This was a pleasant, unexpected stop on our family vacation. We just happened to be driving by when we saw Tiny Town. Our two year old is obsessed with toy trains, so we decided to stop. We found out during our visit that Tiny Town opened at this location in 1963 and has been running ever since. Its incredible to see all of the exhibits that have been operating for the better part of 6 decades. My 2 year old loved it, but so did my wife and I.

Love love loved this experience. You can feel the dedication and love poured into this tiny town. Only $7 per adult and one of my absolute favorite stops this trip. Highly recommend for kids, or adults with imagination. Some interactive minis, ans seeing the town at night with the lights off was great!!! So many details and almost everything is recycled materials. In one picture you can see a painted sweet gum ball, a native tree to this area.A must see!!! Only needs 15 minutes to walk through but you could spend an hour watching

Absolutely loved and adored coming here. A place like this should be treasured. The man that works here dad built this miniature town with his own two hands. He put a lot of time, heart, and hard work into making Tiny Town. I was very impressed. There are a lot of buttons you can press to animate the people and trains. Some of it runs on its own though. Very friendly people that work here. On my way out his son gave me a pic of his dad sitting with Tiny Town. What a neat and interesting story. Cost $6 to get in for an adult but the experience was priceless. Im so glad I visited. Worth the visit to support a local business.

Very interesting piece of work. It is one solid structure and not several smaller pieces as I initially thought. A good portion of it contains moving parts and lights. Was worth the cheap entry fee and does not feel like a tourist trap.

My husband had to be convinced to go here, but we both enjoyed this hand made treasure. It started as a plumbers Christmas town, and grew into its own little tourist attraction.

I cant say Im of the generation where roadside attractions were a staple of our trips. Certainly this falls within that vein. Though, I feel like exploring off the beaten path is worth it if you appreciate some history, trains, and craftsmanship. The story presented by the 2nd generation caretaker is interesting and you can tell he cares. This is an experience that you can spend a few bucks on and support a little bit of local history. It doesnt have extravagances or anything beyond a few minutes of interest. It may not be for everyone but I find something a little different, even if its a bit corner or dated, still refreshing in the vast array or prepacked tourism presentations.

It really helped me in seeing all the work that few would apply and others keep alive, just phenomenal experience.

The amount of work put into making this Tiny Towns display made mostly from recycled/repurposed materials was incredible. I hope some folks from the current generation will step up to maintain it for future generations to enjoy.

Very nostalgic. Everything is vintage and handmade, but finely crafted. Worth it for all the vintage toy cars, boats and trains. Hand carved folks throughout the town. Many, many moving parts and scenes with buttons to push. Lots of lights, you get to see it in the dark, also. We even asked to see the underside, its all vintage, repurposed motors. Tiny gift shop for kids of all ages. Delightful tour guide, and gave us tips on visiting Hot Springs.

My husband spoke of this place when we first met as a childhood memory. We visited Hot Springs for our 1 year wedding anniversary and happened by it. Of course we had to go inside. The man that runs it was the sweetest gentleman. He gave us a history of the pieces his dad made and showed us how some of it was made. What I thought would have been boring thrilled my soul to see. There was a lot of hard work that went into creating Tiny Town and a lot of hard work keeping it going. If you are in the area its a must see.

My girlfriend and I went as part of an Easter weekend away. We thought it was closed because there were no cars in the parking lot, but were glad to see it was actually open! They do only take cash, the woman that was running admission when we arrived was so sweet and told us stories about the different pieces and showed us the interactive parts. We loved it! She even opened up underneath and showed us the motors that make it all run! After wed been there a little and a family and another worker showed up, he did a little presentation. It had cutesy jokes and he turned off the lights so we could see the moon and everything lit up. They both told us a lot about the history of the pieces and how they came to be. It was truly incredible, one of the highlights of our trip! I dont remember if there is a public restroom, but there is a little store- mostly toys and some kitschy area related items. Some things were over priced, but would have made INCREDIBLE gifts for Christmas or a kids birthday. Will definitely be going again next time were in town!!

We have visited Tinytown many times over the last 30+ years! Its a must for our family. Made with scraps of metal, wood, sawdust, etc. the little mountain town and trains have delighted 4 generations of our family. Its a little worn now but still worth a quick visit. Your kiddos will surely love the interactive display!

If a group of kids had built this, I would be impressed. From an adult, not so much. While it has a lot of detail, its all very crude. Ive seen many much better model trail towns. I guess the claim to fame is that he built most everything from scraps of material.

Tiny Town was absolutely amazing!!! It was incredibly intricate. Full of so many hidden scenes and characters you have to go around a few times to see it all.My favorite thing about it might be its story. The man who started it (and built most of it) used only scraps and junk or toys to create the whole thing. Even the mechanics were recycled from old dishwasher motors and what not. Loved the whole thing and Charlie (the son of the creator, and Co creator) was very informative with a slight subtle humor.Even our three year old could appreciate the fun of it!Go see Tiny Town!!! Worth every penny!

This is a MUST SEE if you have children and many adults also would enjoy the dedication and work that went into creating this incredible place. We were here in June 2014 and our kids from 4 to 18 were fascinated with the many trains, models and working exhibits.Tiny town is a LARGE display of scenes across America with a lot of history behind it. They have real running water in the mountains, actual working windmills and may other items to marvel at. If you ask nicely you can actually crawl under a few feet and see the inner workings of the displays that everyone of our kids found amazing. This is the best VALUE in hot springs !

Based on the differing reviews on Tiny Town, I decided to call and find out their hours. I spoke to Barbara, one of the owners, about their schedule. She said that they are in the midst of a major renovation - someone drove into their building! The trains and models are safe, thankfully. Nevertheless, getting everything out back together means they will be closed until the end of February 2017 with plans to reopen the beginning of March 2017. Their hours will be 10-2 M-F with similar hours on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.Hope this helps!

I cant review this highly enough. Its an incredibly impressive feat of hand crafting and engineering. Nothing is electronic (all electric), and everything is made out of junk and household materials. I came here as a kid 20 years ago and just returned. I appreciate it way more as an adult. Admission is $6 at the time of this writing. The man who does the tours is incredibly passionate about the project. His father started it and created most of what you will see. I uploaded a bunch of pictures for you to see, but you must visit if you can!
