This is the worst casino I have ever been to. I spent a lot of money in there this evening and was harassed the entire time! Every time I took a drink of my beer (that I paid $6 for, at a casino) before I could get away from my mouth some one was telling me to pull my mask back up!! I literally had to chase a cocktail server down to get said $6 beer, but there was 100 people waiting to tell you about your mask! Absolutely horrible experience! I’ll stick to Horseshoe in Bossier City! Oaklawn Casino is a JOKE! If machine were “social distanced” the harassing wasn’t necessary!! I finally just left with money to spend because I was so angry! Also, their machines are not player friendly, I’m not saying hitting jack pots, I mean take your money ASAP! It was just awful!

Ok casino. In October there was a lot of construction. Had to park across the street and ride the shuttle to the door. Granted it was a Wednesday night... but there was nobody there. Blew through 100 bucks in no time. I dont mind if they take my money its a casino. But at least make it fun while you do it. This was not fun. I want be back.

I purchased several seats last November 2019 for the 2020 Arkansas Derby. Held onto them waiting on a policy for return of funds or exchange for 2021 Arkansas Derby seats. Understanding the difficulty of how COVID-19 has affected our lives and even the casinos, I waited to hear from them. However, never expected to hear they never announced anything and never intended to return monies due to cancellation of the Derby, only unless you called. Being considerate I continued to wait rather than call. My mistake. They quit returning funds in July 2020. How they set a date to quit returning funds when they never announced they would return your money is confusing to me. At least you could return funds in the amount of “free” play, with my money you kept, at the casino and probably could have taken more money from me than you already did! Marketing and customer service - think about a win win here. Sad that customer service is not what you would expect in a hometown that’s supported that track since inception. However, if you read the reviews should be no surprise. I would suggest looking closer at your customer service and increase that 4.2 to 5. Be a little competitive against that number and fair during a pandemic.

This place use to be fun. Now they are paying for the upgrade with your donations! The Slots here are so tight theres no playing room.. Never saw Any jackpots being paid out while I was here. At other Casinos yesterday I saw 15 in one hour! No wonder it was almost full of people. All while being Covid-19 safe. Here even the staff is few no waitress to get drinks. And the security has become slightly rude. Also there is no floor patrol making sure Everyone is in compliance with their own rules.Saw several people not keeping the mask in place. Empty bottles left unattended for over 30 minutes. Wow this is not the Oaklawn I remember. Tonight they lost a player, no plans to return to such a waste of time and money.Take a chance if you dare too. Be mindful there are Other casinos not too far away that treat their players much better.

I love this place when Im winning.So here about 3 weeks ago I went to meet a very beautiful and sexy chick names Shiloh. I sat by here and she was such good luck that I won on the first machine. She was down to $10 and I was up over $30 and I wanted her to have fun so I switched her. Then I was down to a dollar or less and won over $400. The most I ever won. So I gave her $100 because if not for her I would have never done that. I thought that we were gonna be cool. I was wrong but she is still super hot and a good luck charm at the Casino.

Not a single person looked halfway content walking out, so I assume no one was winning, and neither did I. Even small winnings are worth keeping the gamblers attention. Had two different security officers at two different times ask me to put my mask back on, AS I was sitting completely alone trying to drink my beverage. I appreciate them being aware, but if Im not allowed to drink, which was not the case, please put a sign somewhere. Drinks, mind you are not free, not priced low, while also not priced high. Definitely didnt have a drink special, or a free option. Not as accommodating as the many other casinos Ive been to, between Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. The most pleasant things here so far seem to be the cashiers who are always friendly and appropriate, and the complimentary soft drink stand.On a Saturday night, during Covid, the casino should be more concerned with entertainment than they were. Would love to say that Im disappointed in my losses, but Ive lost much more while enjoying the mess out of it! Get better yall. The new casino in Memphis might be taking all your customers shortly. I understand that Covid needs precautions but this place is ridiculous. If they are going to serve drinks that you pay for the please have security not ready to pounce when you have to pull down your mask to get a drink. If you are then at least offer your customers a mask with an attachment straw to get a drink. I mean is felt like a drug sting when I went to get a drink and the kicker was there was nobody within 25 feet of me and that is not a joke.

Drinks are NOT free which was a disappointment coming from the Louisiana casinos. I dont like to be sober when I lose money. The slots are okay, but roulette tables are currently closed due to COVID. Well have to come back later to experience a horse race or the new resort when its finished.

Very clean, very spaced out. All the workers were wearing their masks and keeping at a distance. Everyone was very sweet.

