I love going with my family every now and then! Its worth the 30-45min. drive there.Its so spacious, and going over to the huge wooden castle play area is so fun and kind of magical no matter the age

Beautiful park with a peaceful lake as one of it’s many attractions. My children love the petting zoo and numerous playgrounds within the park. A peaceful place to surround yourself in nature, spend some quality family time or just get away. I also love that the park is dog friendly and has paved paths to walk.

Always love coming here! For the most part I see responsible social distancing. But, if youre coming to sit for a while, bring your own folding chair and sit away from the paths.

A beautiful park. Enjoyed all of it with our grandchildren. Walked everywhere, had a great picnic and enjoyed every minute we were there.

These ducks are some of my earliest memories as a child. As well as the petting zoo animals, but especially the du is and fish in the pond!

I’m very angry . The really nice new playground is still closed off. Every other playground has been reopened and the other ones that are there. It’s stupid to not reopen this one playground. I have had to drive farther away to other nice playgrounds. Fed the hell up.

Very large park. Great for pictures and walks around the pond. See turles and a fish including some very large koi. Also has a large pavilion, various picnic tables charcoal grills, jungle gyms, bridges, gazebo, and plenty of parking. I am looking forward to the free concerts coming back once we are past covid.

A refreshing semi-urban oasis for Lancastrians and those on longer journeys. Well-shaded, plenty of covered picnic areas, places for children, adults, and families alike to recreate together or separately. A well-planned park.

Lost a little of its appeal...used to allow ice skating in winter and concession stand was open more frequently. But, still a nice place for a family to enjoy a picnic or play.

Whats there to dislike about the biggest public park around? And it is big. Great place to kick or pass around a ball, for picnicking, for kids to play. During the summer they usually have free concerts which are pretty popular and well attended. Home of the local Sertoma chicken festival. Its a good spot. Just less than a mile down the road from the city and from Rt. 30. Very accessible.

Longs Park is awesome. Its very spacious and beautiful. Its great for walking, throwing frisbee, picnics (they have grills and picnic tables set up all around the park), meeting with a friend and much more. There is a 1 mile long roadway circuit that you can walk or run along with a nice pond with ducks all around it. Its a great park for kids because it has swing sets and play grounds set up all around it. They also have a petting zoo on the property. There is something for everyone here.

A gem in Lancaster... I often ride my recumbent trike there. I love seeing people using the park for walks and picnics.

My wife is orginally from the Lancaster area but now we live about 2 hours away. Lancaster is our favorite day trip and we love to get delicious treats from Central Market and have a picnic at Longs Park. It is such a lovely, peaceful setting! We love sitting by the pond and watching the ducks!

The bright blue water of this park is beautiful! There are big open fields with pavilions and occasionally a concert will be held here. There is a small island in the duck lake and you can sit in a small gazebo and this park is great for kids and people that love photography.

Its a nice park but not well maintained at all. The pond is dirty you can see dead fish and plastic floating. And the crowd is not great either.. people were feeding the ducks and throwing all kinds of food in the water when there was a sign right there prohibiting it. On the plus side its a nice park to relax in or to walk in. Plenty of Picnic tables as well. Overall its a decent option for a summer afternoon.

Wonderful Park to enjoy the annual Long Park Art Festival. If you enjoy Art this is the place!! For over 40+ years the Crafts is Unique from around USA.

Very pleasant. Adults, teenagers, kids, babies and cats and dogs. Peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of benches and picnic tables with plenty of space between benches and picnic tables. You have your privacy. Huge property which also gives privacy. Wegmans is close to the park. Pick up your sub and drink and head to Longs Park. Cant wait to go back. And yes, some ppl wore masks most did not.

This has to be one of the nicest City Parks in the country. In spite of being surrounded by horrible things like highways, Malls, Industrial parks, and Millers Ale House, somehow once inside this park a magical serenity overtakes your mind and body and you can just relax and take in the music and watch the families playing or picnicking. Concerts in the park are fantastic!!

A great place for the family. A new playground that has been there for a little more than a year with a lot of new gadgets and great fun for the kids. Also, theres a petting zoo open on weekends, a pond, and a least 4 more smaller parks. Plenty of pavilions.

Very family friendly. Beautiful pond with lots of ducks. Adorable goats and Donkey. Restrooms on site. Vending machines with drinks. And the summer concerts are alot of fun! Also an AMAZING Pokemon Go hot spot! With 5 gyms and alot of pokestops

This Park is Awesome for Everyone. I gather with my family and friends play sports, Bbq, take a walk. Its a very enjoyable place EVERYONE just has a great time. Do reccomend....

