Best park ever! It is well-maintained and very beautiful. Extremely huge! You cannot see everything in one day. The layout can get kind of confusing so look at a map beforehand. There are various activities for everyone from museums to outdoor activities. I enjoyed looking at the pretty gardens too. Check this place out for a nice breath of fresh air.

Excellent placer to bring the kids. The California Science Center is free and seeing the Space Shuttle is only $3. Exposition Park is a gem from my youth. I spent a wonderful few hours here. Perfect family activity if your kid(s) is 5 and under - just enough activities to burn off the energy but not so much that everyone wears themselves out trying to cram in everything. I was lucky enough to get a deal on day passes from Living Social so our family of 3 only paid $18 instead of $25.

I love this place. The dirty corn was delicious. I also tried the mutt dog which is half red and half green dog in one. I am not a fan of bread so Im pretty picky when it comes to that. The lobster bread that was used on the hot dog was yummy! I even took one to-go for dinner. If it didnt take me over an hour and a half to get there I would go every weekend.

We were in the area to go to the Los Angeles History Museum. Their parking lot was closed due to capacity however, we saw a lot of available spaces and cars leaving. So. We had to park by the Coliseum. The fee was only $12.00 to park. It is quite a walk to the museum from this specific lot. This is disappointing because, we are members of the museum but, nobody has parking priority. The museum was very busy the day we visited. It was still a great time. We keep passes so we can meet my daughter and/or my sister in law, brother and niece. On this day one of my daughters, son in law, son, sister in law and her wonderful mother were with my husband and I. It is between the cities we live in and it gives us the opportunity to spend time together without any of us driving too far. On this day we visited the gem exhibit. It is vast with a lot of different gems and stones from all over the world. It is remarkable to see the way they form naturally. The exhibit also has a vault area with some amazing jewelry on display. In addition, there is a gift shop where you can purchase different stones and gems. We also went to the childrens exhibit. They feature live animals throughout the week. On this day we were able to see an opossum up close. The staff will talk about the animal in detail and educate the visitors. This event is geared towards children but, adults love it as well. The exhibit also houses live rats in an enclosure where they can move around and climb overhead, as well as various examples of taxidermy. It is interactive and a terrific place to feed young minds. It has changed since my children were young. Weve been going for years. My adult children visited the massive section of dinosaur exhibits. It can take hours to see everything in this area. We saw dozens of bird specimens in the Hall Of Birds. Of course, there is much more to see but, we focus on certain areas each visit. The food at the restaurant is okay. Not much seating. The gift shop is alright. The inventory doesnt change much but, we do get discounts on purchases with our passes. The restrooms are clean. This is one of my favorite places to go.

Surrounding it are the Natural History Museum (about $15), The California Science Museum (which is free for permanent exhibitions), the African American Museum (free) & others if I remember correctly.
