After moving out of Littleton in 2002 I make it a point to visit the memorial every time I am home. Take my kids to show and teach them. I was a freshman at Dakota Ridge High School, a neighboring high school, when this happened and I will NEVER forget the fear I had being in lock down during this tragedy. Forever in our hearts! Beautiful peaceful memorial.

Been driving for over 6000 miles and this was the most touching, emotional stop on the tour so far. Some of the quotes are sad others just plain inspirational. Overall a worthy stop if you are in the area.

Its a beautiful place. The outer ring of reflection is filled with quotes from people directly impacted by the tragedy. The inner ring of remembrance has beautiful descriptions of those who lost their lives at Columbine. As a survivor, I am thankful this place exists. Thank you to all who help maintain the memorial grounds.

Sobering! To see this place in person actually allowed me to feel MANY emotions. Sadness. Scared. Adrenaline. Loss.So many people lost their lives on this day in 1999. I pray that our nation will learn from this horrific tragedy, and be able to love in a new way. God bless all of those still affected by the Columbine Massacre.

Im mexican and I was born a year after this tragedy happened. But I was very moved when I saw what happened, especially the story of Kyle Velasquez and the difficulties caused by his mental problem. If I had met him, I wouldve liked to be his friend. What do you think, would you wanted to be his friend too?I hope one day I can go there to offer my respects personally.- Today is April 20, 2020, 21 years of the tragedy. I cannot be present at the memorial, so as a tribute, I decided to try to draw the victims, in order not to forget them. First, Kyle Velasquez, who dreamed of joining the Navy like his dad.

A very moving emotional place. I will forever remember those who lost their lives here. So many sad attacks since then and we still cannot seem to ban assault guns or do better background checks...but seems there has to be something that can be done. This place is a place to reflect on the past and try to be better moving forward.

A very special place that very respectfully pays homage to the tragic events of 42099 and the lives lost and altered on that day. For many, this remains a tough place to visit but it is, when not crowded (and on most days youll have it to yourself) a place to find peace and solace and to spend time contemplating what was lost and can never be replaced.

20 years almost past and I still get trauma by getting flashbacks during that incident. So many changes after 2 decades. At that time, Nokias and stereo cassettes were a thing. Social circles were mostly gatherings in the flesh and not by social media. Prejudice was really hectic during its time and bullying was a prime factor to breed terror and fear. A time when security was really vulnerable. Its really crazy how our lifestyles changed over the years and hopefully this school year would help make us remember the fallen and be a hero. A hero with strong faith, not just to impress our loved ones. But all our classmates and staff as well. Dont let envy and hate control your emotion, because it will definitely will cause permanent harm to everyone and ourselves. I hope for the best to all of you students!

Our team came here to pray and immediately felt peace as soon as we started walking close to this memorial! We felt like there were angels that were keeping watch over this site! Praise the Lord! We will see a chain reaction of Revival with a capital R come out of this place! The place where the school shooting spirit originally manifested is where the Lord is going to take back those children who are His by manifesting Himself even more!!!

Its hard to know what to say about a place like Columbine Memorial. Its not a place you visit for recreational purposes. There are 13 plaques, one for every victim, with reflections from surviving family members. Some are hopeful, some are sad, some are angry. Together they echo the grief of all the families who lost a loved one that terrible day. With a small waterfall, and carefully tended flower beds, it is a beautiful, peaceful place that invites reflection on the frailty of life. Tread lightly and with respect.
