The color factory was awesome!! Each exhibit was focus on Houston. For adults it cost $35 . It was so bright and beautiful with different colors. A mask was mandatory throughout the exhibit. Several snack/ treats were given (macaroons, popcorn, ice creams,& candy). Also, was given a chip to scan to take photos and they were emailed to your account. Great experience

This is where you go to experience childhood again. There is a MASSIVE ball pit, a room with jumbo sized markers (that work), balloons, flash frozen ice cream (comes with admission), CONFETTI!!!! Not to mention they have cameras with excellent quality in key places around the building for photo opportunities and access to these photos comes with admission! Parking is the only issue here, but it only cost $6 for the garage when we went so it isnt the worst. Its better than a ticket.

Its a fun place to go to. Lots of photo opportunities. Place is clean and disinfectant on every room. They give you a token so that you can take pictures with their cameras. Parking is a bit of a hassle since you have to park on the parking garage across the street if there isnt any available in their parking lot, which is very small. You do have to buy tickets ahead of time but over all its a great place to go to.

They give you treats during the course of the visit too. The My Mo ice cream at the end was awesome! Figure at least an hour for your visit. We parked across the street on Kirby at the Kirby Connection parking garage. Was $6 on a Saturday night for about an hour and a half visit.

So much fun! I didn’t expect to have such a good time, at first I was a little worried it wouldn’t be worth the money. I was way wrong! Each room had a little take away to go with the experience, super cute and not an additional add on. They had photo opportunities with great cameras, all photos were sent immediately to my email after the experience! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

The Color Factory brings out the kid in everyone. It is such a fun place to go with your lover, friends, or children. The confetti room is my favorite for pictures. I think we stayed there the longest. You can stay in any room as long as you want but once you leave, you cannot go backwards. There are multiple treats along the way. I have no allergies, so I was able to enjoy each treat. You are given a photo token at the beginning so you can capture multiple angles and everyone in your party at once. There are photo stations placed throughout the factory. The photos are automatically sent to your email. There were about 2 boomerangs as well. Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I was expecting more photo opportunities. A final photo op at the end would be great, with the Color Factory logo or something in the background. It is still a fun experience. We spent over an hour in there.

Our daughter, who was visiting, suggested the Color Factory. We drove down from Spring, Tx, to go see what it was all about. All the tickets were sold for that Saturday. So we purchased tickets for the next day. When we got there, we found out that parking is very limited. We paid for parking across the street. We bought Tickets online and had a time to come to the Color Factory. The staff were very helpful throughout the experience( one of the staff came to help my daughter when she lost her ring in the ball pit!!). Started what we thought was going to be a museum like atmosphere. We were wrong! Very interactive with a clean (sanitizers at every station), hands on experience. We are in our fifties and my husband and I had as much fun as our daughter. The price is a little pricey, but Im sure you can find discounts and or coupons. We found it worth the price, you will too!

Color Factory is one of my favorite places in the world. I visited early January of 2020 and all of the staff were super kind. I loved the mochi and the conveyor belt of macrons, and the whole place was super exciting! There was a confetti room, a room full of giant markers for drawing on the wall, an enormous ball pit that was super fun, and at the end they served delicious charcoal ice cream. This place is memorable, fun, and their snacks are delicious. I highly recommend.

Its really nice, however no where near as fun when having to wear masks. I wish there was a way you could take the masks off for a sec at least for the photo ops. I imagine theres a way they could accommodate that. They also have a smell room, but its kinda hard to smell through masks, especially if you wear a heavy duty one.I do think its interesting that you cant take your masks off for pics but anyone and everyone can go run around in a ball pit.Other than tht, the concept is great.

Very very disappointed. Honestly feel as though some false advertising was done. This company sent out spooky Halloween emails as though they would be changing or adding to the exhibit. There literally was not 1 Halloween decoration in sight. No one was in costumes aside from myself and my best friend and there was absolutely no difference in the rooms since my first visit in February. I’ll be honest at first I was thrilled there was a spot in houston activity wise that wasn’t forcing you to eat food or drink alcohol but unfortunately once you visit this place one time it’s done. It’s no where as entertaining the second time around. Not only that, I feel perhaps a more experienced staff is needed. I was first met by a security guard who told me I may not get in because I had on a Swedish Viking costume ..? then when I asked if the exhibits were altered to cater to the holiday and referenced the email I received and asked about being refunded all of a sudden my costume was no longer a topic of concern. Then when we get in the first room, Not long after I’m told about my mask which was over my nose and mouth but apparently because the bridge of my nose was still visible it was an issue. Then we get in the room where you have the headphone exercise across from your partner I sit at a station that has all the necessary utensils only to be told by a rep in the room where my best friend was that I had to move over 1 station to the left which mind you was NOT 6 feet from the next guest. I tried to explain but she insisted so I moved. Only for the rep in my room to come and tell me to move right back over. If not that it was my best friends first time I would have sought that $80 refund from corporate because it just was not worth it today. Totally dampened my Halloween experience. Luckily I had and have a string of things still planned for the evening but if you’ve been here once that’s pretty much it. Today confirmed that. They really should get in touch with some artists who can help them keep their ideas fresh so the experience is new each visit

Tons of instagrammable areas! Some of the cameras were not functioning but the friendly staff was there to assist in taking pictures with our phones. The cameras that did work sent the photos to our email. Cool feature and interesting way to get our contact info. Ha!The parking situation was confusing, I was driving around to find a public parking area. I had to walk two streets over around buildings to get to the color factory. There was a train of macorons in one room, a massive ball pit in another and a confetti room which was pretty cool! There was a room with floating balloons, which was interesting. I tried knocking the balloons off the fans on the floor and they came right back! One of the most interesting light installations was the one where you needed 2 people to complete a circuit for the place to light up. I enjoyed my time here greatly!

I can’t believe the inattention to guest care from the Color Factory location in Houston, Texas. I was injured in their “Thought Bubble” room when two small children were playing roughly with one of the “thought bubbles” and it exploded. The puck that held the air in, struck me on my cheek with full force. It felt like I was literally punched in the face, that’s how violently it hit me. Almost instantly a huge red circle started to appear on my face. An incident report was filed on location and I was told the Color Factory would be reaching out. I waited the entire month of January for this phone call, and nobody ever called. The Color Factory did not even have the decency to offer a refund for my horrible experience either. After the “Thought Bubble” room, I walked through each and every room without engaging in their other interactive exhibits. I was just trying to get the heck out of there, due to my pain. The only thing they did offer, was an ice pack. The employees at the Houston location are not monitoring this room effectively. Due to their negligence to follow through on their own rules, I got injured. They allowed this to happen by not saying a thing to the parents of these two boys. This flying puck could have hit my eye, or my daughter. It’s a shame this company could not even follow though with the incident report, and offer a refund. They might have gotten Houston’s colors right, but they missed our southern hospitality by a long shot.Below is a picture of how my face instantly started to form a welt a few minutes after the hit, and another pic of one of the boys playing with the balloon. Wish I had video to show how rough they were playing with these balloons.
