Beautiful place and good local wine. A little more character and better quality on cheese platter (mine were a bit dry from fridge) and this place would be a 5 star for me.

Summerset has a really nice setting for enjoying live music, which we did on the day we visited. We had to pay a $5.00 cover charge per person before we could park, something I have never done at a winery before.I have to confess that I dont consider myself a wine connoisseur. My wife enjoys trying new wineries, and we travel with another couple with the same goal in mind. All four of us agreed that the wines here were disappointing. We each have different tastes in wine, but none of us found a good wine in our wheelhouse. The mulled wine was a satisfactory exception.

Beautiful winery and great experience for my bridal party this weekend... honestly was the highlight of the weekend for me. Staff was so informative, friendly, and accommodating. Not far of a drive from DSM, and completely worth it!

Went to the winery for the first time today. Amazing staff and the owners are incredibly friendly. He spoke about his wine process and taught us some new wine fun facts. He even took time out of his day to give us a tour of his facilities. We will definitely be back!

Nice place for an indoor/outdoor event. Attended a bridal shower here. It was clean, very nice and private. The tables and linens were provided (though our table was wobbly). Staff checked in several times to be sure we were taken care of. Beautiful outside venue as well. A bit dusty on the way in as you pass over some rock roads.

I love the winery and have a couple of favorite blends. I wish they would stock the shelves in Mason city, is more regularly. They used to keep a steady supply of Caba Moch and Harvest, now they rarely have them in stock.

Wonderful winery! Had our wedding there and the staff was absolutely amazing!! Amanda went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The wine is delicious and the views are gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Visit during state fair. Very nice, clean, & helpful staff. Beautiful place for a wedding even have a bed & breakfast. Staff very knowledgeable about the wines explaining each one we wanted to test. Bought glass of wine with some cheese, sausage & crackers to sit outside on patio. Staff cut some sausage & chesse put on plate to take outside. Bought some wine was asked if wanted ice pack for wine so would not get to hot in carBeautiful view. Will go back to take a tour which found out about later. Highly recommend

Great wine and atmosphere, probably my favorite winery in Iowa.

I have been to this winery several times including for my graduation party. I really enjoy coming here in the summer months on Sundays when they have live music. Its a beautiful venue and a great place to have get-togethers or events. I also enjoy all of the wines that I have had. Cant wait to visit again this summer.

Over the years, we have officiated many many weddings at Summerset Winery. Had a wonderful experience this year at Meghan and Calebs wedding. Our bride, and especially our groom, were an outdoors natural couple. With their hearts set on a wedding outside on the deck near the vineyard, on their wedding day it rained and rained and rained. As the ceremony timing approached there was a break in the rain, and the Summerset staff went full gear, sweeping off the deck, setting up chairs,..wiping them down. About the time they were all set up it started sprinkling again and then stopped,....and once again the Summerset staff swept the deck, wiped the chairs,...almost ready to go, and it started sprinkling again,..third time, and again the Summerset team swept the deck, wiped the chairs down and then the sun came out,.........and stayed out! The ceremony shined with excellence. Thanks in part to extra effort and commitment to dreams by the Summerset team. Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and the wine! Bob Pace played our favorites that we mentioned to him and the wine paired perfectly with the cheese, olives and cornichons that we brought. If you want an excellent Sunday afternoon, consider Summerset Winery on Sunday afternoon with friends!

My husband and I stopped to get a couple of bottles of wine to take to Thanksgiving. Being unfamiliar with Summerset wines, we werent sure what we would like. The woman who helped us was able to describe the wine very accurately and we could tell that she is passionate about Summerset. She matched us with a wine that we would never have picked on our own. It was an enjoyable but brief stop.

We had a great time, the atmosphere, music and wine were perfect.

We had our wedding at Summerset and had an amazing experience! Their team really went the extra mile to make sure that the event turned out great. They were knowledgable, easy to work with, responsive and their rates for services were beyond competitive in the DSM metro area. I highly recommend their venue for weddings.

TERRIBLE!!! Grew up in Norwalk and Indianola, looked forward to giving back, doing business with them. Was quoted a price and charged a different amount. Owners in France and do not seem to care. So disappointing!!!!
