We didnt have a car, so we followed the Google maps route and ended up walking from the south side of the park. There were roads with barely any sidewalks and no pedestrian crossings, so we had to run across the roads.Apparently there is a hiking trail from the northern part of the park that leads here. That would probably be way better if you dont have a car.The top had an amazing view of LA, you can see the stadium and even the Hollywood sign, but the area did not seem like a safe place when it gets dark.

Pretty cool place to watch the sunset. Only a short walk back from parking on the street which seemed readily available. You can hear Dodgers games from here, and it’s a really unique view of downtown. It seems a little bit sketchy for lack of a better word, but I didn’t see anything suspicious happen while I was here, so I’d definitely visit again, hopefully soon. Loved seeing everything turn orange as the sun set, and it’s a pretty unforgettable view of the stadium when this happens.

This provides an easy view to LA downtown and also the Dodgers Stadium. I can imagine this is a very good place to Dodgers stadium fireworks. Come around sunset and go to both secret swing and angels point. It will be totally worth it!

Its closed at night but you can sneak in kind of.Be aware of homeless though and a motorcycle that passes through.Small hike past hoursOnce inside the park theres a viewpoint but be aware of homeless here. The homeless lady took the best spot in the park and decided to camp on it. Which is the best way to get caught/encounter people.Theres no path ahead so youll be forced to walk back with her yelling to leave. To the left of the park is fine but the best spot is the right of the park.

Despite the annoyance of classic LA traffic, this place is amazing. I found it on a website that had a list of must shoot places in LA. The hike was so easy, especially because of the cooler weather. And it wasnt busy at all. There were plenty of spots to set up a tripod. We got beautiful shots of the skyline and the moon was right behind us.

I like this spot and its view of Los Angeles. During baseball season, it’s a spot where you can easily hear the game without having to be stuck in stadium traffic and at sunset this is a good alternative to more busy areas in Elysian Park. But, there also a lot of trash in this spot which makes me angry (just clean up after yourself, it’s honestly not that hard) and for some reason this seems to be a spot that attracts people who are up to no good more than other spots in the park. So use at your own risk.
