff and know a lot about the history of film making, you would find it interesting, but unfortunately quite a lot of the people the guide referred to went over my head as they were from a bygone era. We got to see the area they use for water scenes (a parking lot the rest of the time) and the studio set where they make Grace and Frankie. This was quite interesting to see how they make it appear on TV having seen the studio set! Also the ‘prop store’ is quite a small selection of items from past and in many cases lesser known films. I think this tour is a triumph of marketing over substance!.
