Great place for a nice nature walk

Nice fenced dog park with water available. Can be very muddy sometimes. The dogs you meet here are charming, the owners less so.

Good large sized park. It has two sides of which only one is open at a time which I assume is to give it time for grass regrowth and maintenance. It has tables and benches that are shaded for summer. This park hardly has mud or ice built up in the winter which is great for my car because my dogs stay fairly clean compared to other parks in the area.

Great place to take the dogs for a walk. Trails, plus an off leash fenced in area. Birds of prey frequent this area as well. Would give it five stars if everyone picked up after their dogs.

Great walking trails, especially with dogs. Most regulars dont make a big deal if your dog is off the leash, but I wouldnt do that if your dog isnt trained to handle human or other dog contact properly. You might get someone who gets your vehicle tag and calls the police.Dog park there is excellent though.

Great park but the Google maps directions dont get you to the park itself. Just to the parking lot. After that you have to walk a trail parallel with the road, past some trees to get there. The map will tell you to walk a different way. Big park, lots of water bowls. A kiddie pool would be fun!

Plenty of dog bowls and lots of space for pups run around. Tennis balls are left around the field just incase you forgot to bring your own to play fetch.

Fairly large park for dogs to run around with benches and tables for sitting. Usually pretty busy with lots of doggos.

Clean dog park with water for the dogs.

This is a good place for your dogs, mostly clean, easy to get to, well maintained. Chatfield & Cherry Creek are way bigger, but this is a fair, easy, inexpensive alternative. And dogs love everything, so they never complain.

Great dog park with well behaved dogs. I would recommend bringing your own water as the fountains always get a little crowded. Also a great place to walk around the small trails and give shy dogs the opportunity to socialize from a distance without overwhelming them.

Great dog park

Love this dog park! It is small-ish so you dont lose sight of your dog and there always seems to be other little guys to play with. It is easy to find and conveniently located. It also has grass so you can even take your pup on rainy days. The puppy water fountain is an added plus to keep them hydrated and happy.

The area was well kept. But the careless dog owners with large breed dogs just let them run wild and chasing all the smaller dogs.

There are two pretty large off-leash sections. It has a nice double gate entry so no doggos escape. Often its clean, and there are water fountains in the warmer months

I love this park for my dog. They have 2 sides one for large and one for small breeds. There are trails stl around to walk on leash aswell. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that I have been to parks that are a square mile plus and knowing they exist I cant give this park 5. However for a neighborhood dog park its as good as you could ask.

Nice area, there are benches and a covered seating area. There is lots of room for dogs to run and friendly people to talk with. The open space around the park is nice and the nearby creek is pretty.

Nice compact dog park. Kinda tough to find the parking your first time (on Platte Canyon across from Skate City entrance).People and dogs are friendly. Owners could do a better job looking up after their dogs on the walk to the play area.

Awesome place to take your dog

We take our dog here pretty often and she seems to like it. I asked her how many stars to give it, but she was more interested in being pet. It could maybe use a little more shade, but theres really no good way to make trees grow quickly outside of radical radiation treatment. That kind of treatment yields unpredictable and unstable results though, and I think the last thing we all want is having our dogs eaten by rampaging tree-mutants. If you do in fact want that, maybe this isnt the place to bring your dog - since most people who go here seem to genuinely love their pets and enjoy letting them play with other dogs.

Great park to run to sit and contemplate things. A plane to run the dogs and have them play hard, wear off their energies playing with other dogs.
