One windy day but the exercise was needed. Check it out.

For a nice stroll go to the 3rd hill north of the hill with the sign. There are three high points west of the road. The southmost hill has the most official parking and the sign. Lots of tall yellow sunflowers surround the parking area in late summer. The biggest challange to hiking in shorts are the blackberry plants throughout the grasses. The 3rd hill from the south has the wide mowed path. Some compass plants , like a sunflower, can be seen from the path. There is even some purple blazing stars in places. This was an August hike.

Great natural area. Saw quite a few native plant species. A good prairie remnant example. My tracks were the only human ones I saw.
