This is a fabulous, interesting, educational tour of the home; youll learn about the family that lived there, and a lot about the early history of Knoxville, too. It is definitely worth your time when visiting Knoxville, and the entry fee is quite reasonable. I was fortunate to have Penny, a docent, as my tour guide. She gave a great tour, readily takes questions, and know a lot about the home, the family that built the home, and its history.

What a great piece of local history the only national landmark in East Tennessee well preserved and the staff could not be more welcoming and informed they took the time to give me a tour 10 and is quite exceptional Michael Jordan is quite an asset at the facility It was fantastic to learn more about East Tennessee and the creation of the state of Tennessee and the story of William Blunt 1st governor of the state and served as a us senator until he was impeached and removed while worth the effort to go downtown and visit this jewel

The guide was very informative and although the house was not as nice as some others it has great potential the house was not kept in the family so therefore it is missing alot of historical artifacts but the history is there

The tour evokes what living in this part of the country was like 200 years ago. You can totally picture the triumphs and disappointments, this family faced. If you ignore the fact that a city has surrounded the house with unflattering parking structures, you can place yourself in that time period.

There arent many original artifacts in the home I belongs to William Blount. Most of what they tell you are just speculations.

Not enough original structure or furnishings for higher rating but the tour was very informative. One of only a few dozen constitution singers.

Not sure how this place is so special. Mansion is a gross misuse of the word. More like, old 2 story home that is falling apart. Really nothing to be missed if you are around here. Id recommend spending 30 minutes of your life elsewhere. There is nothing to see.