What a great relief from my Wegmans visit...this oasis of quiet and serenity, even with the band warming up for their evening show! The kids had a great time running around and playing in the VERY nice playground across from the amphitheater.A very clean park, great for a picnic!

I usually love going to Longs park. great place to get outdoors and enjoy some nature and exercising. However, this most recent visit I was surprised how unkept it looked- full garbage cans, weeds, and the pond looked dirty.

An absolutely beautiful park! There is alot of parking, playgrounds, a petting zoo, pavilions that are available for public use & may be rented for private events (birthday parties, renions, etc). They is a pond w/ducks but please be advised feeding the ducks is not allowed. They have an ampitheater that hosts concerts. Longs Park has an allowed craft fair, at Christmas time, they have a beautiful Christmas lights display that you drive through! & So much more!!

I cant believe this is my first review because Ive been volunteering at the art festival for about seven years now. Many changes at this years show. No live music this year and some of the food trucks did not make an appearance in 2019. The art show was outstanding, a real gem in the Lancaster community. The lake is a nasty color green and there was a dead bird floating near the shoreline. I have never attended any Sunday night concerts because I am not from the area and Ive heard that they are really fun. I hope to volunteer again in 2020.

It was a beautiful place! We stopped here to eat our lunch and it was so peaceful with the fountain in the pond!!

Attended a summer series concert featuring Allegro Orchestra. What a beautiful evening with wonderful music. The park was an idealic setting for the concert.

This is a beautiful park with lots of natural beauty. Theres a lake with a paved area for kids to ride scooters and bikes on. Theres a whole bunch of pavilions there that can be rented. Each Pavilion has a little playground right next to it. They took down the wooden play structure with horrible sight lines and put up a brand new one fully enclosed with the fence which makes it easier to keep an eye on your Littles. We love the spark! Oh and dont forget the petting zoo which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Though I dont come as often as when my family and I lived in town, the walk around the small lake at Longs Park is always a tranquil and enjoyable experience. The kids love the petting zoo in the summer, and the musical events are a treat.

So beautiful! When the trees are blooming there is no better place to read a book on the bench!

Nice place to have a picnic. Walk and get exercise. Watch all the different ducks. Sit and relax alone for me time. Kids love it here.

Great place to experience live music! Variety of shows over the summer, so you can choose what you like and /or see others and experience something new. Bring a chair or a blanket. Some people bring their own food or you can visit a food truck. A great time for all ages!!

Beautiful park with a man made small lake that has a trail to walk around also has a childrens playground thats pretty big two full basketball courts that are currently 2 beach volleyball areas tennis courts even a petting zoo also has grill areas and few pavilions almost forgot it has stage for live performances plenty of parking lots of shade

Longs park is always a nice place to visit. I had not visited in a few years. I was sad to see the big park has changed. I do love that the park has only one way in/out. As a parent, it makes me more comfortable allowing my child some freedom. However, I thought the old wooden playground offered a more unique play space. All that said, we will return.

Great park to have piece and quite during this time of lockdown

I took my Great Granddaughter there to check out their playground. It was terrific! It had rubberized squares for the kids to run on and I didnt have to worry about her falling as she was running around. She made many new friends because it was crowded with families. Great place!

Great large park near Lancaster city. Theres water, tons of parking, walking trails, waterfowl, cooking spots, playgrounds, a petting zoo, and an amphitheater. Ive been going to the free summer concert series for years. It is truly unique to Lancaster, and if you havent been, you should go some weekend and see what its all about.

Every looked nice however disappointed that the biggest and best looking play ground was locked up and closed

This is one of my favorite places in Lancaster. The open field is a great place to let your kid run or fly a kite or just look up at the big, white puffy clouds that appear so frequently during the spring and summer months. There are several little playgrounds and it’s nice just to take a walk around the lake. My absolute favorite is to come here for 4th of July. My in-laws introduced me to it about 12 years ago and every chance I get, I try to make it back (I think I’ve been to at least 5 or 6 of them?). Make sure to get some kettle corn!! It’s the best around.

Amazing park. Lots to do with the kids. It’s unbelievable how big of a park it is. I hate that they got rid of the castle park. Still so much to do. Love the free summer concerts. Every year for 4th of July you’ll find our family of 7!!!

Cool park, minus the dude that appeared to be stalking me while I was there. Its a big park, it was the dead cold of winter, and he kept showing up after Id move to another location. I finally approached him and he left. Weird...

Nice place for a dog walk

This is a pretty decent little park. For being centrally located, and frequently busy, there are still a few peaceful locations. Good place for wedding photos. They have good 4th of July fireworks with music and food trucks, but is extremely crowded and chaotic when it comes time for everyone to leave.
