Was a well groomed course for running a Florida trail run. Multiple courses of different distances to enjoy.

This was my first time here! And it wont be my last! Its so Beautiful and peaceful plenty of space to exercise and walk enough space to have a picnic and much more! Enjoy please be sure to keep this park clean and that means cleaning up after you pets!

Used to love this place but between the events and the early closures Im sick of it. Google says 7pm and I drive atw there to be told its closing at 530. Not a public park anymore.

I love this place my children run on it for cross country season really hilly course but great.

Great park! Holloway Park is a huge park mainly use for cross-country races so they have extensive trails but many options depending on how long you want to walk/run. There is wide open space as well as dense forest and marsh. Lots of options whether youre trailblazing, playing Frisbee, or bird watching.

I go for a walk out here when I need to get away from the house for a while. Peaceful and quiet.... Just wish there was more shade in the park . Very very hot with no shade to cool off or water fountain for a drink

Really fun! Went my family and some friends. Spent almost an hour there, it is a nice place to go if you like walking or seeing nature and spending time with family!

Well kept... variety of trails. Sandy main entrance is a little tricky, so drive slow. ;)

I love this place. I wish I had a park like this when I was growing up. Maybe I would have fallen in love with running before my 30s... This park is always well maintained and a beautiful place to run. Just dont try to get your run in on Monday or get too close to the lake. The signs are there for a reason.

Great park to burn off some stress and calories. Staff does a great job keeping up the trails.

Running trails are well kept/mowed. Very few people using trails during the day. Lots of room for kites, frisbee, pets, etc...

Really hilly but a fun cross country course.

Most beautiful place in Polk County to hike and/or run! Plenty of space for your dog to explore, (please bring poop bags).

Holloway Park is easy to get to and it has marked grass walking trails. The trails arent very long, but they are well maintained. We went in the morning before the grass dried so we ended up with wet shoes and socks. If youre looking for a scenic walk, this is the place.

Ive only spectated here, but the layout and parking seem to be great at handling cross country meets.

This park is perfect for walking and jogging! So many species of butterflies in this park as welll... Gods perfect masterpiece!!!

Had a wonderful time here...nice and peaceful. Queso loves to play ball especially if theres plenty places to run. We had a blast sornding the day here.

So glad we found this great park! A decent easy hike in a beautiful and serene setting thats still close to town.

Cross country course made me die

This park is maintained well all the time! A great place for a run anytime! Weve been here for several cross country meets and on a quiet Saturday and both times the place was clean and inviting. Keep up the great work!

A very nice park located off of the beaten path. It is clean, and well maintained. Definitely a place that has multiple uses. I happen to be there for a Cross Country Event.A great spot for a Cross Country Event. It was able to accommodate many schools, and still had a lot room left. This would be s great place for Yoga Enthusiast, Nature lovers, and anyone else that loves nature .

This place its so much fun to go! I always enjoy it there. I go for photography because my running days are over but I would have loved to run at 2.

End of the day, great place for a walk with a dog. Quiet, only a few others walking/running.

Great place to walk or run. Very small elevation changes on whole trail but enough so you dont feel like you are walking a flat track. From 3k to 10k trails. Some areas full sun other shaded so you arent getting baked in the sun the entire time.

Great place for sporting events! It is very large with lots of parking, however it is a little hard to find off of the main road.

A little taste of paradise right in our back yard, this place is bound to be a hit with humans and dogs alike!

Hot as it could be and muddy but I still loved this place. So many trails to choose from and 4 different races to chose from. Coming back very soon

This is a great place to walk, jog, or run for exercise. They have a variety of trail lengths, and all of them are very pretty.

I walked the 3km trail and it was beautiful I would not doubt that all of them are just as beautiful as the others.

Its a beautiful place for oneself, or others you wish to spend a great time with.

I love the trails here! Everything is wonderfully maintained and my pup has a great time barking at the wildlife. There are some hiking trails as well as running trails, but no paved trails that I have found.

Perfect place for the Cross Country race, entrance could be improved

Went there with a group of geocachers. This is an old former phosphate mine that was minimally reclaimed by the owners. Has very interesting rolling terrain with lots of trees and nice vistas. Has enough shady areas, so not always in the blazing sun. Many people bring their dogs - must be on a leash.

Pass this park all the time and never knew what I was missing. Love hiking and these trails are pristinely kept up. Took my kids school (SMA)function to find out. Will be back!

Very well-kept trail with great signage. Just not much shade and if there is a bathroom, I’m not sure where it is.

Great place to run in nature without having to worry about bikes. Trails are cross-country style and well maintainedmaintained. Even provide a little challenge at times. Highly recommended

Beautiful park, almost fairway like trails.

Favorite place to go birding because i can be there so quick. Eastern meadowlarks are there consistently, as well as Loggerhead shrikes.

Great place to hold a picnic or birthday party, they even have a screened in picking area for rent that have grills inside with water.

Love coming here for cross country races. Great course and one of the few that are a one loop course. Lots of shade and no pavement running. Great spectator areas too. I take my team every year.

Very neat place with fun trails. It is old mining area so lots of hills and other unexpected features. There are also portable toilets located on the premises. None of the trials are paved. All grass and sand. Would rate a 5 if bikes were allowed but I dont understand why they are not?

Awesome place to have a cross country tournament. I cant wait for regionals this year! Not sure what else people do there. Maybe hike or walk?

Great trails for running, all looped so easy to add miles or circle back. No perm. restrooms or water so come prepared.

You can definitely see a lot of wildlife.

I was really disappointed when I drove almost 30 minutes and the park it was closed. Nothing on the website or Facebook said it wouldnt be open. Due to rain it closes so I guess itll never be open in Florida summer

This is my favorite place here in Lakeland! My husband, our dog, and I come up here as often as we can. Its very quiet, theres wonderful walking trails that just go on and on. Its secluded, heavily wooded, a beautiful Park!

Wonderful Nature Trails on the east end of the park. While for runners of all types the west end has all length trails for cross country or just a short jog. Check it out.

Great trail runs, 3k, 5k, 8k and 10 trails. Also good nature trails that are not part of the trail runs. Good for walking/hiking with no bikes or trail bikes allowed. Facilities are port-a-pottys and bring your own water.

This is a really big (362 acres), wildish privately owned park in the city! It has long, beautiful nature trails, a lake, and several different kinds of habitats. There is no entrance fee. Its mostly used for hiking. Youre not allowed to hunt, fish, or camp here without permission. There are no significant facilities. They hold long-distance running events here occasionally. Its perfect for quiet hikes, bird watching, geocaching, and getting back to nature.
