This neighborhood really out did themselves ! We got there around 530 pm on a Saturday and only had a 40 minute wait before getting into the neighborhood. It really was worth it. We put Christmas music on, shut our lights and let the kids sit in the front. It was perfect - and not to mention it’s free!

I live in this neighborhood and find it extremely frustrating that I can’t even leave my house after 5pm. God forbid there’s an emergency and an ambulance needs to make its way through here or someone needs to drive someone to a hospital, they would never make it on time. People getting out of their cars and walking the streets while cars drive around with NO LIGHTS ON is baffling to me. It’s just a matter of time till someone gets run over. Music from cars blasting till well over midnight. Not everyone in this neighborhood supports this ridiculous fiasco, I feel for those that work nights and just want to come home after a long day of work but Instead they have to wait an hour just to drive a couple miles down Girvin. It looks as though people have caught on to entering Girvin on the North end, traffic is backed up all the way to Gately. Insane. Always look forward to December ending each year.

The traffic is crazy. Id love to go when everyone else and their nana wasnt there too one year we were lucky enough to go on a quiet night and It is just so pretty without tons of car lights

You will feel like a kid again

The light display that this neighborhood puts on voluntarily for FREE is phenomenal! My husband and I were in awe looking at all of the overhead lights, the colors, and taking it all in. This was our first time visiting this light display. I would love to eventually do something similar in my yard in Middleburg!Note to self: Try to visit this light display earlier in December. It has rained the past few night when we wanted to go see the lights, so we had to wait until Christmas Eve. Traffic was backed up over a mile and we sat in traffic well over an hour to get to the display.

Ive been coming here for well over decade and its always amazing!

This is only my second year of coming to this particular neighborhood for lights since moving here and I absolutely love it!!! Honestly this area and Crystal Springs seems to be all about the Christmas spirit! Although, there is a wait to get to the neighborhood, please be patient, it is so worth it! From what I understand, the neighbors have been doing this for 15 years and they dont mind the traffic jams! Must be a lovely place to live! Thank you all for spreading the cheer! I think this is even better than the display at the Morocco Shrine.

I love going every year to drive through with my grandsons. I just wish that there was police directing traffic so it would flow better. I have also visited neighborhood light displays before that had you tune in to a specific radio station and handed out candy canes and/or hot chocolate for a small price. Just wish they would add something like that. But my grandsone love it. And I do enjoy the experience with them.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Patience and courteousness is a must because traffic gets heavy at times.

We were visiting family and they took us through this neighborhood. It is very impressive even though only about half the lights were working, we assumed due to the heavy rain the area had that day. Not much bad can be said about an entire neighborhood decorating their homes with such spectacular displays for the holidays.

An entire neighborhood who takes the time to create an awe-inspiring light display for the community. Truly a sight to see!

If want to experience an out of this world Christmas light display then you must come visit this neighborhood during Christmas. I hope this great light display continues into the future.

Fantastic display! Slow drive through neighborhood and appreciating the lights after dinner with a 3 year old granddaughter was thrilling, especially while hearing her enjoy the lights, as well.

Worth the hour wait to roam both subdivisions and see the lights. I remember there being more houses decorated last year. There were a few bah hum bugs mixed in this year.

Favorite place to take the kids to see Christmas lights every year,

We drive through here with the family at least once or twice every December and are never disappointed! If you go on a weekend, make sure you check traffic before and come in from the north end if possible.

Absolutely beautiful

This neighborhood really put on a show! This is the best place to go in Jacksonville to view Christmas lights! Your children will love it! Although, you may wait an hour to 2 to ride through the neighborhood, but the wait time proves it is worth it once you arrive in the neighborhood.

Display was beautiful and lots of very creative looks. That having been said, it is beyond irresponsible that there was no presence from JAX PD to assist with traffic. There was more than a mile backup on Girvi as we were leaving. Displays on both sides of a major street. This would be much better served with lots more traffic controls. If you really want to see it, plan on arriving early.
