I do hope they are able to fix it up for a museum. It was neat to walk around the building and see it in person. The area is rather run down, sad with such rich history

It just totally blows my mind that Disney corporation can make a billion dollars off of one movie but totally ignore where it All began for Mickey mouse at this building! Laugh-o-Gram Studios - Thank you Walt Disney? For what? Walt Disney children and grandchildren ought to be ashamed of theirselves for letting their legacy of a happy happy happy happy Land look like this!

Old building where Walt Disney used to chill.

Nice to see where it all started. Cannot go into the building. Hopefully there is enough interest to preserve the history of Walt Disney.

Good to see the Laugh-O-Gram Studio studio restored from its state of disrepare in 2004. However its been near 15 years since the start of the Thank You Walt initiative and the promised museumesq experience is yet to materialise which is quite sad. Sad as it is mainly as this studio is in a generally run down part of town. I believe this attraction would stimulate some growth in the area.

This may be biased because Im a big Disney Fan...but I think it is worth coming by. It is literally just a building with hand painted drawings of Walt Disney on the wall. We peaked through some broken doors and saw inside. We think it was worth the visit

After Thanksgiving dinner I brought my son to the Laugh-O-Gram Studios building to show him where Walt Disney got his start. I wanted to show him that it doesnt matter where you start, its hard work and dedication that will get you where you want to go. I also let him know that despite LOGs failures Disneys refusal to quit enabled him to build an empire.

Nothing really to see as it is just the building. There is an effort currently going on the restore it to its former glory. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Garys review provides great context. I echo his comments on the importance of the building being restored to preserve this piece of history in entertainment.

If you are a Disney fan then it will mean more to you, but still a cool place to say you went too.

Walt Disneys Laugh-o-Gram studios was a heartbreaking, dismal and, seemingly, final failure. The beginning...Where an empire began, despite the fact that, when Walt Disney and his rather pioneering group went belly up, the building had been repossessed and all the equipment inside was seized to pay off creditors.Disney was bathing at Union Station and eating out of garbage cans after that failure. His fellow employees, like Friz Freling, Ub Iwerks and others were not faring much better.Out of sheer desperation, Disney broke into his studio, stole a camera, sold it and bought a one way train ticket to Hollywood. Not even a century later, his company practically owns Hollywood. This building needs some serious love and remodeling. Also, its not in the best neighborhood. The longer it stays neglected, the greater the chance itll be wrecked by vandalism or something else.It deserves preservation. Does someone want to lend a hand?
