A tiny park but a very compact and adorable parks! Definitely on my list of top 3 favorite parks in Nebraska! So many places for pictures and picnics with friends, family and pets! I highly recommend this park to photographers looking for locations in Lincoln for photoshoots! :)

Would be 5 stars, but the city hasnt collected garbage and the fountain is empty. Otherwise its a beautifully maintained park thats very peaceful.

I was so happy to see that the park was so well kept up when we were there, the maintenance and improvements done in the last few years really show. it is a great place to take pictures even though the neighborhood can be kind of rough. My girls had fun sticking their hands in the fountain and playing on the equipment and looking at all the pretty structures.

On this occasion I was working across the street, not visiting the park. It looks like some of the brick work has been changed. This is an especially nice little neighborhood park that is popular for weddings and other events due to its special character and beauty.

I got married in Hazel Abel park under the gazebo. Its a very special place. I definitely recommend it for weddings.

Great place to shop with helpful employees.

Beautiful park available for special events. The gazebo is a particularly nice place for wedding ceremonies. This park offers beautiful fountains and columns, as well as nicely shaded, ornate iron work benches. Its also centrally located.

Had a friends wedding there but to many bugs

Its small but its always very clean and for being in the middle of the city once inside the park youll forget you were theres swings and a play area and a fountain its a nice little retreat in the middle of town.

Very pretty and well maintained Elephant sculpture seemed out of place.

This is a relatively small park. With a playground, a gazebo and fountain. It is relaxing and no matter where you are you you can see your children playing. I highly recommend this park.

Hazel Abel is stunning. I enjoy it there on warm summer evenings- it reminds me of a mini sunken gardens.

Shining jewel of the Near South neighborhood! Beautiful and well maintained park. A perfect spot for professional photos, small gatherings, and even weddings!

I absolutely love this little neighborhood park. Its super quaint and has tons of flowers in the spring. The childrens play area is small and efficient and has a nice rubber mat so if they fall it doesnt hurt like the ones with gravel under the jungle gyms elsewhere. The fountain is also a great area to sit and reflect. Its never really crowded unless theres a wedding party having pictures done. I recommend a visit even briefly youll fall in love with this neighborhood oasis.

Its a small, beautiful park. Its a great place to sit quietly listening to the birds, read a book or just regroup. Its in the middle of a neighborhood but feels like its own little world.

My brother and sister and I have been going to this park since we were young we have grown and changed and this park has changed with us over the years . It is most beautiful and very relaxing and a great place for children to play and all around a great place for people to come together.
