We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the historic time period and what Christmas was like in 1797. My children loved it and want to revisit it in the daytime.

I give this location based on how badly i was treated by Marble Spring main office & John sevier farm house. also how poor the tour guides are. i found only one tour guide to be excellent. you find out why on each review i do at all their locations. the tour guide here was young, very soft spoken, only knew the basic. we were not greeted and had to find an employee to take the tour. she was nice in a shy why but needs more training but the site to give a better tour..

Great venue for a car show & proceeds went to a great cause, but...the show was very disorganized, no judges, and the event staff didnt seem to communicate with each other or know who was doing what. Otherwise it was a good turnout.

Most people that visit this place doesnt know that there is a well here that was filled in many years ago . But my grandfather lived here back in the 1930s and told me about it .... he said the place is haunted .... also when people look at this concrete or marble stone think Alexander Ramsey is buried here but he isnt... he is buried at the three Rivers boat dock location.....My grandfather told me that he has seen a man with what looked like a cowboy hat on standing outside looking in one of the front windows.... and would just fade away .

A beautiful and historic location just off the main road. It would be a great field trip for anyone. Ask about the ghost in the house! Nice gift shop with plenty of local handmade gifts including rings made from Tennessee quarters!

The place is gorgeous. We had a guided visit which taught us all about the history of tge family which owned it and is a pilar family inthe history of Knoxville. It felt like going back in time. We enjoyed the park very much, our knowledgeable and kind guides as well as the little shop which offers a variety of books, locally made items, postcards and rareties such as sugar cones and tea bars to grate. A perfect moment out of time.

Wonderful little gem. One of the first houses built in what is now Tennessee. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the property and its history. Tours take roughly 45 minutes to an hour, and the staff are always more than happy to find an answer to any question you have if they dont know already. Vintage baseball games played with rules from the 1860s are played on the grounds most weekends as well, which are always interesting to see. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this historic site by random search on our iphone while passing through TN. This was an amazing place to visit and our delightful tour guide was very informative sharing many stories from the Ramsey family. It is most likely that the Ramsey family and our Bryan Family were friends with the same gentleman, Rev. James McGready during the turn of 1800. Just imagine discovering that over 215 years later!
