Its a cute little park, but dont go fishing there. I made the mistake of blowing 7 hours there trying to catch fish... at a pond that doesnt get stocked with fish. Even though there are signs there saying fishing is open to the public, the number on the sign is outdated. In other words, when you call it, you get a message saying its out of service. When I called the current ranger station or park, they said they dont stock the pond. Long story short, its a great park, just dont go fishing there.

The playground equipment is old, but still a fun stop and usually not very crowded. Small lake nearby and a river that is fun for finding crayfish in the summer.

Small but notice place to rest

Beautiful park and pond (fishing allowed) in which to relax and play. Lovely big trees and green space that is beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed feeding the geese and ducks and walking along the big sidewalk the quiet, scenic park.

The geese have totally overrun a once nice park. The sidewalks are more droppings than concrete. The geese are loud and aggressive. It would be nice if jeffco would implement some kind of pest control program, as they are an invasive species.

Something has to be done about the geese. Pretty pond, small but nice playset, a few picnic tables, but you cant walk without getting covered in goose poop.