Its a decent place to go but since the covid-l9 started its not the same place its like it sucked the fun out of it . The good thing is the place has doubled in size and the hotel is nearing completion and I think it will be a great too hope

Fun place but me and my girlfriend got gripped at for having our maskes down when we were 6ft away from others and litteraly had the straw of our drinks in our mouth happened a couple times. The one lady apologized though.

With the country continuously pushing cleanliness, I noticed not one machine being disinfected after use. I dont play, but my spouse does, I just go to keep him company. He even mentioned the men that were in the restrooms walked out without washing their hands, which brings germs to everything they touch. The staff needs to be more proactive. If you play my advice is to clean the machine before you use it.

I will never visit this place again. Me and my boyfriend was staying the weekend in Little Rock and decided to drive over here and have a little fun. We played for a little while then I decided to use the bathroom before I left. When I went to sit down on the toilet water went everywhere and soaked my clothes and my shoes. Management came over and called maintenance to clean up the water. All she could say is I wish there was something I could do. Well she wasn’t the one having to wear wet pants or wet shoes. It was embarrassing to say the least and very frustrating. I had to wear wet clothes an hour back to the motel to change. Very very upsetting

I wasnt there for horse racing or for the casino. I was there for the yearly state cross-country championships which oaklawn graciously allows to be run on their infield. I just wanted to say thanks for that... Its a great course and a very nice venue for such a thing.

I was seriously annoyed that they have people patrolling the area just to make sure you are wearing your mask. I prefer to be able to breath freely and not fog up my glasses so I have my nose out a little and they would say something about it every time. I decided to go to the bar so I could take it off (since apparently the virus doesnt go into restaurants ). Even there if you were only drinking, youd have to keep it on! Luckily, the bartender I had, Lynn, was awesome and suggested the cheapest thing on the menu so I could have food in front of me and take the mask off. He was also super friendly and helpful in my drink selections. The chips and salsa were actually pretty good and when my husband joined me, we had the hamburger steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and broccoli and it was also really good.

I think its ridiculous to wear mask while you eating or drinking... They just want your money they did it for me I was on vacation my fiancee usually drop lot of money when we go needlessly to say we stayed 15 minutes

Only went to the casino. $25 minimum on table games. semi interactive caps and roulette for $5 minimum. during social distance times you would hope to have some loose games... with less people there but we all lost right away... shuttle drives around if you park far out.

Tho i never have luck here, i can say this is one of the cleanest places ive been too since the pandemic hit. They checked temps before entering, made sure everyone sanitized and were quick to clean each machine after each person got up. Very nice staff also!!

I was expressed with the quality of the new build. Did not enter the hotel, but visited the new Casino with an old friend. Lets just say I gamble fast ! Lol Dropped a $100 right quick.

Sports books is down and you have to walk through the entire casino to bet on horses. They can do better. Good luck getting a drink in the casino. Sorry but this place is not as good as they used to be.

Payouts are very low. Used to be better but now machines are at minimum allowed. Have not been in a while tried again and still bad.

The only casino Ive been to where you have to buy your own drinks. Not only that, but it took forever to find someone to even get a drink from. However, my 12.00 drink was amazing but very small. The slots are tight. It took an hour and a half to even get a taxi for our ride back to our hotel. Although they seemed under staffed, the staff we did interact with were very pleasant and accommodating.

I have no local bank. I go here to get my money for the bus. Much nicer and efficient than elsewhere.

Ok place but not many people winning. I didnt see a lot of people hitting in the high Rollers Room not a place I care to come back too. I have some friends that come3 or more times a week they love it.

Sad to say the winnings arent found here anymore. Was playing on the slots for over 6hrs and never saw one jackpot be paid. The slots seem very tight! At other casino I see jackpots everywhere happening 7-10 times an hour. Plus I had hit 4 within 2 hours myself.. kinda tells you something about the place. People here seem so dead with no excitement. Maybe once the real competition gets to the state things might change.. Cant say anything about the table games didnt play on any as there was only a few open.Take a chance and see if lady luck can find you here. Good luck lol.

I have been going to this casino for years. I have never truly won a jackpot. In the past two months alone, i have played around $3000. And has received no comp play, no free food, and any type of appreciation for being a member and valued player. I cant wait for the sarecen casino to open. HOPEFULLY they will treat me like a valued player.

Pleasant staff, however having to leave the casino to smoke and go back thru security needs some work.

