Love coming here and walking around, a great place to enjoy a meal and art!! On a nice day this place is just sublime. The book store has just about every cool coffee table art book you could ever want, and lots of other cute gifts.

The industrial grunge gallery is pleasurable for fans of that aesthetic. There was only a small section of the gallery available when I visited. I enjoyed the fact that most of the artwork displayed were works that could be purchased and werent limited to paintings. It featured an array of sculptures and three dimensional pieces.

Always something going on here. With two galleries, a theater/performance space, artist studios, and artist residents. Super supportive of local artist with a good number of affiliations to promote and exhibit their work. Truly a Gem of the Arts District.

1412 Cute space, which features one main room and a smaller gallery. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and answered all my questions. I came to see my friends exhibit, whos art was displayed among several other local artists. The main gallery held the Satans Spa Day exhibit, which isnt half as scary as it sounds, with its bold colors and catoon-like features.

An interesting gallery. I was there for a movie screening, but the art in the gallery at the time I was there was of good quality and interesting. They teach art classes, but none were in session the week night I was there. There is free parking (at least in the evening) across S Hewitt Street(NW side of the building).

This is a curiously compelling multi-use gallery space. Im honored to be part of an ongoing project thats using one of the classrooms in the building as our workspace. While this project could benefit from the classroom space being soundproofed, clearly aural art is not the sole focus of the space. It was delightful to be working while surrounded by so much creative energy on a Saturday night in DTLA. Id love to know who was playing near us... oh wait, theres a Google for that! Lol

Cute little hole in the wall art gallery. Free to view the art there, so that’s nice if you’re in the area. It’s always nice to see other people’s perspectives on the world. Some artists there really paint from the heart and if you read some of their bios or explanations of their art, some will make you tear up.I could really relate with Arak and the very deep pieces on display. Thanks for a lovely experience!

Great place for those who really want to express their artistic side. I attended this great place when I was in High School... I meet wonderful people and had some good times. I also worked on the artwork thats on the front wall of the parking lot across the street from the building(the one with the world and the kids faces). Good place... keep up the good work.
