I love coming here to exercise!! There all these ducks that make the walk pleasant. Its about 2 miles if you go around twice. There some shade so you dont have to worry about the sun as much, but i do advice that you walk during the cool weather it makes it better. Its also has playgrounds for the kids. I would take some bread to feed the ducks they are friendly. Will definitely be coming back. Also the restrooms are clean!!

This is a little hidden gem in the Antelope Valley. From the 14 freeway you exit avenue G ( everything is alphabetical in this town or numeric), Make a left off the freeway heading west and it is about a six mile drive from there. While youre in route to the park stay in the left hand lane and you will get a surprise as you travel over the musical road ...which literally plays a song with your tires... Super cool!Once youre in the park parking is great There are several trails that are paved which are easily accessible for handicap persons via walkers or wheelchairs, dog walkers, bicyclist or just a wonderful stroll around the lake.I believe it is a 1 mi loop or you can cut through the middle and do a half mile loop. There are other little trails across the park that are more scenic and are not paved.. So have fun exploring other options. You can bring bread or your fishing gear because theres plenty of ducks to feed and the lake is always stocked with fish.During non-pandemic years there is an annual fishing contest at this lake as well. Also there are several playgrounds along the route and several picnic tables. However, due to the pandemic the playgrounds are currently closed.Definitely a nice little scenic walking area. This is a man-made lake that is basically an oversized duck pond .So leave your bathing suits at home because its not fit to swim in.Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Ive only been to the park twice, but it is wonderful. The restrooms are cleaned and very well maintained. The atmosphere is beautiful, if you like walking, there is a one mile walking path around the lakes that is awesome.I feel its a very safe atmosphere as long as the practice social distancing is respected by everybody.I know that these are tough times for everybody, but please wear a mask protect yourself protect your family.I know these are tough times, but if we do the right things we will all get through this.God bless and please stay safe ️

I used to love coming to this park. Now I believe one of the ponds filter is broken. We smelled a bad odor and the water was green. But some other ones are clean and we still got to see some ducks to show to my toddler, stroll around and play in one of the playgrounds with her.

We love walking at Apollo Park. The trees are big and beautiful, the water is visually peaceful, and there are many varieties of birds. There were even Pelicans and Herons there! On the hottest day, there is a pleasant breeze, and the Park is generally neat and clean. Kudos to LA Co Parks!

As someone with a spinal cord injury and wheelchair bound, and also someone who enjoys fishing, it seemed quite difficult to find places that I could get to without the risk of rolling into the late. The docks are nice, but I would have baked after 5 minutes. I would like to see some upgrades to make the park more accessible and would be willing to give advice.

What a great place smack in the middle of a Dessert. I came here to bring some kids to feed the ducks. We bought loafs of bread at the 99cent store and went there just in time before they closed.*****They Close at 5pm******On the way there on Ave G, youll ride on the Musical Road. Which was the coolest thing ever! The park is a very secluded location. As your driving you can see a bunch of trees far in the distance, well thats the park. It has a jogging/bike path. People fish there. Theres a playground, etc.Great place to go, awesome view of the mountains, plenty of hungry ducks. Free parking. Highly recommend to visit with Family.

Its a great park. Theres fishing, bbq pits, trails, concession stands, playgrounds, etc. And a bunch of geese. Dogs allowed on leashes and watch out for coyotes. No alcohol and no swimming. Theres also a musical road section on G if youre coming from HWY 14. Stay on the fast lane. Its pretty cool. Kidsll love it. Adults, too. Lol.There was a fishing derby today (03/07/2020), but it was cold and breezy.Oh, and I got to see an old fighter plane take off from a runway right next to park. That was awesome.

What a great park to get out and stretch your legs. About 1 mile around you can really get a nice walk in. Amazing park! Pretty, although man-made, lakes as far as the eye can see in this desert oasis. Lots of trees line the lakes and near perfect sidewalk. Its a breath of fresh air to come out here and take a walk, take the kids, or sit and read. Its also a great date spot, with plenty of things to look at and cool shade to picnic during the excessive heat of the summer. If you havent been here yet, youll feel like youve left and gone far away. People seem to be in great moods and just enjoying themselves. Plenty of families come here.

And good place to BBQ with provided BBQ grills placed all around the park and the bathrooms are also placed all around the park and I recommend that anyone if they have the chance to go and check for your self and I will guarantee that you will like it and have a great time.