For the most part a classy joint, but I dont like having to go all the way through the casino to get to the horse race simulcast. It means you have to deal with some of the rudest, most inhospitable, Roscoe P. Coltrane wannabe security guards youll ever encounter. I dont know their hiring procedure when it comes to security, but being a people person at an establishment where individuals voluntarily come to hand over their money isnt among the requirements.

Loved going to oaklawn until recently during covid there are to many folks getting by with pulling there mask down Sat beside a man for 15 mins he had his mask down not one person told him to pull it up and so I started counting of the people who did not wear there mask or did not wear them properly in total 22 and 4 workers. Then it takes forever to get any thing to drink at pine bluff the ladies who gets you drinks carry a tray with small bottled water. Just because you announce CDC guidelines over the intercom does not mean these people will do the right thing you guys have so many walking around they are capable to tell these folks or make them leave it is getting bad. And the payouts suck. Pine bluff are much better. Come on Oaklawn get it together.

I loved it. Its fun, the food is good, and I enjoyed riding the shuttle. I love the protocol for the COVID 19.

We enjoyed ourselves. Theres alot of machines and tables to choose from and onsite betting so we can bet on UFC &NFL. We will return on our next visit

So much fun! First time at the horse races. Opening day was terribly busy so you had to stand in line forever for food, drinks, etc. but we had a great time regardless. Will definitely be going back. The clerk that helped us with betting was the sweetest lady who was so helpful so we went back to her each time. Even won all 3 races we bet!

Great casino, clean and roomy. $15 and $25 black jack tables and the bar closes at 10pm. Cocktail services still available.

On vacation I visit this place once a year and had a good time.

Over all a great gambling experience. They have plenty of machines and a wide variety of games to play you will not get bored trust me! I was just in town for a couple of days and it was nice didnt loose any money as well!

Twice weve been and twice we said we will never go back. Two stars because there is no smoking in there which makes losing money extremely fast more enjoyable than doing so in a nasty smoke cloud. Tightest slots I have seen in the continental US.

We visited March 7th 2020 and we loved the infield being open during the races! My daughter loved the petting zoo and bouncy houses, and we loved the food trucks! Awesome to see the expansion to the Casino finally finished too!

Sports book is a joke. Dont play any futures, the odds are terrible. Went up there to bet Koepka in PGA, all sites were showing 10-1, I got 6-1. Another player I bet was 40-1 or better on all Vegas sites, I got 17-1. Do appreciate their safety protocols, but I dont appreciate having my I.D. scanned. Suspect they are putting private info into their database.

Ive never been to a casino before. It was pleasant but after about an hour, I wanted to smell real air and have the sky above me.

Very slow, not many visitors, the few people I talked to , that are regulars, believe they changed the slots to hit less, not sure they can do that, but that is what I was told, I would definitely pass in it.

Great day of entertainment! Clean facility. Great food and drink options. Beer prices are great compared to other sporting venues. Good food options including sit down restaurants. Food items a lightly overpriced but not as much as most sport venues. Easy to make your bets at the windows but even easier with the Oaklawn Anywhere app. Probably one of the best horse racing facilities in the country. The purses go up every year and the stakes races truly challenge even the most well known tracks. Full service casino on premises. Luxury hotel coming. Hot Springs is an up and coming foodie paradise. Lots of quirky little attractions all around town.

This is always a fun time! You can pay $2 to park and theres no other charge other than to gamble or place bets on the horses. The casino is a little smoky but thats pretty typical of a casino. Free soda and coffee at self serve stations. Its a clean place too. Hot Springs is a great town with much to see and do besides the casino.

Food is outstanding at any restaurant. Games are pretty regular. Security was rude on the floor and outside. Gold coats seemed preoccupied with themselves, tellers were friendly, machines worked. Live entertainment and great at Halloween!

Great time, great service. I loved the carousel restaurant. The horse racing is exciting, the atmosphere is very fun and entertaining. The buffet lunch was very good, the drinks very affordable. Get there at least an hour before post time to get good parking and good seats. Take the shuttle to avoid walking if you cannot park close. Dont pay those reducolus parking fees from the sharks, it only cost $2 to park in the oaklawn lots. Lots of smoking in casino, avoid going in there if you can.

Very great atmosphere! I won a good amount a money. The only downside is that you pay for your drinks and you dont receive real chips. Everything is virtual accept for your cards.

Dont go thinking your going to win big, but it was a good time. The staff is friendly. Drinks are not cheap. Live music down the street at Big Chill topped the night.

This was my first visit. It was a pretty calm environment. I like the fact that they follow social distancing by placing everyone a machine apart. Also upon entry, you get your temperature checked.
